This is what restoration looks like.

Once a 15-year-old boy who dropped out of school, struggling to survive…
today, he is back in the classroom, in uniform, learning alongside his peers.

He didn’t need punishment.
He needed support, guidance, and someone to believe in him.

Through the help of AGCRF, he returned to school before this last vacation. His story is proof that when children are supported, purpose is restored.

This is why we do what we do.

This is impact.

At 15, he had already dropped out of school. (Episode 2)

Not because he was lazy.
Not because he was stubborn.
But because life happened faster than he could handle.

When asked about his flaws, he didn’t argue. He didn’t pretend.
He spoke quietly and said the truth:

“I don’t know how to talk to people.
Sometimes I take money.”

No excuses. No denial.

What he really lacked was not discipline — it was direction.

Two years out of school, surviving on the streets, misunderstood, and judged.
But when someone finally sat with him, listened, and guided him, something changed.

He admitted his mistakes.
He agreed to return to school.
He chose to change.

This Christmas, our NGO is meeting children like him across Lagos homeless, school dropouts, and vulnerable teens not just with food, but with mentorship, structure, and a second chance.

We believe that when a child is guided, not condemned, transformation begins.

We are mentoring them back to purpose.
