FOR UNTO US A CHILD IS BORN, UNTO US A CHILD IS GIVEN;
AND THE GOVERNMENT SHALL BE ON HIS SHOULDER; AND
HIS NAME SHALL BE CALLED WONDERFUL, COUNSELLOR,
THE MIGHTY GOD, THE EVERLASTING FATHER, THE PRINCE
OF PEACE.
( ISAIAH 9:6 *KJV )

Brethren, Jesus Christ fulfilled hundreds of prophecies in the Old
Testament. Many of these prophecies involve the circumstances
surrounding His birth. Today we will take a look at only a few of
several such prophecies. We will also take a look at their fulfillment
in the New Testament. Please note the irrefutable similarities
between the Old Testament predictions and their New Testament
fulfillment! I hope that you will enjoy these "Prophecies of Jesus'
Birth!"

The Book of GENESIS:
[Prophecy: Messiah Would Be From the Seed Of A Woman]
( From the Book of Genesis )
"AND I WILL PUT ENMITY BETWEEN YOU AND THE WOMAN,
AND BETWEEN YOUR SEED AND HER SEED; HE SHALL
BRUISE YOUR HEAD, AND YOU SHALL BRUISE HIS HEEL."
( GENESIS 3:15 *NKJV )
Here God is speaking to the serpent of the Garden of Eden.
Who was the serpent? None other than satan himself!
The phrase "you shall bruise His heel, is referring to Christ's
Crucifixion. The praise that He shall bruise your head is
referring to satan's defeat when Christ rose from the dead.
A strike to the heel is not deadly but a crushing blow to the
head is!

[Found in New Testament]
BUT WHEN THE FULLNESS OF THE TIME HAD COME, GOD
SENT FORTH HIS SON, BORN OF A WOMAN, BORN UNDER
THE LAW, TO REDEEM THOSE WHO WERE UNDER THE LAW,
THAT WE MIGHT RECEIVE ADOPTION AS SONS."
( GALATIANS 4:4 )
Born under the law means Christ was subject to the Jewish
law, further establishing His identification with all of the
people who are subject to the law.

[Prophecy: The Messiah Would Be From The

It is written; A GOSSIP BETRAYS A CONFIDENCE; SO AVOID
A MAN WHO TALKS TOO MUCH.
( PROVERBS 20:19 *NIV )

Dear brethren,
Unfortunately, almost every Church has a gossip one
must deal with. Sadly to say sometimes they even run new
members off. They should remember that our Savior, Jesus
Christ said; "JUDGE NOT, AND YOU SHALL NOT BE JUDGED.
CONDEMN NOT, AND YOU SHALL NOT BE CONDEMNED.
FORGIVE AND YOU WILL BE FORGIVEN." ( LUKE 6:37 )

Therefore today's message is about the way a new Church
member handled the Church gossip. This was sent to me by
one of our subscriber's, and I hope it will make you laugh as it
did me.

Subject: Church Gossip

Sarah, the Church gossip and self-appointed arbiter of the
Church's morals, kept sticking her nose into other people's
business. Now several members were unappreciative of her
activities, but feared her enough to maintain their silence.

She made a mistake, however, when she accused George,
a new member of being an alcoholic, after she saw his pickup
parked in front of the town's only bar one afternoon.

She commented to George and others that everyone seeing
his pickup parked there, would know what he was doing. However,
George, a man of few words, stared at her for a moment and just
walked away. He didn't explain, defend or deny--he said nothing.
However, how fitting it was that later that evening, George quietly
parked his pickup in front of Sarah's house and left it there all
night.......

HE WHO HEEDS THE WORD WISELY WILL FIND GOOD,
AND WHOEVER TRUSTS IN THE LORD, HAPPY IS HE.
( PROVERBS 16:20 *NKJV )

Brethren , never let the enemy steal your joy and leave
you downcast! Instead enjoy what God has given you, for
HAPPY ARE THE PEOPLE WHO ARE IN SUCH A STATE;
HAPPY ARE THE PEOPLE WHOSE GOD IS THE LORD!
( PSALM 144:15 )

Now when we have negative thoughts it draws negative
results into our lives. Likewise, when we think positive
thoughts we draw positive results in as well!

After all when we are downcast it brings on depression,
worry and anxiety. All of those things are known to cause
health problems. So always think positive for A MERRY HEART
DOES GOOD, LIKE MEDICINE, BUT A BROKEN SPIRIT
DRIES THE BONES. ( PROVERBS 17:22 )

Now I know that, MANY ARE THE AFFLICTIONS OF THE
RIGHTEOUS, BUT THE LORD DELIVERS HIM OUT OF
THEM ALL. ( PSALM 34:19 ) So again, do not
let the enemy steal your joy on any day. For you know
that YOUR ADVERSARY THE DEVIL WALKS ABOUT LIKE
A ROARING LION, SEEKING WHOM HE MAY DEVOUR.
( 1 PETER 5:8 )

So brethren , enjoy what God has planned for you, and
show that beautiful smile of yours. For when you smile it
shows God's joy within you! Amen.

FOR HE WILL COMMAND HIS ANGLES CONCERNING
YOU TO GUARD YOU IN ALL YOURWAYS; THEY WILL
LIFT YOU UP IN THEIR HANDS, SO THAT YOU WILL
NOT STRIKE YOUR FOOT AGAINST A STONE.
( PSALMS 91:11-12 *NKJV )

Dear brethren ,
One of the functions of angels is to watch over God's
Children here on Earth. For it is written; FOR HE SHALL GIVE
HIS ANGELS CHARGE OVER YOU, TO KEEP YOU IN
ALL YOUR WAYS. ( HEBREWS 1:14 )
Therefore it is clear that our Heavenly Father will send us
an angel in times of need!

Now, let me ask you this, have you ever met an angel?
Well I bet you have! An angel doesn't have to be a Spiritual
Being, sometimes they are human beings just like you
and me. When you think about it, we all have encountered
another person who has been just like an angel to us.
A person who has reached out to help, comfort and guide
us in times of need. The World is full of these human
angels! I'll even bet that someone has even called you an
angel at one time or another.

So brethren , the next time you encounter a person in
need, reach out and be an angel to them! Your Heavenly
Father will bless you for it!

Now may; THE GRACE OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST,
AND THE LOVE OF GOD, AND THE COMMUNION
OF THE HOLY SPIRIT BE WITH YOU ALL.

THE LORD LIVES! PRAISE BE TO MY ROCK! EXALTED
BE GOD MY SAVIOR!
( PSALM 18:46 *NIV )

Adeleye, today and everyday we should praise our
Heavenly Father; FOR GREAT IS THE LORD AND MOST
WORTHY OF PRAISE; HE IS TO BE FEARED ABOVE
ALL gods. ( 1 CHRONICLES 16:25 )

After all, it is written; THE RIGHTEOUS CRY OUT,
AND THE LORD HEARS THEM; HE DELIVERS THEM
FROM ALL THEIR TROUBLES. Also; THE LORD IS
CLOSE TO THE BROKENHEARTED AND SAVES
THOSE WHO ARE CRUSHED IN SPIRIT.
( PSALM 34:17-18 )

Further, BECAUSE OF YOUR FATHER'S GOD, WHO
HELPS YOU, BECAUSE OF THE ALMIGHTY, WHO
BLESSES YOU WITH BLESSINGS OF THE HEAVENS
ABOVE. ( GENESIS 49:25 )

Therefore; PRAISE BE TO THE GOD AND FATHER
OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST, WHO HAS BLESSED
US IN THE HEAVENLY REALMS WITH EVERY
SPIRITUAL BLESSING IN CHRIST.
( EPHESIANS 1:3-4 )

So why not attend Church and; PRAISE GOD IN HIS
SANCTUARY; PRAISE HIM IN HIS MIGHTY HEAVENS.
PRAISE HIM FOR HIS ACTS OF POWER; PRAISE
HIM FOR HIS SURPASSING GREATNESS
( PSALM 150:1-2 ) and let us GIVE THANKS TO THE
LORD, FOR HE IS GOOD; HIS LOVE ENDURES
FOREVER! Amen! ( 1 CHRONICLES 16:34 )

BE OF GOOD COURAGE, AND HE SHALL STRENGTHEN
YOUR HEART, ALL YOU WHO HOPE IN THE LORD.
( PSALM 31:24 *NKJV )

Adeleye, our hope is in the Lord, because it flows to
those who put their faith in Him, and trust Him with all of
their heart. For; FAITH IS THE SUBSTANCE OF THINGS
HOPED FOR, THE EVIDENCE OF THINGS NOT SEEN.
( HEBREWS 11:1 ) Thus the more faith we have
the more hope we will have as well.

We also gain hope and faith through reading the
Scriptures, for it is written; FOR WHATEVER THINGS WERE
WRITTEN BEFORE WERE WRITTEN FOR OUR LEARNING,
THAT WE THROUGH THE PATIENCE AND COMFORT OF
THE SCRIPTURES MIGHT HAVE HOPE. ( ROMANS 15:4 )

So if you are running a little low on hope right now,
have faith in your Heavenly Father and trust in Him with
all of your heart. Ask Him to bless you with it, for it is
written; BLESSED IS THE MAN WHO TRUSTS IN THE LORD,
AND WHOSE HOPE IS IN THE LORD. ( JEREMIAH 17:7 )

Now Adeleye, my prayer for you is; MAY THE GOD OF HOPE
FILL YOU WITH ALL JOY AND PEACE IN BELIEVING,
THAT YOU MAY ABOUND IN HOPE BY THE POWER OF
THE HOLY SPIRIT. Amen. ( ROMANS 15:13 )

FOR I AM PERSUADED THAT NEITHER DEATH NOR
LIFE, NOR ANGELS NOR PRINCIPALITIES NOR
POWERS, NOR THINGS PRESENT NOR THINGS TO
COME, NOR HEIGHT NOR DEPTH, NOR ANY OTHER
CREATED THING, SHALL BE ABLE TO SEPARATE US
FROM THE LOVE OF GOD WHICH IS IN CHRIST JESUS
OUR LORD.
( ROMANS 8:38-39 *NKJV )

Adeleye, God fills us with His love, and He wants us
to share that great love with others. So BELOVED, LET US LOVE
ONE ANOTHER: FOR LOVE IS OF GOD; AND EVERYONE
THAT LOVES IS BORN OF GOD AND KNOWS GOD.
( I JOHN 4:7 )

So why not show your love for others each and every
day. You can do that by being a good friend, and lending
a helping hand when someone is in need. It is also as
simple as smiling and saying hello to everyone you meet,
and asking them how their day is going. So let your love
shine brightly, and try to be a friend to all.

After all, Jesus said, "THIS IS MY COMMANDMENT, THAT
YOU LOVE ONE ANOTHER AS I HAVE LOVED YOU."
( JOHN 15:12 )

Most important of all, remember also that Jesus said, "THOU SHALL
LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART,
AND WITH ALL YOUR SOUL, AND WITH ALL YOUR MIND,
AND WITH ALL YOUR STRENGTH." ( MARK 12:30 )
For when you do, God will fill you with that same amount of
love in return!

Now Adeleye may GRACE BE WITH ALL THOSE WHO
LOVE OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST WITH SINCERITY.
AMEN. ( EPHESIANS 6:24 ) and I know that means

THESE THINGS I HAVE SPOKEN TO YOU, THAT IN ME
YOU MAY HAVE PEACE. IN THE WORLD YOU WILL
HAVE TRIBULATION; BUT BE OF GOOD CHEER, I HAVE
OVERCOME THE WORLD.
( JOHN 16:33 *NKJV )

Now in this World today, there are times when we may
feel overwhelmed by what is going on all around us. After
all with wars and terrorist's threats, terrible weather disasters
happening etc., it is enough to make one wonder what is
happening to this World today.

If all of these events cause you to feel overwhelmed, and
the tribulation in this World is weighing heavily on your mind,
remember that God is always with you, and these events are
unfolding as prophesied. Also remember that our Savior Jesus
Christ said, "LET NOT YOUR HEART BE TROUBLED; FOR
YOU BELIEVE IN GOD, BELIEVE ALSO IN ME."
( JOHN 14:1 ) For when we put all of our trust in Jesus'
hands, we will find peace for; HE HIMSELF IS OUR PEACE.
( EPHESIANS 2:14 )

FINALLY, BRETHREN, WHATEVER THINGS ARE TRUE,
WHAT EVER THINGS ARE NOBLE, WHATEVER THINGS
ARE JUST, WHATEVER THINGS ARE PURE, WHATEVER
THINGS ARE LOVELY, WHATEVER THINGS ARE OF GOOD
REPORT, IF THERE IS ANY VIRTUE AND IF THERE IS
ANYTHING PRAISEWORTHY-MEDITATE ON THESE THINGS.
( PHILIPPIANS 4:8 ) instead of the troubles of this World.
After all it is then that; THE PEACE OF GOD, WHICH SURPASSES
ALL UNDERSTANDING, WILL GUARD YOUR HEARTS AND
MINDS THROUGH CHRIST JESUS. ( PHILIPPIANS 4:7 )
and you will know true peace as you have never known it
before. Amen, Amen Indeed!
