Lagos Assembly Primary: OGUNWUYI Polls Valid Votes, Wins Alimosho Constituency 01
After the Rigors of following all due Processes of All Progress Congress Primary Election specifically, that of the Lagos State House of Assembly held, Friday 27th of May, 2022, Rotimi Ekundayo Ogunwuyi popularly known as O’Legal emerged the winner of the Alimosho Constituency 01 with 19 votes to beat other 18 contenders.
A Copy of the State Assembly Primary Result Signed by the Presiding officer, Hon Isola Ogunsola and that which was Obtained By Urban Express-News Online shows Honorable Rotimi Ekundayo Ogunwuyi Scored 19 valid Delegate votes, followed by his close contender, Hon Jimoh Orelope with fifteen 15 votes
Ogunwuyi was declared the winner by the electoral presiding officer, Hon. Isola Ogunsola with nineteen (19) votes to beat his close contender Jimoh Orelope Lukman, fifteen (15) votes and Abiodun Mafe, one (1) vote while the other sixteen (16) contenders scored zero votes each.
The poll which was free and fair was held at Mosan-Okunola Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Multipurpose Hall, started at exactly 1:30 pm with 35 total accredited voters and ended peacefully at exactly 2:45 pm.
While responding to questions after declaring the winner, Ogunwuyi said the election was a victory for Democracy.
The Legal practitioner appreciated all the party’s delegates, leaders, and all party faithful for their purposeful, steadfastness and belief in him, noting that, the interest of his constituents, Lagosians and Nigerians at large will be his paramount concern at the Lagos House of Assembly.
