Prayer & Worship | The Intimacy Room: May Special Edition

There is something truly beautiful about gathering in the open air… sharing meals, laughter, fellowship, and lifting one voice in worship to God.
This coming May, The School of Minstrelsy and Prayer (SOMAP) in collaboration with CORI invites you to a very special edition of Prayer and Worship — The Intimacy Room, themed:
JESUS MUST BE SEEN ... ( THE PICNIC )

This edition will be a Prayer & Worship Picnic, a refreshing and intimate gathering designed to deepen our fellowship with God and with one another in a relaxed, joyful atmosphere.
Scripture says:

"Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven." Matthew 5:16

This is the heartbeat of this gathering, that Jesus will be seen in our lives, in our fellowship, in our love, and in our worship.

In a time when Christianity is constantly under pressure and the faith of many is being tested, there is a greater need now more than ever for believers to rise in unity and prayer.

The Bible clearly instructs us in 1 Thessalonians 5:17 to pray without ceasing. This is not just a suggestion it is a call to action. A call for consistency, for passion, and for spiritual responsibility.

This is why Nations Pray was birthed.
Nations Pray is not just another prayer gathering. It is a movement. A divine call for believers across different nations, backgrounds, and walks of life to come together in one accord to seek God, to intercede, and to stand in the gap for our lives, our communities, and our world.

In moments where it may seem like darkness is increasing, prayer becomes our strongest weapon. When we unite our voices in faith, we create an atmosphere where God moves, chains are broken, and lives are transformed.

This is more than a program.
This is more than a routine.
This is a mandate.
It is time to rise.
It is time to stand together.

We live in a generation that no longer takes the things of God seriously. Many people now make a mockery of the things of God. Even the Holy Spirit, who should be honored and reverenced, is often mocked or misrepresented. This is very unfortunate.
The Bible warns us seriously about how we treat the Holy Spirit. The Bible tells us in Matthew 12:31–32:
And so I tell you, every kind of sin and slander can be forgiven, but blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven.

This means we must be extremely careful not to mock the Holy Spirit or claim that He said something He never said. Some people may miss heaven not necessarily because they never tried to live right, but because they treated the Holy Spirit carelessly and spoke falsely in His name.
Sadly, we now live in a time where the things of God are turned into comedy and entertainment. The Word of God is sometimes circulated with wrong interpretations and false doctrines. Many people have even changed the Word of God to suit their mentality, their lifestyle, and their personal desires, just so they can still claim the promises of God.

But the Bible warns us clearly in 2 Timothy 4:3:
For the time will come when people will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears.
Today, many people practice religion instead of true Christianity. But Christianity is not a religion it is a relationship with God through Christ. True Christianity transforms a person's heart, character, and lifestyle.

This is why we must be careful with our words. Do not quickly say, God said, or The Holy Spirit said, when the Holy Spirit has not spoken. The Bible also warns us in James 3:5 that the tongue is powerful and can cause great damage.
As believers, we must learn to seek God personally. Do not depend only on what your pastor says. Open your Bible, study it, and allow God to speak to you through His Word.

The Bible encourages us in 2 Timothy 3:16:
All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.
Therefore, be careful how you speak, be careful how you treat the things of God, and honor the Holy Spirit. Seek God sincerely, study His Word, and live according to His truth.
