*The Grace of Giving And Receiving*
Acts 20:35
*"I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive."*
This life resonates with give and take, what you give is what you get. As a Christian, to worship God in spirit and truth, you must master the act of giving to God.
Firstly, give Him your love because without love for God, you can't offer Him quality worship. Deut. 6:5
*"And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might."*
Secondly, worship Him, as this is our primary duty and purpose of existence; only He, deserves our worship as Jesus said to the Satan when he came to test him. God requests our hearts, the seat of intellect, emotion and will.
A true giver gladly offers his heart to God before anything else. Many have sold their souls to the devil due to worldly allurements, but only God deserves your heart. Prov. 23:26
*"My son, give me thine heart, and let thine eyes observe my ways."*
Give God your body, might and strength. Your abilities should serve God, not to be used for mischief. Remember: your body is God's temple.
Lastly, your material possessions should honour God, Who has abundance of gold and silver. Prov. 3:9-10
*"Honour the LORD with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase: So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine."* Because Hag 2:8 says: *"The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, saith the LORD of hosts."*
The law of sowing and reaping is unchanging and eternal, so be mindful of what you give and the motives behind it.
We thank God for answering our prayer upon those that were kidnapped at one of our branch CAC Oke Isegun Eruku, Kwara state for their safe returns yesterday. Our God still answers prayer, don't stop praying, your own time shall come soon. Hallelujah!
*Prayer*: Thank You God because You're the source of all good things. I ask for more grace to give to You and in return be a blessing to others, I rebuke and cast out the stingy spirit that is stopping me from receiving blessings through my giving in Jesus' Name.
As I go out this week, let Your goodness, mercy and blessings follow me with plenty testimonies, I'll end this week in praise in Jesus' mighty Name. Amen.
Good morning, have a great day and wonderful week ahead.
Shalom!
