So faith (what you believe in) is acting on the God’s Word, and doubt is refusing to act on the Word.
In Romans 4, Abraham believed according to what God said, not according to how he felt. He didn't believe his feelings; he didn't believe based on what he saw; he didn't believe his physical senses. His faith was based on God's promise.
Many people put their feelings first, their faith in their feelings second, and the Word of God, if it has any place at all, last. Reverse the order! Put the Word of God first, your faith in God's Word second, and your feelings last.
Remember, feeling is the voice of the body; reasoning is the voice of the mind; but conscience is the voice of the spirit. Listen to your conscience and act in faith.
