🏡 DON’T WAIT UNTIL OLD AGE TO WISH YOU HAD INVESTED
When you are young, you may look at land and say:
“I don't have enough money.”
“I will buy later.”
“Let me enjoy life first.”
Then the years pass.
One day, you may discover that the same land you could have acquired years ago for a few hundred thousand or a few million naira is now worth several times more.
The painful part is not always that you didn't have money.
Sometimes, you had an opportunity—you simply kept postponing it.
The Bible teaches us the importance of wisdom, preparation and good stewardship. “A prudent person foresees danger and takes precautions.” — Proverbs 22:3
You don't have to start with the most expensive property.
Start with what you can genuinely afford. Buy wisely. Build gradually. Increase your assets as your income grows.
While you are young and earning, don't think only about today's comfort.
Save. Invest. Build. Prepare for the future.
Don't depend entirely on your children to become your financial security in old age. Give them love, values and a good foundation, while also taking responsibility for preparing for your own future.
Old age is not the time to start wishing you had prepared.
Start building wisely while you still have the time, strength and opportunity.
