THE WORST THING THAT CAN HAPPEN TO ANYBODY IS TO DIRECT YOUR LIFE'S ENERGY INTO AN ENDEAVOUR THAT DESERVES NO ENERGY AT ALL
ONE OF THE WORST TRAGEDIES OF LIFE IS RUNNING VERY FAST IN THE WRONG DIRECTION
GOD ASKED BISHOP OYEDEPO TO ABANDON A LAND THEY HAD ACQUIRED AND DEVELOPED MANY YEARS AGO BECAUSE HE DIDN'T SEND THEM THERE
WE LEFT A SATELLITE CHURCH IN NYANYA (ABUJA) IN THE EARLY YEARS OF OUR MINISTRY AND GAVE OUT THE CHAIRS AND EQUIPMENT BECAUSE GOD SAID HE DIDN'T SEND US THERE
NO MATTER HOW FAR YOU WENT IN THE WRONG DIRECTION, A U-TURN IS POSSIBLE WHEN YOU REALIZE YOU'RE IN THE WRONG DIRECTION
EVERYTIME YOU ENCOUNTER THE PRESENCE OF GOD, YOU ENCOUNTER LIBERATION

This may be hard to say but there are so many people pursuing the wrong things. You see, the worst thing that can happen to anybody is to direct your life's energy into an endeavour that deserves no energy at allt. Let me say it like I wrote it - that one of the worst things, one of the worst tragedies of life is investing time, energy and resources in a direction that is not the will of God for your life. One of the worst things, one of the worst tragedies of life is running very fast in the wrong direction. You're running very fast but in the wrong direction. You're spending so much time but in the wrong direction. You're wasting so much effort in the wrong direction. You're exerting so much energy in the wrong direction. . Glory Conference 2024 will be said to be successful if someone's direction that was not right is changed.
One day, our father in the Lord, Bishop David Oyedepo after they got a land to move the ministry from where it was to where they thought it should be.. They've spent so much money on acres, was a hundred acres or something, they've done pillars in the earth and done everything in the earth. He said, one day God told him, "that place you're planning to Church to, I'm not there. That's not my plan, that's not my will for you". He said he sent for the architects, the engineers and everybody, he said, "move from that site now" and they moved. Later on, God gave them another site, a bit smaller than that one but that was God's will for them. He left the pillar, left everything on the ground. He said, many years later, one day, God told him, " you know that place you were planning to take the ministry to at that time? If you had gone there, that would have been the end of the ministry". That is, with all the anointing, with all the grace, with all the giftings.
Moses faced the wrong direction until God redirected him. Paul the Apostle faced the wrong direction. He thought he was working for God. He was killing people, he was persecuting the saints and considered that his calling until on the road to Damascus, God redirected him. Acts 9:1-10. Peter was redirected, he thought he was going to be a fisherman for life until Jesus redirected him to become a fisher of men. Luke 5:1-10. Church Gist. My dear brothers and my sisters, one of the greatest assets of any man on earth is to come to the point where you know you're wrong. Number one, to agree that you're wrong and number two, to agree to make u-turn. The arrogance of man, the pride of man dos not ever want to agree that they made the wrong move, took the wrong step.
No our Church was a few years, we took a satellite Church to a location within Abuja City and after about 5-6 weeks, Nyanya to be precise, equipment have been bought, chairs have been bought, everything has been done. t. And while I was in the presence of the Lord, the Lord told me that He did not send us to do that Church planting and that it was not his plan and purpose. So, the Pastor I sent there, I called him, I said, "God said He didn't send us to do that Church planting and that wasn't within his plan". The Pastor said, 'so, what do I do with the equipment?' I said, 'look for any Church there and give them'. 'what about the chairs?' 'give it to any Church in that locality and be on your way back'. He returned back grudgingly or grumblingly, if there's such an English in England. (Laughs).. We forgot about Church planting and then held our peace and then many years later, God said it is now time to go. And then, we went, not to Nyanya anymore, we went to Mararaba which is just nearby. Today, in that axis, there maybe up to 100 Churches in that axis alone now. Where some are running 3 services, 4 services, 5 services except for the connection we are doing right now. Do you understand what I'm saying? I told the Pastor, about turn! 'what do we do with chairs?' give to other churches that are there'. 'what do we do with the equipment?' give it to anybody who needs the equipment. It is never too late to be right and no matter how far you went in the wrong direction, a u-turn is possible when you realize you have made the wrong turn, when you realize you're in the wrong direction.
- I prophesy to somebody here tonight, I declare a redirection for your life, destiny and your life's assignment!
3. It's the glory of liberation.
The presence of God carries liberation power. 2 Corinthians 3:17. Everytime you encounter the presence of God, you encounter liberation. That was what happened when God spoke to Moses concerning Israel. Exodus 3:7-10. " I am come down to set them free from oppression, affliction, depression and suppression".
- Beloved, tonight, you're inside a liberating presence!
- You're in the midst of a delivering presence!
- You're in the midst of a healing presence!
- can someone say Amen like a believer?
Luke 6:17-19. It was like a flowing river. 'and He healed some of them?' Are you reading well at all? He healed just the headaches among them? How many people are being healed here tonight?. How many people are being delivered here tonight? How many people are being liberated here tonight? If you're among the 'all', jump on your feet with a shout of Hallelujah!
- I don't know what is in your bloodstream as you came here tonight, high cholesterol is cleared out! Blood sugar is cleared out! Sugar diabetes is cleared out! In the name that is above every name, hepatitis A,B,C is cleared out! Beta thalassemia is cleared out! Leukemia is cleared out! Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, they are cleared out!
- you believe that, shout the loudest Amen!
The glory of His presence is the glory of liberation. Many times I ask in our Church, how many of you, when you stepped in today you came with a sickness? and they did. How many of you, you don't know when it left? and many can't tell when it left. The ulcer is gone, the hypertension is gone, the HIV is gone. They can't tell. "I'm just realizing now that something left me and I'm not aware"
- Tonight, something is going to leave you, but you are going to be aware.
It is the glory of liberation.
