To every child reading this and to the child inside all of us — today is yours.

You are full of wonder, courage, and laughter. Your dreams matter, your voice matters, and your joy lights up the world in a way nothing else can. Never let anyone dim that light or make you feel small.

May today bring you fun, love, and lots of happy memories. May you grow up in a world that protects you, listens to you, and gives you every chance to become who you’re meant to be.

Keep asking questions, keep dreaming big, keep being kind. The future belongs to you, and it’s in good hands.

A Cry for the Children

Lord, we lift up every child who has been taken from safety and love.
Hold them when they are afraid. Shield them when they are alone.
Let no harm find them, and let no lie convince them they are forgotten.

Turn the hearts of those who hold them.
Break every plan that keeps them from home.
Make a way where there seems to be no way.

For the mothers and fathers waiting through long nights,
Give them strength that does not give out.
Surround them with people who will stand with them, speak for them, and help carry the burden.
Let them know they are not unseen.

For leaders, security forces, and all who can act,
Give wisdom that cuts through confusion.
Give courage that refuses to wait.
Let justice move faster than evil.

Bring every child back—whole, safe, and free.
Restore laughter to their homes and peace to their sleep.
Let this story end in reunion, not in loss.

We trust you with what we cannot fix.
