CONFORMING DAILY*
*THE CONFORMITY WALK OF THE SAINTS*_*

"For whom he foreknew, he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, in order that he might be the firstborn among many brothers".
Rom 8:29
In the text we read, St Paul is educating us on how that God foreknew and predestined that we would come into conformity to the image and stature of the Christ. From the moment of rebirth, Christ did not only become our place of translation he became the one to whom our new image has been conformed. The spiritual growth of the man in Christ is designed to be shaped by the image of the risen and glorified Christ. That's the nature, image and stature that has to be at work in a regenerated Christian. Jesus is our pattern-man that meaning that God designed that our conformity walk must be in the similitude of who and what the glorified Christ represents.
When it pleased God to reveal Himself to the world, He came through Jesus. For the first time, men could see God fleshed. Our walk of faith,however, is a walk in line with the stature revealed in Jesus. It's a conformity walk. We come into alignment knowing that we have been bought with such a great price of the Blood of Jesus. We do so as we walk in the light of His word and as we obey everything he has commanded us to do. As we conform to His image we attract the glory of His ever abiding presence. Hallelujah!
PRAYER/DECLARATION
Thank you Father of glory for choosing me among your saints in light to be conformed to the image and stature of the Christ. My words, actions, thoughts and character are in conscripted into your eternal design and will for the man in Christ in Jesus name. Amen.
