The gathering of the saints i.e (collectively a church) is a place of washing.

"Ephesians 5:26(MSB) - Christ's love makes the church whole.His words evoke her beauty.Everything he does and says is designed to bring the best out of her."

The church is a place of service and servicing - a place where the continuous right dividing of the word of life causes you to come up hither.

A place where the word exposes your inadequacies in your strength and places a demand on you to rest on the strength of God.

A place where the sound word causes you to tilt towards living and expressing the fullness of the life of God in you.

A church should be the seat of knowledge of God's word, where your consistency deals with the impurities in your life.

If God's word is taught right in the church your soul begins to express the spirit life, because the soul is the expression of the reality you operate in.
Capacity is built in you and then you can boldly say "I have been transformed".

It is a dangerous thing to reduce the church of God to a mere place of solution, raising bunch of untransformed souls just beggarly waiting for solution.

This debasement trivializes the value of salvation to us.
A larger percentage of the people with a poor beggarly outlook to things in their lives do not know the value of salvation and the need to sit down,get knowledge of God's word and run with it.

Just as Paul wrote to Timothy in "2 Timothy 2:1-15",the need for self discipline and devotion to study cannot be overemphasized.Sit down and get the tenets of your faith.It is the foundation of your growth; a growth that eliminates every other wave that blows you here and there.

The Bible is a progressive revelation of Jesus Christ from age to age.

When reading the Bible,you are to look for how it communicates Christ.

The plan of God from before time was to redeem man, creation was just used to situate God's original intent.

If the Bible states that from before the foundation of the world began that the blood of Christ was already shed - then you would point out accurately that whatever happened on the cross was to communicate/reveal it in time, because time is a language that the sons of men(man) understand.

God couldn't have communicated to man by using what man is not aware of.
He would definitely use what man's intelligence can interpret.

When you go through the Bible,keep your eyes on God's intent at man's redemption,do not be carried away by the situation/how it was captured.

If the bible captures that Moses fled from Egypt to advance the cause of freeing the children of Israel from their oppressors,do not go about fixing your eyes on the kind of hair that Moses had,the colour of his dress,the kind of sandals he wore or how many children he had; these things pertain to men because it is part of how they live - try not to sway from the original intent which is freeing the oppressed Israelites which is a typology of how we will be freed from the world,this then communicates a shadow of the redemptive power of Jesus Christ.

Try to look for Jesus as you read,see Jesus,keep your eyes focused on Jesus.

Loot the treasures and all will suffer the inadequacies.

Stop blaming God for the inadequacies brought upon the people by man's will.
Do you ever understand what God meant by "the earth has he given to the sons of men"?.

If you want it habitable it will be,if you want it lawless and degenerate it will become so.

Stumble into inventions that has capacity to destroy the humankknd- it will wreck the earth,God wouldn't flinch,he will remain God.

The responsibility for the care and stewardship of the earth has been entrusted to us.

A nation and it's populace plunged into a state of deep crisis,facing severe challenges and instability caused by a few who go on to hijack resources made for the betterment and collective progress of her people;the result will affect everyone,the poor would wail,the rich would scamper for their lives for the fear of the people,your children will be in danger.....but guess what ,God would still remain God.

He wouldn't send warlocks to come kill the offenders.In little ways or big ways,let's be upright.

If I told you that giving( to God) is not transactional would you still give?

If I told you that your giving is to make another comfortable even if you had to become uncomfortable to do it, would you still give?

The idea that when you give ,God multiplies it and gives you back as though it is a transaction must be trashed.

God is not a money doubler,not a gaming scheme.

God has provided for your need before hand,he is not encouraging you to give because he wants to double your money.

Giving primarily is to make others comfortable, giving first is to help others meet their needs and it could cost you your comfort.

You don't give because you have it overflowing,you give because you see a need in the life of another.

Taking a cue from the scripture in "2 Corinthians 8" - how the church in Macedonia gave to the Jerusalem church even in the face of their own poverty and hardship.
They gave beyond their ability,they didn't just assume that Jerusalem is rich and a big city at that and should therefore be the ones to donate to them.These men and women of the Macedonian church gave because they saw a need to meet in the Jerusalem church.

I also want to encourage you to take your eyes away from greed and excessive wants,as this is the reason behind most of your giving expecting that God would double your money.

Be moved with compassion not transaction.

A call for help is when your ability has been stretched.

The blessing is the ability God has deposited inside of you,and prayer is that call for help to water or aid that ability.

Every man on earth has been given an equal playing ground on the earth to survive and dominate this earth,the greatest gift of God to all men is your brain whether you believe Christ or not.
With this brain stretched further/trained you can be anything as far as the earth is concerned.
From engagements/engaging the brain you get to find out that abilities/strengths that are natural to you.You have to take the responsibility to discover what your strengths are.

The fact that God makes the rain /sun to fall/shine on both the just and the unjust is a pointer to the level playing ground that he has given.

Now when when your ability has failed to get you there,there is always a present help God who is willing to help you.Therefore it is important to cultivate a prayer life because it helps your relationship with God.
Your prayer addresses needs that could arise in the future.

As you cultivate a relationship with God in knowing his word and allowing it dwell richly in you,the right way to pray will eliminate quick fix mentality from you in moments where you cry for help because everything naturally falls into alignment.
You don't wait until you are stretched before you start praying because you maybe too weak to pray in those moments.

ABSOLUTELY NOTHING

Been thinking,what do I have to lose if I embrace my immortality?

What makes you link certain things currently happening in your life to your fore fathers is because you live in the blood,that is a life provided by your bloodline,and because there is always a relationship whatever that bloodline carries you automatically carry it.

But if you give up the blood life and allow the life that the Holy Spirit has provided into your flesh and senses, it quickens your mortal body.

God wants to dwell in your flesh and not only being confined in your spirit.
Inability to live the Spirit life to the fullest (i.e allowing the life of the Holy Spirit to dominate your flesh and senses) is why the devil devours your body and uses it for all sorts.
God in the flesh is what we refer to as immortality.

Your body is the temple,your spirit is the carrier of God's glory.
Allow God dominate the temple(flesh and senses) and embrace your immortality.

Being just a nice guy and doing good things does not equate eternal life.

Good works starts with eternal life,and anything outside that is flesh.
The heart of man being desperately wicked,if this be so; where do you get the desire to do good?what prompts the good?

The only person that makes you aware of what is Good, Acceptable and Perfect is the Holy Spirit.
Whatever he gives you desire to do, and you do them,it is recorded, because the Holy Spirit is the only one who records what he gives you promptings to do.

So the real question is can what is good come out from an untransformed man( a man that is not transformed by the person of Christ).
And if the world system thinks it is good,are they able to differentiate between what is GOOD and what is GOD?

It is only a transformed man that is able to differentiate Good from God.

The most important question the gospel has come to solve is the issue of " when you leave this realm where would you be and what would your situation be"

Oftentimes we are faced with chasing so many things that we now resort to using the scripture which in totality teaches us about the Gospel to teach those things we now chase.

In our penchant for money,we resort to using the Bible to teach finance/money matters.

In our quest for marriage we are then found using the scripture out of context to teach marriage.

Are those things bad? No

What we should focus on is the gospel, knowing Christ intimately that we can hardly be found in what is not his leading.

If you know his words, you will hear his voice,you will know his voice in so that you are able to point out what is good, acceptable and his perfect will.

We have made a mountain out of a walk way of the simple things in our lives that should just happen naturally for us.

We now have singles in waiting whom are entirely consumed by only matters of marriage and these would include prayers for marriage,going to church for marriage, giving seeds for marriage, and sometimes compromising for marriage.
The issue have become so magnified in their minds that they end up fighting unnecessary battles.

We have people whom in their quest to prove that their God is a God of finance and money matters are never content and always in the rat race of chasing money.
This is a distorted view and hence one can do anything to score a point.

This is the reason teachers should remain with teaching the gospel whenever we gather in the name of Jesus.
The gospel is divine.

Money is not a currency in eternity.
Marriage is not a thing in eternity.
Leadership is not a thing in eternity.
Employ people who are skilled in teaching these things,let them educate the people,and leave the gospel to be totally about what Christ has done and the power of his resurrection.

Just a loved-up reminder

Even the little things are cared for !!!

One day I woke up not feeling quite terrific because I had been misunderstood by my friend.

And while I was going about my activities around the house,I poured into the water closet bowl some foamed up soapy-water and somehow my eyes were fixated on how the water was going into the bowl and you won't believe what happened.....but I will tell you....I saw the foam shape itself into the form of a love-heart and immediately I burst forth, laughing so hard because it dawned on me that Abba was trying to humour me. And that was the turning point for me that day, the day became beautiful all of a sudden.

Apparently Abba was concerned about my feelings that morning and helped me out of it.
It reminded me that I am always in the eyes of Abba ----- and I want to tell you that you are in the eyes of Abba.
All you need to do is to latch on that consciousness and take of it, the love is everywhere and overflowing.

1 Peter 5:7 - casting the whole of your care (all your anxieties,all your worries,all your concerns,once and for all) in him,for He cares for you affectionately and cares about you watchfully.

I had to go back to this piece I created long ago...

A LETTER TO THE BRETHREN

(read and re-read until you get it,and then share)

Paul emphasized that Christ had abolished death.

Death came as a result of sin,if sin didn't come into the picture,man would have just lived on because the preservation/sustenance of the kind of life that man had was from the relationship man had with God.

Now the summary of everything God wanted with man and in man is EMMANUEL ----being with man, having a relationship with man, having intimacy that nothing contests for with man.

Now even in the failed state of man,God still desired what he originally had in mind,but this time he went much further by exposing life and immortality to light through the gospel ----the Gospel the rescue he gave man to salvage him from his failed state as a sinner.
Jesus being the totality of the gospel,the first to taste death once and for all for every man.

And because all that God(the father) wanted us to be was exemplified in his son Jesus.The father expects that we come into a level of sonship that enables us become partakers in his divine nature.

That we come up to a level where the immortality we by revelation have come to know in our hearts and believed in totally becomes fully expressed through bout bodies.

Immortality----- A body that is not ravaged by sicknesses,diseases,decay wear and tear due to constant use.
We are celestes in our class.

Behold !!! Jesus,raised from the dead,came back to life presented himself to the disciples,ate with them,spoke to them, imparted on them,his body touched by Thomas ---- Thomas had the privilege of touching his glorified (immortalized) body.

They beheld him levitate and ascend into heaven,with a promise " this Jesus you see ascending into heaven shall come into you again in like manner".

Now the thing is the kind of body Jesus had ,is what we should possess and express here on earth. We are supposed to be immortals going about their day to day activities in this realm.

And the most interesting part of it all is that as Jesus ascended into heaven in the same body Thomas touched,that is how he is till date,he didn't change because Thomas touched him.
And in like manner we are expected to levitate or ascend into heaven at rapture ---- This is to state that death is not a passage way to heaven.We pass from life to life. Not from physical death to life eternal.
If you catch this revelation you will be taken like Jesus, Enoch,Elijah.

Note that in all dispensations there was an example of persons who didn't taste death; this is not a mere coincidence,it is real and our reality is in the example of Christ has shown us.

Death is abolished in totality ---- entertain no argument on whether it is spiritual death or physical death,when Paul says death,he meant death in every sense of it.
For without the abolishing of death, there won't be a thing as IMMORTALITY.

Now see Immortality only comes on a body that initially didn't have capacity to hold life.

Vision is subject to your spiritual intelligence.

It is from a transformed mind that you can point to what is good,what is acceptable and the perfect will of God.

And the Lord would bring Peter to mind and what happened with him in the Bible(Acts 10:10-16) where he became very hungry,and fell into a trance and there were four footed beasts of all kinds and a voice came from heaven imploring him to "Rise,Kill and Eat".
But he eefused saying he has never eaten any common or unclean thing in his life.

And the Lord would persuade Peter again and again ,for three times and he refused.

Remember this was Peter who had been with Jesus for three and half years,this was Peter who heard first hand from Jesus Christ,and still considered certain things unclean for him.

Continuing in his old belief system.
Seeing how he interpreted the trance would tell you that Peter's mind was not transformed or not as transformed as one would think that he would be owing that he has been with Jesus for a long time.

And this applies to us in real time in the sense that it is not everyone that you should submit your life to for spiritual guidance/counseling.

Some of these people have remained in the state they were when they gave their lives to Christ, vehemently refusing to be transformed and it is so dangerous to let them run your life.

Transformation is important,continuing to look into the perfect law of liberty(God's word) is a refining tool.This is because the spirit of God requires the word of God to be active in you.

And it is important you know that the level of your transformation is the level of your agreement.

You can't force your heart to come to agreement with God's word,it is through transformation that you come to agreement.

They contested His identity,
but he had his identity intact....your identity has to remain intact.

Whatever tampers your identity,tampers with your whole being and essence.

And Jesus replied "Yes I am" at the question concerning his identity as a "son of God" by the council just before his crucifixion.

You will pass through the fire,you will go through turbulent times ,Jesus is going to be with you.But what would the turbulence leave you with?

Would it leave you with a shattered identity,an identity you are not sure of,an identity you have no grasp of, putting you in a position that makes it impossible for you to be found again.

There is always an evil day and so we are implored to be in readiness for when the trials stick out en masse.
You will rise to contend being sure of the authority that Jesus has made available for you,

You will contend from a point of rest.At this time and prior to it, knowledge and wisdom in Christ should remain exalted in your mind,if the knowledge of Christ is not held up so high....then your mind will be altered.

The battles come to contend with your identity,if it succeeds in breaking you,where would your strength come from?

Whatever happens firmly stay aware of your identity in Christ.
