Good Day Your Excellencies,
Let’s talk about the Trending ‘Mummy G.O’.
For some days now, a woman comically referred to as “Mummy G.O” or “Mama G.O” has been trending for her preposterous statements around who will make heaven and who will not. She had made unscriptural and judgmental statements concerning people being sure candidates of hell for eating Titus fish, watching football, playing football, taking vitamin C, doing break dance, a man barbing skin etc 🙆🏽😳.
According to Romans 14, I believe her statements are very misleading and intended to get the weak in faith condemned. Also, in Mark 7:18-23, Jesus Christ clarified that what defiles a person are the intentions of his/her heart, not what the person eats. In verse 20, “Jesus added, Words and deeds pollute a person, not food.”
Seeing that the woman is spreading lies, what are our responsibilities as Christians, especially a Christian teenager:
1) Don’t join the trend of people to joke around issues of hell. Countless people are still thronging to hell for not living for Jesus. Let’s pray for our unbelieving friends and families who are yet to know the truth. Hell is real and is no joke
2) I’d advice you don’t make her videos trend on your socials. Don’t make evil people trend. You would think you are just catching cruise by sharing her videos. However, someone else might get to take her message seriously when he or she hears her through you. That was the same way, people thought they were catching cruise with indaboski two years ago, presently the same man is very popular, and even has over 100 times the followers he used to have. You might think you are making jest of these guys, instead satan is trying to make them popular, ensuring their messages fall into the wrong ears through you. Be careful, don’t be ignorant of the devices of the devil.
3) Instead, use your social media handles to spread Christ and his gospel more. A lot of souls would be saved if we all use every opportunity God has given to u
