MEET MR SALAU ADEWALE WASIU - FORMER KINGPIN ON THE RUGGED STREETS, NOW BACK TO THE STREETS AS A RUGGED EVANGELIST. HE IS TWO YEARS OLD TODAY; SAVED THIS DAY 26th MAY, 2024.
Mr Wasiu was on this day, and two years ago, met with his cliques where he was drinking and smoking, while Evangelist Anthony Nemi (see picture in slides) met him and brought him the word of truth. It is evident that God has kept him at heart over the years, as he shared that he was born into a ritualist plus islamic home - within a very crude and dangerous environ, from where men are not often expected to be successful, but he had always known something is different about him. There and then, he heard the word, and that was a beginning of an eternal journey with Jesus.
Today, Jesus brings light into His life and through him many souls have been led from the streets to Calvary and further into the sanctuary. He is a dauntless and tireless preacher of the word of God. Today, he celebrates his second year in the light of Jesus Christ, as he is currently on an evangelistic mission field in Osun State, where he keeps winning souls from the streets, with boldness.
According to him, he dearly wishes he found Jesus early, he is completely sure he would have come so far for Jesus, and would have lived more fulfilled. However, the LORD has been merciful to restore years to Him, as He daily gives him grace.
Celebrate Jesus in His life with us, say a word of prayer for him, as we beseech the LORD to make this light remain ever bright, and that Christ be ever seen in Him, glorified in Him, and preserve him until the day of the LORD Jesus Christ. Amen.
