What is your relationship with God?
In relationship with God,we need to understand the place of judgement in our life as believers because in every judgement we deliver or witness ,we are going to be judged, we need to understand that judgement is an exclusive right of the almighty God.
In Matthew 7:1-2, the scripture says "Do not Judge and criticize and condemn others, so that you may not be judged and criticized and condemned yourselves."(Amp).
In the Gospel according to John 8:3-11, when the scribes and pharisees brought the adulterous woman to Jesus to be stoned to death, because it is a tradition that any woman caught in the act of adultery shall be stoned to death, which they have been practicing till that day. But on sighting Jesus, they stopped and took the woman to Jesus . And after speaking with Jesus of what the law of Moses states, as regarding the stroning of woman that day. Jesus said " let him that is without sin among you be the first to throw a stone at her"( Amp)
Most of us might think that what saved the woman is the word that Jesus said. No it's not the word that saved the woman, the Jews are hardliners , a generation that crucified Jesus after witnessing his miracles .
What saved the woman that day can be found in the book of of John 1:14 "And the word became flesh and dwelt among us" For we need to understand what inspired and happened that day, the scripture says that Jesus bent and wrote on the floor , he made the word on the floor come to reality.
When the scribes and pharisees were coming to pick the stone to stone the woman,they saw themself committing the same act of adultery with someone's wife , and the womans husband in question is also present among the crowd.
When the other man(woman's husband) wanted to pick the stone to stone the woman too,he saw himself stealing another man's goat and the man that has the goat is also present too, about to stone the woman too. The same situation repeated itself for everybody and they all saw their sin life and direct.
At the crucifixion of Jesus Christ ,they were two criminals been crucified with Jesus. The one on the right referenced Jesus, and Jesus replied him saying" Today you will be with me in paradise" Take note , among those in the crowd that day were men and women that the criminals stole something from, maybe a goat or anything and as they were watching him been crucified with Jesus, they were celebrating and making mockery of him but they never knew he was on his way to paradise with Jesus. Some of us have taken the place of God in the judgement seat by judging everyone we come across.

What is your relationship with God?
In relationship with God , we need to understand the worship that is required from us as believers from God, because each time the world wants to make mockery of ministers of the gospel, they ask the question ''which church and worship was created by Jesus Christ while he was on earth?"
Yes, there is a worship required by God, and it is stated in the scripture.
When Jesus met the samarian woman at the well of Jacob ( John 4:3-4), he left Judea and departed into galilee and he must need to go through samaria. We need to understand the use of the word 'must' here(MUST). Because there is a discrimination that has eaten deep into the body of Christ that all the prophets before Jesus were not able to resolve. The Jews and the Samaria have nothing in common and what is the issue.
The problem is not that they do not know God or worship him but the issue is where to worship God , the mountain or in Jerusalem? We need to understand something here, both the mountain and and Jerusalem were approved by God and when Jesus requested for water from the Samarian woman. She replied " don't you know the Jews and samarian have nothing in common. For example, when you invite someone in your church for Thanksgiving and the person replied" I could have come to your church but in your church , women wear trousers but in my church , we don't . Oh , I could have come to your church ,but you people wear weavon but in our church , we don't"
Worshipping God is more than a woman wearing trouser or weavon . Because in worshipping God, we need to have the knowledge and the understanding of whom God is. That is why he is the almighty God, there is nothing that can be compared to him. Because you can not have a relationship with somebody that you don't know.
Jesus told the samarian woman ( John 4: 23-24 ) But the hour cometh, and now is , when the true worshippers shall worship the father in spirit and in truth, for the father seeketh such to worship him. God is spirit , and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth"
The worship that is required from us is to worship God in spirit and in truth. In whichever place you worship God , as long as you don't worship him in spirit and in truth, you are on your own.

WHAT IS YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD?
In relationship with God, we have to understand the person ,the ability ,the capacity and the place of the holy spirit in our lives.
The psalmist David said in psalm 51:11, "take every thing away from me Lord, but do not take away your spirit from me .
The person of the holy spirit is so important in our life as a believer because the spirit of God in the life of a man is something more than gold.
Today, most of us are aspiring to be this and that, but none is aspiring to have the spirit of God. Jesus Christ understood how important the holy spirit is, that is why he told his disciples (John 14:26) , that if I go, I will send the comforter to you , the person of the holy spirit,and when he resurrected , he instructed his disciples not to do anything until the comforter comes (Acts 1:8).
They ,the disciples went to the upper room, locked themselves up and and started praying for the holy spirit to come and when the holy spirit came, they were able to confront their enemies.
Have you , as a person desire to have the holy spirit?
Have you seeked for the person of the holy spirit?
Have you searched and ask him to come into your life so that he can confort you as the comforter that he is?

What is your relationship with God?
In relationship with God, Satan the corrupt leader have not relented in the violent war to corrupt whosoever have believed and trust in God.
Ephesians 6 vs 12. ''For we wrestle not against flesh and blood but against the principalities , against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world , against spiritual wickedness in high places.''
But Thanks be to the Lord who did not put those who stand in their faith and trust in him to shame in the battle of maintaining their position in faith .
We have to appreciate and be very happy to have experience God's protection in our relationship with him.
In the same relationship , Daniel was delivered from the Lions den. Likewise three friends who were delivered from the burning fire.
Also ,David,the young Shepherd killed Goliath the giant by the power of God.
The biggest threat to the enemy and our biggest access is our relationship with God. Surely the Lord is God the creator and is good to have a relationship with him without fear of favour.
Jeremiah 1:19 " They will fight against you, but they shall not prevail against you for I am with you says the Lord to deliver you".
Romans 10:11 "For the scripture says " Whoever believes in him will not be put to shame".

What is your relationship with God?
In relationship with God, we have to come to the understanding of the A, B and C in the life of a believer.
A stands for Accepting.
B stands for believing.
C stands for the comforter.
When Jesus was asked "what is the greatest commandment in the law, Jesus replied that we must love God with all our heart and mind and soul.( Matthew 22 vs 36 -42)
The love for God means that you must Accept him(A) and accept to do his work.
The B, means to believe in his son Jesus Christ. In John 6:28 " when they came to Jesus , they said to him, what shall we do that we may work the works of God" Jesus answered and said to them , " this is the work of God, that you believe in him whom he sent."
The C is the person of the holy spirit, the Comforter. When Jesus Christ resurrected , the disciples wanted to use his resurrection as an intimidation against the Jews because they were so happy in seeing the resurrected Jesus Christ.
But Jesus Christ told them , go to the upper and wait until the comforter comes ,the person of the holy spirit . And when the Holy Spirit came , they began to do exploits for God.
Brethren, Accept God , believe In Jesus the son of God, and have confidence in the holy spirit.

What is your relationship with God?
In relationship with God,we as believers need to understand what this relationship has ushered us into.
In luke 11vs1 , when the disciples of Jesus came to him asking him to teach them how to pray, one thing that we have to understand here is that the people that came to Jesus are not the Pharisees or Sadducees but his disciples, people that Jesus worked with, lived with and stayed with.
And Jesus said to them, when you want to pray , pray like this " Our father, who art in heaven , hallowed be thy name, thy kinddom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is done in heaven..."
Jesus knows that God is in heaven, but at the level of the disciples which is the level of the relationship with God, that is intimacy with God , God ceased to be called God that is far from them but a God figure that is a father to them that is closer to them.
Brethren, our Lord's prayer is not a prayer for unbelievers . It is a prayer for believers because the people that requested to be taught how to pray are the disciples of Christ. And at the level of the disciples ,God is no more God, he becomes a Father to you.
In Matthew 7 vs 7 , "ask if shall be given unto you,seek and ye shall find, knock and it shall be opened into you." Brethren, you must first of all establish a relationship with God, and whatever you ask of him, he will give you just as a father giveth to a son
Just like what Jesus said in Matthew 7vs11,"If he then, being evil know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your father who is in heaven give good things to them that ask him."

In relationship with God, we have to understand that the resurrection of Christ in this Easter period is what obtains salvation for mankind.
Because in 1st Corinthians 15 vs 13-14, Paul made mention that If Jesus Christ that we are talking about had not risen, then our preaching and our faith are all in vain.We as believers have to understand what the resurrection obtained for us because the only sin that can guarantee your place in hell is not giving your life to Jesus. There are many people in hell who have committed different sins, but the one that will guarantee your place in hell is to refuse Jesus Christ as your Lord and personal saviour . The scripture declares , "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God". (Romans 3:23) " If we say that we have not sinned , we make him ( God) a liar , and his word is not in us."( 1 John 1:10).
No matter how good you think you are, by God's standard even your unbelief makes you a sinner. Jesus said, " when the holy spirit comes , he will convict the world concerning sin because they do not believe in me."( John 16 : 8-9).

What is your relationship with God?
In relationship with God, when we feel the most betrayed , Jesus Christ understands for he had experience total abandonment and betrayal. Out of darkness comes out a loud cry ( Eli Eli lama sabachtani) It was not a cry against God but a cry to God Almighty. Beloved, Jesus Christ was not received, by men He was deserted. His disciples fled from him but because of his constant relationship and communication with God, God did not forsake him. Because of our relationship with God . He can never forsake us in time of distress as long as we have a forgiven heart... For a forgiven heart is the key (Luke 11:4) God will always deliver us from evil as long as we can forgive others. " This is a prayer attached with a condition". Yes, it's normal to be annoyed when provoked and it is also understandable to show your anger. But forgiveness and calmness must come thereafter .
You can not have relationship with God without having the mind to forgive. Jesus was so annoyed , he went into the temple of God and cast out all of them that sold and bought in the temple , and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers , and the seats of them that sold doves ( matthew 21:12) . But thereafter the same Jesus forgived them , he not only preached to them , he healed them.

What is your relationship with God?
In relationship' with God, the sins we are talking about is not the sins of adultery, lying , stealing , fornication, backbiting, envy and so on. But are you doing the will of thy father . The biggest act of courage is forgiveness - to say I am sorry. Some of us because of pride we have driven away our destiny helpers. Because of pride , we have chased away our our husband, likewise our wives .The oldest sin in the world is pride . It sedduced Satan to rebel against God and the consequence is it's fall. The rich man in (luke 12: 19-20 )was so proud of his provision that he lost eternity.
(proverbs 16:18)Pride goeth before destruction and an haughty spirit before a fall
(Proverbs 11:2)When pride cometh , then cometh shame but with the lowly is wisdom.
The proud deceives himself
(Proverbs 16:2) Every one that is proud in heart is an abomination to the Lord
(Revelations 18) The eyes of the proud are blind to his own faults.

What is your relationship with God?
In relationship with God, Paying the prize is not only about prayer and fasting alone , it is about winning souls for the kingdom.
Mark 16vs15, And Jesus said unto them, Go ye into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.
You can not have a relationship with God without winning souls for the kingdom. Some of us will go to the extent to advertise eateries, restaurant, businesses , telling people about how good a venture is. But have you taken your time to advertise Jesus.
Many people compare themselves with others ,I don't have a car, I don't have a house, and so on. Why don't you compare yourself with Jesus because he is the only one worthy to be compared in any situation.
Soul winning is the paramount responsibility of every believer. In Matthew 7 vs 23, ' And then will I profess unto them, I never knew them. Depart from me, ye that work iniquity. ' The men that Jesus was addressing did miracle in his name, they raised the sick, they made the blind to see, yet Jesus rejected them, why? Because they do not have a relationship with God. He told them he knew them not because they can never win soul for the kingdom, they never made heave n to celebrate.
Because for every single soul, that came into repentance, heaven celebrate because the only thing that can qualify a man to be wise in the sight of God is when he win soul for the kingdom.
Soul winning is so important that at the point of death, Jesus won a soul for the kingdom .
So my brothers and sisters win a soul today, so that heaven will celebrate for your sake .
