LEADERS SHOULD BE HUMBLE AND LISTEN
Apart From Praying For Our Leaders To Ensure They Do God’s Will, We Must Also Pray For Them To Pick The Right Team. Because Those Are The People They Listen To The Most, They Can Be Influenced Quite Easily By Them. Good People Around A Leader Keep Him Or Her In Check And Prevent Them From Being Carried Away With The Trappings Of Their New Position. An Example Of The Right People Around A Leader Is Seen In Mark 3:20-21, When Jesus Family And Friends Came To Rescue Him By Force Because He Was So Engrossed In Meeting People’s Need That He Did Not Have time to meet His Own Needs.Some Of Us May Never Have Read These Verses Of The Scripture And Thus Find It Strange That Jesus Friends Came To Rescue Him Because They Thought He Was Getting Carried Away. IF JESUS COULD BE CORRECTED HOW MUCH MORE YOU AND ME? Are You Too Big To Be Corrected By Those Around You? Are The People Around You Able To Speak To You When They Think You Are Doing Something Wrong? We Need To Pray That God Will Position The Right People Around Our Leaders And Also Give Them The Spirit Of Humility To Accept Correction When Proven Wrong....
