*TOPIC: THE LAMB ON MOUNT ZION AND THE 144,000*

In today's passage, John sees the Lamb on Mount Zion with the 144,000 Jews sealed from the tribes of Israel.

This seal signifies protection distinct from the mark of the beast [666] on those who worship him.

John hears a heavenly sound like a harpist, leading a song only the redeemed can sing. The Lamp, four living creators and elders from the audience.

To be ready for Christ's return and escape coming wrath, one must leave righteously and follow the Lamp. In a world of tribulation, we should strive not to miss the rapture.

*QUESTION:* Are you making efforts to be ready for a new song like the redeemed?

*PRAYER:* Dear Lord, let not the blood of the Lamp be in Vain upon my life in Jesus' name, Amen.

*TOPIC: THE BEAST FROM OUT OF THE EARTH*

Today's text discusses the beast from the earth, representing the false prophet [16:13;19:20;20:10]. He resembles the first beast, having two lamp-like horns but speaking like a dragon.

He wields the first beast's authority and commands the earth's inhibitants to worship him, leading to the infamous mark of the beast '666', which signifies loyalty to the dragon.

Accepting this mark allows participation in the Anti-Christ's system but excludes one from the kingdom of God [cf.12:13-16]. Both the beast and dragon signify End-Time powers emerging during tribulation.

*QUESTION:* What is holding you back from giving your life to Christ before the evil days arrive?

*PRAYER:* Lord, may I be found in You before the beast takes over the Earth, in Jesus' name, Amen.

Today's passage reveals two witnesses empowered by God to prophesy during the tribulations, urging repentance and judgment in an evil age [11:1-3].

Despite attempts to harm them, they will be protected until their mission is complete [vs.4-7].

A beast will eventually kill them, leading to a frightening series of events on earth [vs.7-12]. These will be terrible days [vs.13-14].

*TEXT: REVELATION 9:1-12*
*TOPIC: SEAL OF GOD ON FOREHEAD THE ONLY WAY TO ESCAPE*

Today's reading describes the fifth trumpet and the events that follows the falling star, which opens the Abyss, unleashing locusts with a specific mandate.

Those without God's seal will endure extreme torment, seeking death in vain for five months [vv.1-12].

The only escape from this suffering is through a life dedicated to Christ.

*QUESTION:* How can anyone without Christ escape the imminent tribulations?

*PRAYER:* Grant me the grace to constantly follow you all my days, and not miss the rapture when you return in Jesus' name, Amen.

*TOPIC: THE SEVENTH SEALS AND THE GOLDEN CENSER*

As we continue in Revelation, the seventh seal opens after unsettling judgments [6:12-17].

John experiences silence in heaven for about 30 minutes while seven angels prepare to sound their trumpets.

An angel offers the prayers of the Saints on a golden altar, and God hears them, resulting in fire hurled to the earth [vs.3-5].

*QUESTION:* Do you realize that no sincere prayer will go unanswered?

*PRAYER:* Help me stay consistent in my prayers, O Lord, despite present suffering in Jesus' name, Amen.

*TOPIC: THE GREAT MULTITUDE IN WHITE ROBES*


Today's reading highlights that not only the 144, 000 from Israel will be saved during the tribulation.

John sees a vast multitude from every nation, wearing white robes and holding palm branches [v.9].

They have come out of great tribulation, having washed their ropes in the blood of the Lamb.

Our lives now are a test of loyalty and service to Him. Will we qualify for the white ropes of the righteous?

*QUESTION:* Will you strive to be among the Great multitude qualifiered for the white ropes?

*PRAYER:* Hold my hand, dear Lord, that I may follow you to the end in Jesus' name. Amen.

*TOPIC: JUDGMENT OF THE WICKED NATION*

John has been summoned to witness the judgments related to end-time events [see Chapter 4:1].

The martyrs cry out for justice in Chapter 6:9-10, and judgment will come for all saints killed throughout history.

In 7:1-3, the angels prepared to execute God's judgments are halted to protect the faithful until they receive a seal [vs.4-8].

The Holy Spirit acts as a restraining force for repentance.

*QUESTION:* would you be among those marked for protection before divine rot is unleashed?

*PRAYER:* Dear Lord, keep me safe under your grace as this wicked nation faces judgment. Amen.
