COMMAND YOUR MIRACLES

Mem. Verse: Mk. 9:29: “And he said unto them, this kind can come forth by nothing, but by prayer and fasting”.

Reading: Matt. 17:19 -21; 21: 21 -22.

A brother from Bauchi, Nigeria, sent a text to me early this year: “Pastor, tell me how I can pray so that things can begin to happen in my life?”
Everyone is surrounded by mountains. Mountains are hindrances. Sickness is a mountain that wearies your ability to act. Some sickness are so serious that we need to learn new ways of praying before they can go away. This was what Jesus was telling His disciples in the passages we read (Matt. 17: 19-21 and Mk. 9:29).
How you see and respond to your mountain matters. As a soldier of Christ, learn to confront your mountain. The first step in this combat is to remove unbelief. Next, declare a fast and follow it with mountain removing prayers, which I call command of faith. Through command of faith, you can command things to happen. This is the technique Jesus used in dealing with the fig tree, and it dried up. When you give the command of faith, things will begin to happen.
By command of faith, you are exercising the authority that Christ has given you (Matt. 19:18). By command of faith, you can command your day to obey the will of God for your life. Like the great prophets (Moses, Elijah, and Elisha), you can command things to happen (Gen. 14:15; 2 Kgs. 1:10; 2:14). By command of faith, the disciples used the name of Jesus to command those who were bound by sickness to get up and the lame to stand on their feet and walk. You can also command demons to come out of their hidden places, and they will obey your voice (Ps. 18: 44- 45).

COMMIT YOUR WAY TO GOD

Mem. Verse: Ps. 37:5: “Commit thy way unto the Lord, trust also in him and he shall bring it to pass.”

Reading: Mk. 11:24; Is. 62: 6-7.

A sister sent me this text, “Pastor, I am tired. I have been praying for the fruit of the womb, and I have fasted and prayed. I have gone for deliverance, but nothing is happening. Right now, I find it difficult to pray. Please pray for me”. It is good to be desperate as we pray, but remember that when you are too desperate and anxious for result, you can pray yourself out of faith like this sister. When you have prayed about your need and keep on praying as if you do not believe what God has promised, you are praying yourself out of faith.
Yes, we encourage you to pray until something happens (PUSH), but if you have prayed and the answer does not come immediately, it means that God wants you to learn a lesson in faith and patience. Some people pray mechanically with little or no faith. It is like cooking soup without the ingredients. Faith is the ingredient of prayer. Without faith, we can not please God. When God is not pleased, there would be no answer to prayer.
Learn to pray the prayer of the committal. The Bible says, “commit your way to the Lord, trust also in Him, and He shall bring it to pass" (Ps. 37:5). If God keeps you waiting, do not give up. You can pray a prayer of reminder at regular intervals. Hand over the matter to God. Tell Him that you are still waiting and believing in Him for an answer. Thereafter, begin to praise Him and thank Him as if you have received an answer (Mk. 11:24).
To commit a matter to God is to surrender to Him (cf. 1 Pet. 5:7). Then you hold your peace. Don't fret or worry about it. Your faith must never slack; let it be high every day. God will not answer because of the number of times you have fasted or prayed but because of the level of your faith and total surrender.

PRAISE & WORSHIP

THE MESSAGE:
David, immediately after he was anointed, received his first assignment in the palace – to play the harp to make Saul feel better. Afterwards, Saul appointed
him as captain over a thousand men. Scripture records that David behaved himself wisely (1 Samuel 18:5, 14-15).Saul began to harbour animosity towards David after he killed Goliath because Saul thought David was out to take over his kingdom.

As a result, he began to actively find ways of killing David. Saul tried at least twice to pin David to the wall with the javelin in his hand but David escaped. David informed Jonathan, Saul’s son, of his father’s plans and his need to escape. He eventually ran away from the palace to save his life. David went into the wilderness and became captain over a band of worthless men.

They roamed the bushes because they could not enter the city for fear of Saul. One would have expected David to kill Saul who had made him a fugitive in his land. But that wasn’t the case. Twice, in 1 Samuel 24 and 1 Samuel 26, David, cut of loyalty, refused to kill Saul or allow his men to. He looked beyond the
man’s failings and still honoured the oil on his head.

Even after Saul and his sons were killed in battle, David did not gloat, he genuinely mourned his master (2 Samuel 1:17-27).Beloved, I encourage you to learn from David. First, you need to be unshakably loyal to God, then, to His people. It is possible for your pastor or your leader to offend you despite his anointing but please, allow God to be the judge and the Righteous Judge would not fail you.

Do not join the group of people who speak ill of or attack men of God. Allow God to be the judge over His church. May the Lord grant you understanding, in Jesus’ name.

17 LORD, thou hast heard the desire of the humble: thou wilt prepare their heart, thou wilt cause thine ear to hear:
18 To judge the fatherless and the oppressed, that the man of the earth may no more oppress.

MESSAGE
Today, I will conclude the teaching I started two days ago by discussing humility as another way of attracting God's help.

Today's Bible reading makes us understand that God listens to the desires of the humble and delivers them from every form of oppression. This means that if you want God to arise for your help in any area of your life, you must be in a state of total surrender to Him. Romans 12:1 says, "I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service". When you present your body as a living sacrifice to God, it means that you have surrendered completely to Him, and He now has total control over your life.

In 2 Kings 5:11-12, Naaman was about to lose his miracle because of pride. He felt that a man of his social and financial status should be treated in a special way. If not for the fact that his servants advised him to obey the prophet of the Lord by dipping himself in River Jordan seven times, he probably would have died as a l***r.

Child of God, whenever you come before your heavenly Father, do not consider whatever wealth or achievements you might have. Rather, you should always approach the Almighty God in total surrender so you can receive His help. I have walked with God for some decades now, and one of the things I can say about Him is that He hates pride. In fact, He said in James 4:6 that He resists the proud but gives grace to the humble. This tells us that God is always quick to help the humble. David's humility made him enjoy God's help countless times in his lifetime. He never argued with God; rather, he saw himself as a mere work of creation before Him (Psalm 8:4). As a result, God continued to help him until he died at a good old age, full of riches and honour (1 Chronicles 29:28).

Beloved, if you want God to arise for your help, you must surrender your life totally to Him. You must acknowledge Him as the Owner and Controller of your life, and when you go before Him in prayers, you must totally disregard your social or financial status. With utmost humility in your heart, make your requests known to God, and I can assure you that He will arise and help you, even beyond your wildest imagination.

KEY POINT:
Pride is a major hindrance to attracting God's help.

For believers, wherever they find themselves, serving the Lord does not start and end with just the work of the ministry or worship that we do in the church or church activities. It can be as simple as doing your job or business, helping a neighbour, or taking care of your family. When you approach these tasks with a mindset of joy and gratitude, you are serving the Lord with gladness. Every time you face a mundane or challenging task, you can say to yourself, "This is an opportunity to serve God." It is about having a heart of worship in the everyday moments, not just during formal church services. It is about being grateful to God for giving you the grace and opportunity to add some value wherever you are.

Our Fire Scripture says whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not just for your boss or leader, since you know that you will receive a reward from the Lord for everything you do. Remember, the Bible says in Romans 14:12: "So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God." It means that everyone will be held accountable to God for their actions and decisions, no matter where and how. This passage is emphasising the kind of attitude with which we should serve: wholeheartedly, as if we are serving the Lord directly, not just people. Therefore, we need to turn the ordinary moments of our day into acts of joyful service to God. For example, while cooking dinner or working in your office, you have to serve with joy instead of seeing these activities as household or administrative chores. You need a heart of joy to serve faithfully and successfully anywhere and in any capacity to please God and be blessed by Him.

*COMMAND YOUR DAY*
*Monday, April 27, 2026*

*LET GOD FIGHT THE MONSTERS*

*Mem, Verse: Ps. 34: 19:* “Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivereth him out of them all.”

*Reading: Job 40:15-24; 41: 1-10.*

Out of the whirlwind of trial and affliction, God is appearing to someone this early morning. God is saying to you, “Face the truth about the monsters in your life. You can not handle them; trust Me, for I am the only One who can”. Job thought that he knew everything about his problem until God appeared to him, and he conceded defeat (Job 38: 1 - 42:6). God showed two monsters to Job: the Hippopotamus (Behemoth) and the Crocodile (Leviathan). He challenged Job to tackle these monsters if he had the wisdom and courage to do so.
These two monsters represent life's problems, which Job was facing at that time. The hippopotamus is a merciless animal; it destroys everything on its way. No man, not even Job could handle the hippo except the Lord Himself. The Leviathan or Crocodile represents the demonic teeth, which the devil flashes at God's children to put fear into them. Its confidence is in its natural armor, which is the thick scaling skin.
The two monsters symbolize problems that are too big for the Christian to handle. Only God can win a battle against life's monsters. Are you cracking your head like Job, trying to unravel the mystery of your life's monsters? God says that you should leave them for Him to handle. When God appears over your situation, you will know that God can do all things. He is all powerful. God has a plan or solution for all your present suffering. He is standing beside you with a sword in His hand to deliver you at the right hour. Though you can not stand against the hippo or the crocodile, you can stand still and see the salvation of the Lord. God shall fight for you.

*PROPHETIC COMMAND (MORNING AND NIGHT)*
*Worship! Praise!! Thanksgiving!!!*

1. I thank You, Lord, for when I cry to You, my enemies will turn back in Jesus' name.
2. The Lord is for me, I trust Him to fight my battles for me, in Jesus' name.
3. O Lord, appear in my situation, for I can not help myself, in Jesus’ name.
4. Every monster, waiting to swallow me up, shall die of hunger in the name of Jesus.
5. Leviathan Spirit, in my foundation, your time is up die by fire, in the name of Jesus.
6. By Your power, O Lord, take away the confidence of my enemy, in the name of Jesus.
7. O Lord, show Yourself mighty in my situation, and Your glory shall reign forever, in Jesus' name.
8. By Your sword and fire, O Lord, destroy the piercing serpent, the Leviathan that pursues me to destroy me, in Jesus' name.
9. Against the enemies of my life, O Lord, turn my weakness into strength and my fear into their terror, in Jesus' name.
10. O Lord, turn my life's monsters into ladders of promotion, in the name of Jesus.
