Topic: *SONS AND DAUGHTERS OF THE MOST HIGH*

Text: *2 Corinthians 6:18 (MSG) "I'll be a Father to you; you'll be sons and daughters to me." The Word of the Master, God."*

As a son or daughter of God, you become an heir in His kingdom and have all the rights and privileges associated with bearing His spirit and name. Romans 8:15 and 8:17 state that we received a spirit of sonship that makes us heirs and co-heirs with Christ.

Ephesians 2:19-22 tells us that we are members of God's household and no longer aliens to His promises. As children of God, we have received all the rights of sonship and are no longer slaves.

Jesus, who was called the Son of God, came bearing the good news that we can have peace with God, and the Holy Spirit testified to this truth. God loves us and considers us His children, and He sent Jesus to purchase our freedom and reconcile us to Himself.

The Father is working on all things to ensure that they work out for our good, and we don't need to fear because He wants the best for us. God is bigger than all our tragedies, losses, and failures and in Christ's death and resurrection, He redeemed our brokenness.

We cannot do whatever we want and expect it to work out well. God works all things together for the good of those who have been called according to His purpose.

If we submit our wills to God, He will redeem the entirety of our lives and all the things that make us.

Topic: *GOD IS A GREAT PROVIDER*

Text: *Romans 8:32 (KJV) "He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?"*

As Christians, God is working out His ultimate purpose for us. He has predestined, called, justified, and will glorify us. We should never doubt God's love for us and the gift of grace He has given to all who trust in Jesus.

The wideness of the universe cannot compare with the length, breadth, height, and depth of God's unconditional love for those who believe in Jesus for salvation. God's grace towards mankind is beyond comparison, and Jesus died for our sins and paid our debt.

God gave up His Son out of love, so His death could pay the full price of our sins, and through His resurrection, we become a new creation in Christ.

We are removed from the old creation in Adam and placed into the new creation in Christ, receiving newness of life in spirit, soul, and body. If God could do all of this for us, He will provide all that we need and more.

Topic: *BE MINDFUL OF GOD’S WISDOM*

Text: *Proverbs 11:2 "When pride comes, then comes shame, but with humble [is] wisdom."*

Being humble is necessary to submit yourself to God's wisdom over your own. Humility and wisdom are closely connected and you cannot be wise without being humble.

When you are humble, you will find yourself wise without even realizing it. Pride leads to disgrace, but with humility comes wisdom.

You should be humble enough to recognize areas where you still have much to learn. No one has arrived when it comes to wisdom, and there is always more to learn. You should remain teachable and open to learning new things to be wise. Jesus grew in wisdom, and if Jesus grew in wisdom, we too should continue to mature in wisdom.

If you need wisdom, ask God who is the ultimate source of wisdom. He is generous and will give it to you if you ask with a humble spirit.

Text: *Philippians 4:13 "I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me."*

Do you know Christ as your strength? Recognize Him as the strength of your life, as it says in Psalm 27:1. With Jesus as your strength, there is nothing to fear, no limitations, and you will always triumph in every situation. Affirm that the Lord is your strength, and don't ask for strength.

Declare that you have been given the might to accomplish every task and that you can do all things through Christ who is your strength. Before you received the Gospel, you may have been weak and timid, but now you are turned on from within by His divine power.

You are bold and courageous in faith. God has given you the spirit of power, love, and sound mind, and that has become your song. You can do anything without fear. Affirm that you will do bigger things for the Lord according to His power, which works in you mightily.

Topic: *SPEAK IN LOVE*

Text: *Ephesians 4:15 "But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:"*

Living a truthful life is about speaking the truth with love and having everything we do confirm and validate it. Love is not just a feeling but a commitment that goes beyond feelings and is acted upon as a decision. Speaking the truth without love can burn bridges and hurt people.

A mature Christian does not condemn others but seeks to reconcile, not divide. Pointing out issues to others should be done with love. Jesus is the source of spiritual maturity, and a believer should be filled with the Holy Spirit to have God's power to control them.

Christians should not compare themselves to others. We must bring every area of our lives to Christ and ask Him to lead us.

Topic: *WE ARE NO LONGER LAW-BASED*

Text: *Matthew 5:17 "Don't misunderstand why I have come. I did not come to abolish the law of Moses or the writings of the prophets. No, I came to fulfil them."*

Jesus was not here to get rid of the law, even though He was accused of it. Instead, He came to fulfil the ceremonial law, which God designed to reveal the truth of Jesus. The laws for cleansing and atonement were no longer necessary because Jesus was the perfect sacrificial lamb.

According to Paul, the law acted as a guardian, like a nanny to a young heir, and helped us understand what sin was. By keeping the law, the Jews could live in harmony with God in anticipation of its fulfilment.

However, the law was not powerful enough to change us. Jesus did not abolish the law; instead, by keeping it perfectly and then imputing His righteousness to those who believe, He fulfilled it.

The law always pointed to Christ's coming, and now that He has come, we no longer need to follow the ceremonial laws that set us apart from the unbelieving world.

I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. The law was fulfilled for my sake.

Topic: *LIGHT*

Text: *Matthew 6:22,23 "Your eye is a lamp for your body. A pure eye lets sunshine into your soul. But an evil eye shuts out the light and plunges you into darkness. If the light you think you have is darkness, how deep that darkness will be!"*

The mind and thoughts, which depend on the light perceived by the eyes, can be affected by the quality of the eyesight. Jesus explained that faulty eyes don't perceive and transmit light, resulting in darkness for that person.

Light is often used as a metaphor for truth, goodness, and understanding in the scripture, and focusing on temporary, earthly treasure indicates greed or a lack of faith in God.

This spiritual flaw is like an injury to the eye, causing darkness on the inside by blocking the light of spiritual truth and leading to moral corruption.

On the other hand, focusing on sincere devotion to God and right living is like having clear, healthy eyes that allow the light of God's righteousness into a person's heart.

The light of God's word is in my heart. The righteousness of God is in me, for me and it is who I am.
