POLITICS SHOULD BE A GAME OF SERVICE, NOT A BATTLE OF HATRED.
Politics should be a contest of ideas, a little game of leadership, competition and service—where the people remain at the heart of every ambition.
It should never become a battle for personal gain, betrayal, revenge or the destruction of one another because of money, power or individual interests.
We can disagree and still respect one another.
We can pursue our political goals without hatred.
We can compete without war.
We can speak strongly without hate speech.
We can support different candidates without turning brother against brother.
And we can still achieve our goals, if God permits.
Political differences should not destroy the unity of our people.
Let Peter Obi have his supporters.
Let Governor Soludo have his supporters.
Let Senator Dave Umahi have his supporters.
But let the people remain one.
No political ambition is worth destroying the peace of our society.
At the end of every political contest, we will still be neighbours, brothers, sisters and citizens of the same land.
Let politics serve the people—not set the people against one another.
Politics should be a competition for the betterment of the people, not a war for personal victory.
Let peace reign. 🕊️
