Preparing Now For Kingdom Living
*Text Matt 5-7
*Key Text:Matt 5:5:-Blessed are the meek for they shall inherit the earth
*Meek suggests strength gien over to God with the newbirth experience
It does not mean weak
*Our lives require a daily surrender,sometimes moment to moment surrender
*Loud does not mean strong and quiet does not mean weak
*Nun 12:1-8:-Aaron and Miriam spoke against Moses because he married an Egyptian woman
*In v3-The bible said that Moses was very meek above all the men upon the face of the earth Moses was with Aaron and Miriam but the Lord heard them and answered for Moses
*Total surrender helps us to depend on God in everything When we keep quiet,it does not mesn we are stupid or weak,it does not mean we are not intelligent enough to understand at hand or around us
But one thing is sure our God is watching
*James1:19,20;-Wherefore my beloved brethen let every man be swift to hear,slow to speak(20)For the wrath of manworketh not the righteousness of God
*As women we must be very slow to speak and listen more When you are quiet in your spirit you hear more clearly
*When one speaks you hear what they are saying and what they dont want to say and if there is a lie you will hear that also
*Matt 11:29;-Jesus said;Take my yoke upon you and learn of me;For I am meek and lowly in heart and you shall find rest for your soul
*If only we will learn from our Lord Jrsus Christ
*Phil 2:6-8:-Who being in form of God thought it not robbery to be equal with God but made himself of no reputation and took the form of a servant...........
Reading the bible,listening to sermon and attendung church will not in and of themselves lesd to meek lives It is only by total surrender ot our will to the will of God that meekness will become a permanent character traitin us
Blessed are the meek for they shall

Preparing Now For Kingdom Living
Text Matt 5-7
Key Verse:Matt 5:4:-Blessed are they that mourn,for they shall be comforted
We all know what it means to mourn and sorrow over the loss of a friend,family member or a spouse That relationship you have put in so much to build That marriage that wayward child The loss of material things like car,house job
Jesus was not only talking about material things He was also talking about an attitude that we must have to make us fit for the kingdom of heaven
We no longer mourn as women when we see our boys and girls indulge in sin even our own children
We no longer mourn for the shame on our streets when girl,s women, mothers and grandmothers walk the street half naked
We no longer mourn when we see parents who cannot feed or cloth their children
We no lnger mourn for the affliction of others
The church has become leprous It cannot feel pain
Jesus is telling us to reject the world standard(Rom12:15-21)
The world is saying enjoy but Jesus is saying mourn
Our instincts is to avoid pain and the pain of others
But we can learn from them and give them as part of our devotion and gift to God
We must accept that life is not given for the sole purpose of our own comfort and enjoyment
If we are going to make heaven our home,pride must be replaced with humility,the desire to enjoy must be replaced with mourning
We must not mourn for our own sin only but we must love enough to mourn for the sins of others
The Lord has promised to comfort those who pour out love and concern in the form of tears
I pray for you that the Lord will give you a new heart to follow him to the end in Jesus name Amen

Preparing Now For Kingdom Living
TextMatt:5-7:-Jesus' Sermon on the Mount
Everyone desires to be happy People look to find happiness through various means
Our modern day idea of happiness is a dependency on things-money,relationships,fame,cars etc
Realistically we know it takes more than these things to live a happy life
-The Beatitude which means Blessed are the opening sentences of Jesus Sermon on the Mount which begins with Beatitudes
In these eight Beatitudes Jesus writes the Character of the Christain Life
They reveal the secret of Happiness
Happiness is within- a by product of a way of life and worship
So often the 21st century christain think of the word blessed in the context pf God's favour upon us in terms of recieving material things -God giving us things that we can see, touch,taste etc But the word of God expands the realities of what it means to be trully blessed
In these Series we will be studing the eight Beatitudes
This study will enable us to self examine or evaluate our readiness for kingdom living as we interact here on earth with believers and also with the world
Matt 5:3:-Blessed are the poor in spirit for theirs is the kingdom of heaven
To be poor in spirit means to be emptied of self,to be lowly in ones own eyes To be poor in spirit is not to think too highly of oneself(Rom 12:3)
Women feel atimes embittered,oppressed and unloved beacause the world is trying so hard to squeeze us into its own mold(12:2)
The greatest problem of man is self It always want to be noticed,to be praised Self does not want to be put down
Through the Ministry of the Holy Spirit we realise that we are nothing, has nothing,can do nothing but has need of everything Pride is removed from our lives
The poor in spirit which deals with the inner man and not the outward show is placed first on the list of the graces It is a very important place to start our preparation for kingdom living
The christain journey begins with accepting Jesus Christ as our Lord and saviour Confessing and believing that He died and rose on the third day to save you from sin If you have made the above confession sincerely from your heart you are now a child of God The Holy Spirit of God will come into your heart and help you as you walk with God
Becoming a christain means a deathlike surrender of our life to Jesus Christ
We die to our own rights,control of our life and plans for the future
The cross becomes the basis of our relationships in our homes marriages,church,office business
Our tme,energy,resources and skill are put at Jesus disposal for others
We forgive because we are forgiven
People do not need to measure up any more than we had to measure up in order for God to love us
We take on troubles frustrations and problems of others as Christ took the cross
-I pray for you that the lord will draw you near to Himself by the power of the Holy Spirit to get you ready for the kingdom of heaven in Jesus name Amen

Text 17:14-21
Key Verse Matt 17:21Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by praying and fasting
This is the story of a boy with a demon and his father brought him to the disciples and they could not heal him
In our homes,communities and our world in general,there are troubles and tragedies and we seem not to have solutions for them
Christainity or the church has the key to unlock the potentialities of life,the secret for the discovery of peace, joy and power
Matt 17:19,20:-The disciples asked Jesus why they could not cast out the devil
Jesus answered and said to them because of your unbelief
Matt 17:21:-Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by fasting and prayer
First you must believe before you can come
People dont pray because they dont trully believe
In a life of sustained communion with God lies the power to deal with evil
People want so many things without paying the prize for it
In this kingdom of our Lord Jesus Christ we buy and eat without money
Isaiah 55:1:-Ho,everyone that thirsteth,come ye to the waters and he that hath no money:come ye buy and eat;yea come,buy wine and milk without money and without price
The price is the presence of God Tarrying in the presence of God gives power
Jesus was saying,you have not paid sufficient price of personal devotion to be able to deal with this kind of problem
Staying in God's presence by praying and fasting gives power to unlock any secret
What gives power is the presence of God
People come to God because they want something but if we will come because we love Him and we want to know Him,it bocomes a thing of joy to be with Him
Ps 16:11:-Thou wilt shew me the path of life:in thy presence is fullness of joy;at thy right hand there are pleasure for evermore
In this endtime,unspeakable trouble will arise we must learn to tarry in God's presence In the place of prayer,there is peace and strength
Isaiah 40:31:-But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength,they shall mount up wings as eagles,they shall run and not be weary and they shall walk and not faint
We need to be prepared and be ready by studing the word of God snd tarrying in God's presence
The second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ is so close
Are you Ready?
Are you born again?
Are you fully surrendered?
You cannot do it by yourself
When Jesus Christ is your personal Lord and Saviour the Holy Spirit comes in and indwells your life He will help you do all things
I pray for you to recieve strength by the power of the Holy Ghost to stand strong in faith and to be able to endure to the end in Jesus name Amen

Are you Ready
Matt 24:32,33;-Now learn a parable of the fig tree When his branch is yet tender and putting firth leaves ye know that summer is nigh (33)So likewise ye when ye shall see all these things know that it is near even at the door.
There are so many signs and things happening in the world around us to make us wake up
This is the time to draw nearer to the Lord, to know Him We can know him better through the word
Most christains dont read the bible-the word of God
The word of God is a necessity because it gives root to our faith
The bible nourishes us with principles for living
The bible is the constant rain that waters the root system of our faith
The word of God helps us to stand in faith
Rom 10:17:-So then faith cometh by hearing and hearing the word of God
The word of God is what strengthens our faith and gives us boldness to stand in the times of trouble
The word of God gives practical wisdom on how to live our life daily
There is persecution in the world today and it will spread and living your life as a christain will become more difficult
The only way to survive to the end is to load your life with the word of God in the inside of you
If you dont know Him enough now it will not easy to survive what is about to start happening
I pray the Lord to draw us to Himself to prepare us for this endtime experience
The Lord uphold you in Jesus name Amen

The Love of the Father
Text John3;16:-For God so love the world that he gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believes in him will not perish but have an everlasting life
We celebrate LOVE all over the world today
The world is desperately searchiny for love the young and the old, men and women Everyone eant to be loved
I have good News for you -God loves you God loves you unconditionally and that is why He sent His Son Jesus Christ to die on the cross of calvary for you and me
The dept of this love is measured by sacrifice
Rom 5:6-8:-For scarcely for a righteous man will one die but while we were yet sinners Jesus died
Jesus died not looking on our sin He loved us enough to die for us
John 15:13:-Greater love hath no man than this,that a man lay down his life for his friend
Jesus loves you enough to die
Do you love God?
John 14:15:-If you love me keep my commandment
The commandment of God is found in his book -the bible
This book is a compass given to us to navigate through this life
It is called the wonder book because it has done so many wonders in the life of so many people in this world
One hundred million copies are printed every year
Dont you think you should find out what is written in this book
It is the book of life
James 1:25:-But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty and continueth therein,he being not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work,this man shall be blessed in hi deed
As we celebrate love today let the word of guide us in all we do
S*x is not love The world is equating love with s*x This hath destroyed so many lives
Rom 12:1,2:-........(2)Do not let the world squeeze you into its own mold The world uses the word love to mean s*x
It is a day to show love to people God has brought into your life
There are people out there who need to be loved
One kind word,one telephone call can make all the difference Forgive those that have wronged you Send your love to them and you will feel so much love

WHAT DO YOU EXPECT?
Text John5:1-15
Key Verse John5:6:-When Jesus saw him lie and knew that he had been now a long time in that case he said unto him Wilt thou be made whole?
The pool by the sheep market lay great multitude of impotent folk,of blind halt withered waiting for the moving of the water
And a certain man was there,which had an infirmity thirty and eight years
When Jesus saw him,He knew that he had been in that case a long time
When Jesus asked him -Wilt thou be made whole?He did not have an answer
He was not expecting anything He did not believe help could ever come
The year 2022 is a year of overflow of God's blessing
What do you Expect in this new year?Jesus Christ is able! But do you believe?
Ephesians 3:20:-Now unto Him who is able to to do exceedingly abundantly above al that we ask..,....
It is the above all that we ask or think that God wants to do this year
Whatever our expectations if we abide in Christ and his word abide in you,and you shall ask what you will and it shall be done (John15:7)
To abide is to stay in communion with God and this is life's greatest treasure-Intimacy with God
Prayer is cumulative friendship with God It is communion with God
God created man for fellowship God delights to have fellowship with us
Abiding in God's presence is the essence of prayer
Most of us come to the place of prayer without any expectation
We do not believe God will anwer
The man at the pool side could not answer because he was not expevting anything
Heb 11:6-:But without faith it is impossible to please Him for he that is cometh to God must believe that He is and a rewarder of them that diligently seek him
Abiding in God's presence builds a relationship with the Lord and the presence of God creates miracles
Do not let unbelief,discouragèment and lack of expectation stand in the way of God's miracles in your life
I pray for you
-This year 2022 the Lord will meet you at the point of your need in Jesus name
-The Lord will answer you speedly in Jesus name
-The purpose of God for your life will be fullfilled The Lord will surprise you in Jesus name AmenThe Lord bless you

Tidings of Great Joy
Luke 2:10,11:-And the angel said unto them;Fear not for behold,I bring you good tidings of great joy which shall be to all peoplle (11)For unto you is born this day in the city of David a saviour which is Christ the Lord
Many people spend the month of December preparing for Christmas-shopping,redecorating their homes,buying new cars etc
Do we stop for a moment to think of the reason for the celebration
-The angel said ......I bring you good tidings of great joy
-This joy is for all people because a saviour is born today in the city of David
-We celebrate because a saviour is born just to save us-me and you He was born to suffer and die to redeem us
Rom 5:7,8:-For scarcely for a righteous man will one die:yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die
But God commendeth his love toward us in that while we were yet sinners Chist died for us
-John15:13:-Greater love hath no man than this that a man lay down his life for his friend
We rejoice because of the love of the father toward us
How do you feel when you remember that someone loves you unconditionally?Just the way you are It brings great joy to our heart
The peole of Isreal waited for their king for hundreds of years to be born in a palace with all the affulence
But Gods approach took the world by surprise and continues to amaze us thousands of years later
The king Jesus Christ was born in a stable,on a bed of straw,wrapped in a swaddìng cloth,laying in a manger(Luke 2:12)
-This king would be humble,a king for the high and lowly alike
-This king will earn the right to rule by the virtues of His life not by demanding submission
-This king would live the same human life as the people He came to rule and save
-This king's glory would be shown not in the trappings of the world but by the purity of His life
-God's decorations in Bethlehem are the decorations of the heart manifesting in the fruit of the Spirit
Gal 5:22,23:-But the fruit of the Spirit is love,joy,peace,longsuffering,gentleness,
faith,meekness,temperance against such there is no law
-It is said that the fruit of the Spirit is God's "gracelet" in our lives-small occational reflections of the presence of the Spirit of God in us as we manifest the hands of Our Lord Jesus Christ to the world:love here,service there,peace here,compassion there and kindness
-In planned and unplanned ways,we have the opportunity to tell the world about Jesus by the way we allow the Spirit of God to decorate our lives this Christmas and always
May this be your most beautiful Christmas May the decorations in your home be overshodowed by only one thing,the decoration of your heart-Merry Christmas

Text John1:1-14
How Do We Come to the Word
(1)Do not come as a duty just to k**k off daily quota
(2)Do not come to the word to master spiritual principles
(3)Do not come to the word to glean clever insight
(4) Come with a cry in your heart to see Him and know Him
(5)Come to gaze upon the majesty and mystery of this lovely one,our Lord Jesus Christ who is waiting for you behind the veil,watching to reward those pant and yearn for Him
(6)With a tiny breath of His Spirit on a single word of scripture He can set your heart racing with fresh revelation of His Power
Luke24:32:-.......Did not our heart burn within us while he talked with us by the way and while he opened the scriptures?
It is the opening of the scriptures to the thirsty soul through the power of the Holy Spirit that gives the burning heart The heart that wants to be like Jesus
If we are to know Him better, we must approach His word and behold Him there
I pray for you,the heart that will thirst for our Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord release into your life in Jesus name
The heart that will thirst to know Him more and better the Lord give unto you in Jesus name Amen
