"Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!" - John 1:29
■》For the next 10 minutes center your thoughts on the Lamb—the spotless, sinless Lamb who was slain for our sake.
■》This Lamb, also a lion, roars with a voice that echoes through the ages. Have you heard of anyone attempting to tame the Lion of the tribe of Judah?
■》Like the majestic roar of a lion in the forest, the Lion of the tribe of Judah is a fiery voice to the world and beyond.
Yet, for our sake, this Lion became a Lamb, surrendering His life to redeem us.
■》Our God is both faithful and just, unable to bear the breaking of a single commandment. Yet, He is also merciful, becoming the very price we, as outright sinners, were supposed to pay.
Behold the Lamb.
■》This Lamb was not helpless; He willingly chose to die for our sake. Fully aware of the pain that awaited Him, He made the ultimate sacrifice.
Behold the Lamb: for your worth is found in His sacrifice.
■》Nothing should diminish your essence, for the Lamb deemed you worthy of redemption from sin, pain and sicknesses.
This Good Friday, reflect on the profound love that willingly endured pain for your sake. Consider how someone can love another even while experiencing hurt. 2 Corinthians 5:21.
