Youth Sunday & Helps Weekend Thanksgiving Service

Theme: The Power of Care (Acts 9:36–42)
Preacher: Sister Salisu
• God’s nature is to care, rescue, and restore. From Eden to Calvary, His love has always been expressed in compassion, healing, provision, and mercy (Genesis 3:21, Hebrews 4:15, John 3:16).
• Dorcas (Tabitha) in Acts 9:36–42 showed how simple acts of care can move heaven, touch lives, and even bring the dead back to life.
• Care is not just a feeling—it is a ministry and a reflection of God’s heart.

The Power of Care
1. Actions Speak – Your lifestyle is a testimony (Ezekiel 22:30).
2. Care Moves Heaven – Compassion attracts God’s attention and miracles (Acts 9:40, Psalms 41:1).
3. Kindness is a Loan to God (Proverbs 19:17, Matthew 25:4).
4. Neglect is Dangerous – Refusing to care can lead to judgment (Luke 16:19–25).
5. Care Reveals God’s Mind (Genesis 18:1–14).

Why Care Matters
• Care preaches Christ and demonstrates the Gospel (John 13:34–35).
• Failing to help others can hinder prayers (Proverbs 21:13).
• What you sow, you reap—care brings blessings (Galatians 6:7).

How to Show Care
1. Give to the needy & God’s work (Proverbs 31:20, Acts 10:38).
2. Preach the Gospel (Mark 16:15).
3. Pray for others (Job 42:10).
4. Forgive freely (Matthew 6:14).
5. Visit the sick, lonely, and helpless (Matthew 25:36).
6. Defend the defenseless (Isaiah 1:17).

Conclusion

True power lies in compassion. When we care, we reflect God’s heart and become channels of His love. Care transforms, heals, restores, and even resurrects. As believers, we are called not just to receive God’s love but to express it daily.

“If you are not born again, you are hurting yourself and denying others the love God desires to show through you” (John 3:3–5).

RCCG September Thanksgiving Service

Theme: Divine Mercy
Date: Sunday, 7th September 2025 – RCCG
Ministering: Pastor E. A. Adeboye and other ministers

Text:
• Matthew 5:7 – “Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy.”
• James 2:13 – “Mercy triumphs over judgment.”

Sermon Message

Beloved, today we celebrate Divine Mercy. Mercy is God’s tender compassion that does not give us the punishment we deserve. Every one of us is a product of mercy—if not for His mercies, we would have been consumed (Lamentations 3:22–23).

Jesus declared in Matthew 5:7 that “Blessed are the merciful.” Mercy is not only something we receive from God, but also something we must extend to others. When you forgive, when you show compassion, when you choose love over offense—you position yourself to continually enjoy God’s mercy.

James 2:13 reminds us that “mercy triumphs over judgment.” Where judgment should speak, mercy silences it. Mercy rewrites destinies, breaks curses, and opens doors no effort could open.

So, as we give thanks today, let us:
1. Acknowledge God’s mercy in our lives.
2. Receive His mercy in areas where we feel unworthy.
3. Extend mercy to others, knowing that as we sow mercy, we reap mercy.

Reflection
• Have you truly received God’s mercy, or are you still holding onto guilt?
• Who in your life is God asking you to forgive today?
• How can mercy reshape your family, workplace, or community?

Conclusion

Divine mercy is the secret behind survival, restoration, and blessing. As we thank God today, may His mercy speak for us louder than any judgment, in Jesus’ name.

Amen. 🙏

🕊️ SEPTEMBER MONTHLY CRUSADE 🕊️

Theme: OVERCOMERS (Greater is the One in You)
Text: 1 John 4:4
Ministering: Pastor K. Adesuyi

🔹 Sermon

Introduction
Beloved, the Word of God says in 1 John 4:4 – “Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world.”
If you are of God, you are automatically an overcomer.

Who do you overcome?
• You overcome “them” – which is the world.
• According to Ephesians 6:12, what is in the world are the rulers, the authorities, the powers of darkness, and spiritual wickedness in high places.

As an Overcomer, you walk in Victory
• Example: Daniel 6:22 – Daniel had the Greater One inside of him, so even the lions could not consume him. He overcame by the power of God.

A Call to Self-Examination
• Ask yourself: With the life I live, am I truly an overcomer?
• Who is the Greater One in you?
• Who do you obey daily?
• The Bible says in 1 John 3:8 – “He that committeth sin is of the devil.”
• If Jesus truly lives in you, victory is certain.
• But if otherwise, the devil takes charge, and defeat is sure.

🔹 Prayers
1. Lord, You are the Greater One in me, please sustain me till the end.
(1 John 4:4)
2. Father, according to Exodus 18:11, let me testify of Your greater works in my life.
3. By 1 John 3:8, every power behind sorrow and bitterness – let the Greater One in me destroy your works in Jesus’ name.
4. Ephesians 6:12 / Philippians 2:10 – In the name of Jesus, every evil power contending with my tomorrow, bow down today!

🔹 Closing Charge

Beloved, always remember: If Christ is in you, you are more than a conqueror. Victory is not something you are chasing—it is already inside of you because Greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world.

Topic: Who Can We Compare Our God With?
Text: Isaiah 46:5, 40:28
Preacher: Pastor Mrs. Adesuyi

Our God is incomparable. He is the everlasting God, the Creator who never grows weary and whose wisdom cannot be searched out (Isaiah 40:28). Idols are made by men, but our God made the heavens (Psalm 96:5). Kings and men fail, but His kingdom is forever.

No one can match His power, love, and faithfulness. He gave His only Son for us, His promises never fail, and His mercy endures forever.

Conclusion: No one can be compared with our God. Let us worship, trust, and serve Him alone because He is above all.
