COMPETE WITH HIM AND YOU 'LL LOSE YOURSELF

Sis, ministry is not a competition.
The moment you start comparing your impact to his, your calling to his, your voice to his — you’ll drift straight into the pool of insecurity.

And insecurity? It always leads to bitterness.

Bitterness toward him.
Bitterness toward the church.
Bitterness towards innocent people around you.
Bitterness towards your children.
Bitterness towards your staffs.
Bitterness toward your own calling.

But hear this:
You were not called to outshine your husband.
You were called to _complement_ him.
Genesis 2:18 – “I will make a helper _fit for him_.”
The Hebrew word means “one who comes alongside, strong and equal.”

Your lane is different, not lesser.
His pulpit is not your prison.
Your influence is not measured by who’s on the platform.

Stay in your lane. Build what God gave _you_ to build.
Celebrate him without shrinking yourself.
Support him without losing yourself.

Not Everything Broken Is Meant to Stay Broken 🛠️

Pastor’s Wife, hear this:
Just because it’s cracked doesn’t mean it’s done.
Just because it’s wounded doesn’t mean it’s worthless.

Some things God wants to restore, not replace.
Your marriage. Your joy. Your ministry. Your heart.

The enemy loves to whisper, “It’s too far gone.” But Romans 8:28 says He works _all_ things — even the broken ones — for your good.

Broken doesn’t mean buried.
Broken means God gets to show off His repair work.

Don’t give up on what God hasn’t given up on.
Hand Him the pieces. He’s still the God who makes all things new.

Let’s talk real, Pastor’s Wife

Have Your Own, Sis — Not to Compete, But to Be Whole 💪

Yes, cultivate your own income, your own skill, your own savings. Not because you’re trying to “out-give” someone in church. Not because you don’t trust your husband.

But because you’re called, capable, and created to have agency.

Proverbs 31 doesn’t describe a woman who sits and waits. It describes a woman who _considers a field and buys it_. She works with her hands. She brings profit to her home. She knows her worth.

Having your own money does 3 things:
1. *It builds confidence* – You’re not cornered. You’re not begging. You’re contributing.
2. *It protects your dignity* – You’re a partner, not a dependent.
3. *It frees your heart* – You can love your husband and serve your church without fear holding you hostage.

But hear this: Money doesn’t guard a marriage. Character, boundaries, and the Holy Spirit do. A faithful man stays faithful because of God in him, not because of your bank account.

So build your own. Not from fear. But from wisdom. Not to compete. But to be whole.

WORK ON FAITHFULNESS

Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord. 1 Corinthians 15:58.

You must make up your mind to be faithful to every Responsibility that's committed to you .the importance of faithfulness in Christianity cannot be over emphasized. It's a quality so valuable that it can make you a success in every area of your life.

A man was sent to Lagos island to get five different Brand-new men's wears . Getting there he was looking for fairly used ones,he got it and came back and present it as new .His uncle collected it and said nice one and gave them back to him,said he bought it for him because has been complaining about what wear.
The younger brother ,instead of him to be happy and be excited, his face fell because he collected money for new wears and he went and bought second hands wears not knowing he just did evil to himself.

How faithful are you to your boss or pastor? How faithful are you to the work the lord has committed into your hand. A faithful person is steadfast, dependable,constant and trustworthy. There is great reward for faithfulness. The sure path to promotion is faithfulness. A faithful man shall abound with blessings. Proverb 28:20
