Day 2 of our Social Media series, "Bible verses that challenge the Soul"
Last time we shared that we as Christians should not be comfortable with just hearing the Word of God but we need to apply it to ourselves.
How can we remember everything? How can we be Holy in a sinful world? God's standards are so high, how can I reach it?

With man it is impossible, but with God everything is possible!

So the challenge for today is-Do you truly rely on the God of the impossible in all situations?

Hello everyone, It's been a while! Welcome to Day 1 of our Social Media series, "Bible verses that challenge the Soul"
Each day we will be posting a Bible verse that calls us to deeply think about our faith and hopefully challenges us to take action.

Have you ever taken a look in the mirror and then once you walked away you forgot what you saw? Yes? According to James 1:22-24, this is what it is like to Read the Bible and then not apply it. Sometimes we as Christians today are content to just hear or read the Word of God but don't apply it to our lives. And because we are forgetful, once we don't apply it, it becomes lost to us.

So the challenge for today is-How can I remember and apply God's Word in my life daily?

Matthew 16:24-26 - Jesus commands us as His followers to take up His cross and follow Him. What does it mean for us in our daily lives to show the example that Jesus showed for us?

We know how Jesus lived and the words he taught, but why do we find it hard to do them? To be good living examples, we need the power of the Holy Spirit, every day in our lives, to give us the strength to live the life that Jesus calls us to.

Who do you put your hope in everyday? where do you draw your strength from?
Human strength is limited and can only do so much. When we draw strength from the Lord not only are we emboldened and helped by the Holy Spirit but it leads to rejoicing!
How amazing is it to live a life full of rejoicing and praise. May our lives become more like this in Christ. Amen!
