CELESTIAL CHURCH OF CHRIST MEMBERS...
_Happy New Month and First Sunday in February._
As we begin this new month of February, let's delve into our first lesson, Ezekiel 14:1-11, and our second lesson, Acts 3:12-26.
These scriptures offer valuable insights for our spiritual growth and development.
In Ezekiel 14:1-11, we see the prophet Ezekiel confronted by a group of Israelite elders who have set up idols in their hearts. Despite their outward appearance of seeking God, their hearts are far from Him.
This passage cautions us against idolatry and emphasizes the importance of sincerity in our relationship with God. As Celestial Church of Christ members, we must examine our hearts and ensure that our priorities align with God's will.
The scripture also highlights the consequences of idolatry and the importance of seeking God's guidance and wisdom.
In today's context, we must be mindful of modern-day idols, such as materialism, worldly pursuits, and unhealthy relationships. We must strive to cultivate a genuine relationship with God, seeking His guidance and wisdom in all aspects of our lives.
Our second lesson, Acts 3:12-26... Here, we see Peter and John healing a lame man at the temple gate, and then preaching about Jesus Christ.
This passage emphasizes the importance of faith, obedience, and witnessing.
As Celestial Church of Christ members, we are called to share the gospel with others, just like Peter and John.
The passage also highlights the significance of Jesus Christ as the source of healing, salvation, and redemption.
As we reflect on our own lives and experiences, we must recognize the role of Jesus Christ in our journey and give Him the Glory and Praise.
In conclusion, our lessons today remind us of the importance of sincerity, faith, obedience, and witnessing in our relationship with God.
As Christians, let us strive to apply these lessons to our daily lives, seeking God's guidance and wisdom in all we do.
May this new month bring us closer to God and empower us to be effective witnesses for Jesus Christ in Jesus Christ's Mighty name I prayed... Amen ๐
