Most people do not understand the dangers of twisting God's commandments.
Keep it simple when you approach the scriptures, How do you read the scriptures?.
Do you read in you imaginations, your ideas or private interpretation?
Apostle Peter warns us that false teachers twist the scriptures to their own destruction and the ruin of those who follow their covetous teachings.. We see it very glaringly in Nigeria, among the popular pastors: read their books, visit their web pages, listen to their podcast and listen to the message.
They keep fumbling and wobbling on how people can get saved and have assurance of salvation.
How come the masses do not just get it?
That if a man claims to represent Jesus Christ and he can not tell you correctly what you must do to get saved, he is a false representative of Christ.
Listen salvation is the first priority, for except a man be born again he cannot see see/enter the kingdom of God.
It is those who a born of God that can become properly taught disciples.
Yet, these celebrity pastors keep loading people with legalism, mysticism and all manner of wicked bandages and distractions but you will never hear them preach the truth. It is obvious they do not know the truth, therefore they are in captives along with their religious fans.
The most painful ascept is that even their personal testimonies of salvation leaves much to be desired, At best their testimony of salvation is similar to awakening or enlightenment according to eastern religion and in the worst scenarios the have no recollections of trusting Jesus Christ for the promise of eternal life and the forgiveness of sin.
Nigerians test the spirits, by comparing the popular christian teachings carefully with the scriptures.
Peace.....keep yourselves from Idols.
