WHO DO YOU SEEK?!
Still on MY WEEK OF MIRACLES
The night of the crucifixion was the longest for the crew. Things changed really fast. The Master is no more. This meant absolute confusion for the crew. What's next? Where do we go from here? All that he said about his rising from the dead, was he only saying that to keep the flock together? Did he mean it?
Some of them were no longer sure what it means. What's the use staying together? The Master is gone. The way he was crucified and shamed it doesn't look like there is going to be a comeback. Folks like Thomas were already on their way out of the league. Peter knew this would be a problem. The time was not sufficient for him to learn the art of leading such a flock, he must have thought.
"Am I supposed to do the miracles he Jesus performed? Am I supposed to feed the flock? How? I don't even know how he did those miracles. I mean come on, am no Jesus"
While they pondered, one person was not having it. Mary had overtime observed Jesus closely. She had admired him so close. "Those Miracles meant he is supernatural. Even if he is dead am sure somehow something could just happen. Maybe, just maybe if I could just visit him often and pray at his tomb, maybe he could talk to me again like he did the last time when I anointed his feet. What this man did is not normal"
But the Father had a plan to execute and a promise to keep. The greatest Miracle was about to happen. By divine decree it will never be a second late...
“For the vision is yet for an appointed time; but at the end it will speak, and it will not lie" - Habakkuk 2 Vs 3
So Mary left the frightened crew early in the morning straight to the Tomb. Grieving yet hopeful and hungry for more of him. And Jesus didn't disappoint....
"But God raised Him from the dead, putting an end to the agony of death, since it was impossible for Him to be held in its power" - Acts 2 Vs 24
The greatest Miracle is the resurrection of Christ from the grave. To God this is a promise fulfilled. For mankind this means total victory from every kind of grave holding you down and from the chains and bo***ge of sin. There is no saying how exciting it was for Mary when she realised he had risen. She had found the tomb empty that morning. This made her cry. She feared they may have taken his body somewhere else.
"Jesus asked her, “Woman, why are you crying? Who is it you are looking for?” - John 20 Vs 15
Every of God's promise towards us has been established in heaven. None of them will go unattended to. Let the whole universe pass away if they are not fulfilled. God reigns supreme.
"so shall My word be that goeth forth out of My mouth: It shall not return unto Me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it" - Isaiah 55 Vs 11
MAY GOD'S WORD AND PROMISE CONCERNING YOU COME TO PASS QUICKLY
MAY EVERY DOOR CLOSED AGAINST YOU BE SMASHED OPEN IN THE MIGHTY NAME OF JESUS
RISE FROM THAT SITUATION A VICTOR
THIS IS YOUR SEASON
