I stepped out to eat in a restaurant while I was waiting for NYSC mobilization, the usual girl who serves us food did her work as usual and I decided to pray for her and thank her for her job . They were paying her, weren't they? Yes they were, but then I still felt the need to celebrate her. When I was done eating, she came closer and asked me about my NYSC mobilization, she then said she knows of someone who can help me get a good place to serve. My personal core values doesn't support lobbying and I wasn't going to do that, but then I decided to call the number one afternoon, and it was the voice of a woman, the moment I mentioned my name, she told me the girl already spoke to her about me. Long story cut short, she asked me to select any state I wanted to serve in the country, she also said she understood that I am a pastor so I should pray about it. I got back to her after two days with the state, and it was settled.

I got to my camp, while I was in camp, our first day on queue to collect food as usual, when I was served my food, I told the woman who served the food "God bless you ma" , and that was it. She stepped aside and called me. She asked me of my name and when I told her she was so excited as her husband and I have the same name. She went on to say that none of my colleagues had ever appreciated them for serving food. She then asked me to see her in her office. While I was still pondering whether to go or not, I discovered that she was a national figure who was only serving food on that day, the moment I saw that, I jumped to her office immediately. Through that singular relationship, I knew where I was to be posted to before the end of camp and I wasn't allowed to eat just anything that others ate. I remembered entering my NYSC camp with just 2500 and by the time I was out I had close to one hundred thousand on me; from one favor to another.

In all these, I have come to learn the following; Favor is not automatic, favor flows in the direction of humility and honor. If you want your journey in life to be less stressful, honor all men, be meek, be humble. Many have driven their helper away just because they can't resist being unnecessarily proud. Pride has never helped anyone get to their destination, pride existed before other sins, it reduced Lucifer and made him become the devil. Pride can make a monster out of anyone.

READ CAREFULLY

If you seek the kingdom and not wealth, the richer you become, the more you give. From 10% to 30% to 60% to 90%.

You will improve your standard of living but your priority will be to become a channel.

You will realise that if God is blessing you with more than you need, the blessing is not for you.

You will give 30% because you can live off 70%. One day your 10% will be more than what used to be your 90%.

Imagine I earn 500k, 10% is 50k. That's my tithe. 450k is just enough for me to save, and take care of other things. That's my 90%

When God blesses me and I start earning 3M. If I am seeking the kingdom, I won't give 10%. I will give more. I will give 1M, for instance, because when I had 450k, I didn't die. Now I have 2M or 67%, and I won't die.

When my income is 10M, I can decide give 5M to the Lord, you see. I'm now at 50%. With the remaining 5M, I can do more than 2M or 450k

This is what it means to seek the kingdom.

Many don't know this so they are still at a level because God cannot entrust them with mere finances.

If you can't give 10% of 60k, you won't give 10% of 60M.

There was a poor boy who prayed and asked God to give him a job so he could earn 1 dollar. God heard him and he had promised to be faithful. He gave 10 cents as tithe

Shortly after he started earning 10 dollars. He gave 1 dollar

Then he started any 100 dollars. He gave 10.

After many years, he was earning 100,000 dollars. He wanted to give 10,000 dollars and asked himself what his small church will do with that amount. So he decided to send only 1000 or 1%

That night he had a dream and saw himself praying for the job of 1 dollar as a boy. God now asked him if He was too small for 10,000 dollars.

He woke up sweating and drove furiously to the pastor's house and told him what had happened before handing him the cheque of 10K dollars.

The pastor exclaimed that they had been led to buy a property and didn't have the money to balance up, and that the seller said another buyer with complete money would take it if they didn't show up that day. The balance was exactly 10,000 dollars, you see.

God needs stewards. He wants to bless you so much that you can live on 1%, but would you realize that it His money, not yours. That you are keeping His money for Him and using some as He allows, and not the other way round? - giving Him some out of your money?

He wants to bless you for kingdom, for others, for the church, for the gospel to spread around the word, for His ministers and people, to be well taken care of, for the needy, the widows,

That was the problem with the rich young man Jesus spoke about.

The rich man thought to himself, ‘What will I do? I have no place to keep all my crops.’

Then I can say to myself, I have enough good things stored to last for many years. Rest, eat, drink, and enjoy life!’

“But God said to that man, ‘Foolish man! Tonight you will die. So who will get those things you have prepared for yourself?’

Luke 12:21
“This is how it will be for anyone who stores things up only for himself and is not rich toward God.”

It was one of the secrets of David.

He panted after the house of God
He wanted the house of God to get the best
He wanted to build a temple for God
He was not allowed to but prepared and prepared and prepared.

Brethren, be rich towards God.

THINGS THAT SOUNDS LIKE TALES: STAY AWAY FROM UNNECESSARY TROUBLES.

I was returning to Lagos from a meeting when I got a call from a preacher who seek my advise on a matter.

I told him not to go ahead it's a dangerous bend.

He is a missionary to a remote town, he felt led to marry a lady there.

This lady is the daughter to the traditional priest there, she had just received Christ less than 6months.

I said its wise to allow the lady grow in Christ before he rushed to marry her.

He wanted me to pray about it but I know by understanding that it was the wrong time to do so.

The lady was betrothed to the deity of the town, in a nutshell she was a priestess in training.

I always advocate patience for a matter like that, I wasn't doubting her salvation but for wisdom sake, it's a wrong move.

The priest warned him to stay away from his daughter but he claimed a strong convictions to go ahead.

My little experience in deliverance ministry ignited my siren of warning, it's demonic manipulation to deal with him.

They couldn't touch him but they needed to have a legal entrance to crush him.

I did my little and abit follow- up to convince him but he claimed to be led so I backed off.

He married the lady without the parents consent with the support of fellow young ministers.

From the night they consumated their marriage, something strange began to move from one part in his body to another.

That's not faith, it's pure foolishness, there is no boldness in such.

Infact it's not persecution, it was self ex*****on.

Getting to know what happened, I told his people to first release the lady back to her parents.

He should also seek God's forgiveness anything else will be waste of time.

Even if God is leading you, allow Him lead you to the needful, to be a Christian is to be Christlike.

If they couldn't do anything against him for 3yrs he had spent there before the error, they can't do anything if he didn't play into their hands.

1. Such lady carries demons,
2. There is need for total disconnection through Holyghost baptism.
3. She must be taught the word of God to a point to resist satanic manipulation.
4. Someone else must minister deliverance to her.

One thing that distinguishes us as believers is the wisdom that comes from the Holyghost.

Don't do emotional Christianity, stay within the confine of the scripture.

Faith is not the same as being self-willed.

SHOCKING TESTIMONY

A particular young lady in her early twenties went to the office of a pastor for counseling.
During the counseling session while the lady was narrating her supposed story to the pastor; he suddenly noticed he was having some strange sensations all over his body.

A voice within the pastor started telling him strongly things like, " Tell her to undress herself. Grab her breasts. Slap her on the buttocks." The pastor was dazed that such thoughts could be running strongly through his mind. However he did his best to fight those thoughts.

The voice persisted and when the pastor could no longer bear it, he shouted at the top of his voice not minding the lady's presence, " I rebuke you, Satan. You demon of lust, loose your hold upon me! I'm not your candidate. Arrows of lust and seduction being projected against me; come out by fire in the mighty name of Jesus.
I arrest that unclean spirit in the name of Jesus"

Immediately, the lady began to vibrate with shock clearly written on her face. The pastor noticed this and looked at her critically.
"Sister, what's the matter?" He asked

"Sir, I'm surprised you could resist the power." The lady said trembling
"What power?" He asked.
" I'm a marine agent, and any man of God I approach with this power must fall into sin with me so that they can be polluted spiritually and their ministries can be eventually destroyed" she confessed.

"What?"
"Sir, you are the fourteenth man of God I've been sent to this year and the only one that has successfully resisted this power" she confessed.
Now you can imagine the shock on the face of the pastor upon hearing this confession.

MY TAKE
Dear Young Minister, It is not every cry for help from the opposite s*x that is actually a cry for help in the real sense of it. If your spiritual ears are well open and trained, you will discover that some are cleverly disguised traps in waiting.

You may not know this thing I'm about to say, but the fact remains that those men of God you may have heard about or knew about that fell into the sin of s*xual immorality(which you are boasting that you can never fall into)did not initially have the intention of falling; some of them just got carried away in the course of trying to be of help to the people they fell into sin with.

Come to think of it; if a satanic agent sent from the pit of hell to bring you down and destroy your ministry comes to you, do you think they will come to you announcing, "O man of God, I am on assignment to destroy your ministry"? You will be so naive if you think that is how they will come.

They will simply come as someone in need of prayers, help or counseling. Some may even deliberately join your church or ministry for that sole reason.

This may sound crazy, but permit me to tell you that there is also what can be called s*xual attraction towards the anointing. There are ladies even though they may be very few in the church that have s*xual fantasy towards their pastors.

There are ladies that would not mind bedding their pastors. This is why as a young minister of God, you must be very careful and sensitive in your dealings with members of the opposite gender.
Though I am not disputing the fact that there are men of God that are actually the randy type that deliberately take advantage of vulnerable women and ladies in the church.

There are ministers that can go after anything in skirt. I'm not disputing that. However I'm stressing the fact that there are sad cases of genuine men of God who fell due to carelessness, nonchalance and lack of discernment.

This is why discernment and spiritual sensitivity is a must in matters that involve members of the opposite gender. There may be need for you to set certain boundaries for your own safety when relating, counseling or praying for women.

This is also why I'm always not in a hurry to ask for the heads of men of God who experience moral failure. Some of these fallen soldiers need love and restoration while there are some that God simply exposed their hypocrisy.

Women can be very wonderful and they can be God's greatest gift to any church or ministry; but you know the devil also has the habit of counterfeiting whatever God is doing. So, if God is using women, the devil is also using women.
May God grant all our ministers sharp discernment!

A Young Man Helping his Male friends to go on with an attempt to deceive and sleep with or defraud a Lady, most often series of Ladies.

Our children must observe how seriously we take God.
They must notice we don't fiddle with our phones when we pray because God is that important.

They must see us kneel, lift our hands and shed pious tears in worship and devotion to God because God is worth all that and more.

They must observe that our conduct in church and at home doesn't differ much,
They must attest to the fact that our Christianity is without guile and hypocrisy.

They must notice that we don't speak evil of men in our closets and that we don't take a break from spiritual consciousness when we leave church.

Raising Children in the way of the Lord isn't just about overseeing a morning devotion and buying Christmas gifts, it is living a life that affirms the reality of God before their eyes.

During Pastor Lawrence Oyor Ministration at the Abuja 12 hours programme last week Friday, he sat the children on the front roll and call them out to cast out demons from people, I watched how this kids were praying and casting out demons Kai. I knew I have wasted time. Children are so important to God because they are his HERITAGE another word for heritage is INHERITANCE, if all of us were like this when we were kids, this world will not be like this today.
Let us be intentional about children, there are like investment which will yield returns in the future.
Parents be intentional about your children
Youths be intentional about your siblings
Teachers be intentional about your students
