Many ask, “Why do we pray? What is the use of our prayers?” But prayer is more than asking God for things.

The Christian is a priest upon the earth, and our prayers and worship are part of what keeps the altar burning. When prayer ceases and worship is no longer found upon the earth, we lose sight of the very purpose for which we were created.

We pray because the earth must remain a place where God is worshipped. 🔥

Never underestimate the power of a praying Christian.

Are we praying the wrong prayers for Nigeria? 🇳🇬👇

We constantly cry out to God to change our leaders, fix our economy, and rescue our nation. But we are forgetting a major biblical truth: God didn’t create Nigeria.

The concept of modern nations and borders was born out of rebellion at the Tower of Babel. God scattered humanity, but today, the Church is expecting God to magically fix a political system while the Church itself refuses to take corporate responsibility.

The Church has become too individualistic. We pray for personal breakthrough, personal blessings, and personal safety, but we have completely missed God’s holistic agenda for the nation.

God will not bypass the responsibility of His Church to fix a nation's politics. If we want divine intervention, the Church must move from passive praying to active, collective accountability. It is time for a paradigm shift. 💥
