Our Pastor Preached on "Workers In the Harvest". The charge centered around our conduct as labourers in God's vineyard and here are some of the points that stood out for us:

Avoid argument with unbelievers (2 Timothy 2:4-25)

📌 Our responsibility is not to win arguments but to win souls

📌 Focus on preaching the gospel and avoid distractions (Proverbs 4:25)

📌 We must be very loving in preaching the gospel without bias to gender, ethnicity or past history

📌 We must be faithful in our ex*****on of this task that the Lord has given us (1 Corinthians 4:2)

📌 Our assignment is to reconnect men back to God (2 Corinthians 5:18)

📌 We must be bold and unashamed of the gospel (Romans 1:16)

📌 We must obey the great commission and not be selfish like Jonah (Jonah 1:1-5)

📌 We must not be quick to condemn people, but rather be share the gospel from a compassionate heart

📌 Do not write-off anybody, reach as many as possible with the gospel (2 Timothy 4:2)

Benefits of Thanksgiving (Sermon Excerpt)

1. God sees you as a grateful person (Luke 17:17-18)

2. It gives you access to God's presence (Psalm 100:4)

3. You please God when you give thanks (1 Thessalonians 5:18)

📌 Grumbling is not the will of God; when you give thanks to God despite the circumstances, it pleases God because

4. God is magnified when we give him thanks (Psalm 69:30, 34:3)

5. Thanksgiving brings balance to your spiritual life especially in the place of prayer

📌 Any prayer session that doesn't include thanksgiving is incomplete and unbalanced.

6. Thanksgiving ensures we don't become selfish (Colossians 4:2)

7. It ignites joy and creates am atmosphere for the supernatural (Psalm 28:7, Jeremiah 30:13)
