SEE WHY THE MAN YOU CALLED YOUR SPIRITUAL FATHER DOESN'T HAVE TIME FOR YOU:
My generation always confuse Fatherhood for Mentorship and Mentorship for Fatherhood.
Anybody can mentor you with books and other ministry materials. But when it comes to Fatherhood, there must unhindered access to your Father seasonally and periodically.
I see most sons get angry not been able to have one on one access with the man they call their Father, yet they see other sons walk in and out of that office.
LET ME TRY AND ESTABLISH 5 REASONS WHY YOUR FATHER DON'T HAVE TIME FOR YOU.
1. THE MAN YOU CALL YOUR FATHER DOES NOT EVEN KNOW YOU ARE HIS SON.
Fatherhood is either by SALVATION or REVELATION, meaning the person who got you saved, or raised you up spiritually.
And by revelation, implies the person who God REVEALED to you.
Where we have problem when it comes to ministry is that the man under whose ministry you were saved and raised may not even know you exist anywhere.
So he may be a Father figure in your life, But you are still denied the PRACTICALITY OF FATHERHOOD. The man God revealed to you is very very important in this context because the person who got you saved may even be dead now, no longer in the faith, or a visiting Evangelist that has returned back to his country of origin. So God must reveal someone to you that will play that role in your life.
2. THE MAN YOU CALL YOUR FATHER IS TOO BUSY TO HAVE ONE ON ONE WITH YOU:
This is also another deception among young men.
The man that is too busy to see you, is the same man going to visit other sons in their houses and offices to bless their work. He is too busy to call you, but he calls other sons to check on them. No Father is too busy not to have time for a true son, People only have time for what is beneficial to them.
But in case, he is TRULY busy, then look for someone he has raised that can Father you in the same way he should have done.
If men like Bishop Abioye, Pastor Ibiyeomie, Pastor KK, Pastor Enenche, Bishop Aremu or any top son of Papa Oyedepo fathers you, it is still the same flow and family tree.
3. THE MAN YOU CALL YOUR FATHER IS NOT BENEFITING FROM YOU MATERIALLY and FINANCIALLY:
The gift of a man will always make a way for him, and brings him before great men.
There is the level a man will eat your money and start looking for you, even without you begging to see him.
No stingy son can have audience consistently with a Father.
Even God loves a cheerful giver.
When Solomon brought sacrifice to offer before God, it was God who came personally to open the door and talk with him.
Sacrificial giving will attract the attention of both our Heavenly FATHER, and our Spiritual Father.
I have never seen a Father, who does not remember the name in the credit alert they see regularly.
you can't give him your tithes, Your first fruit, Your Prophet offerings and your honour seed and he won't have time for you. Never, it is not possible. And incase you have done all these things and he still doesn't have time for you,you will have to get a mentor that must play the role of a father over you. Somethings are not just books and tapes, there must be physical and seasonal contact. Never forget, most of the things that will help you are in the custody of a father who chooses to open up to you.
4. YOU HAVE NOT OPENLY AND PUBLICLY REFER TO HIM AS YOUR FATHER.
No Father wants a hit and run son.
No Father wants a son that is ashamed to call him Father openly.
Some sons are sons only in the presence of the man they call their Father. As soon as they leave his presence, he becomes a mentor or an "elder in this work". There is no inheritance from an elder brother, he has is own children.
Inheritance must be released to a son by a Father.
Fathers are so sensitive to know when you withdraw your Sonship. Those with self esteem also withdraws their fatherhood over you.
How can you say someone is your Father, and you have never liked, commented or shared his post on facebook, and you are all over facebook liking the post of other Fathers.
There is no Shepherd that is proud of a sheep who can't publicly tell people this is my Shepherd and I am a member of the church he pastors. Some of us have never refered to as father the man playing the role of a father in our lives.
How can you take your pains to one father, and take your gains to another father?
5. THE MAN YOU CALL YOUR FATHER IS ASHAMED TO BE CALLED THE FATHER OF A PASTOR WITH A DAMAGED IMAGE AND CHARACTER:
I have seen Fathers come out to say ,he is not my son. The way he behaves, he can't be my son. Fatherhood gives endorsement, but when it is done for a wrong son, it brings embarrassment.
I have seen Fathers remove the face of a son from billboard just to save their ministry name.
Dear Pastor, be very careful how you get your prophecies, miracles and finances in ministry. Ensure it is not at the expence of your image. Because when image is damaged, likeness is destroyed.
God created us in his image and likeness. That image is to sustain the likeness. But when that image is destroyed, likeness is forfeited. The only thing stronger and better than silver and gold is a good name.
