RESPOND IN FAITH
Genesis 24:5,7 KJV
[5] And the servant said unto him, Peradventure the woman will not be willing to follow me unto this land: must I needs bring thy son again unto the land from whence thou camest? [7] The LORD God of heaven, which took me from my father's house, and from the land of my kindred, and which spake unto me, and that sware unto me, saying, Unto thy seed will I give this land; he shall send his angel before thee, and thou shalt take a wife unto my son from thence.
A careful study of the life of Abraham will help a believer to understand faith and the need to live by faith. The delay in having a child was not meant to punish him but to build a life of faith where you know that all things are possible. He lived out the possibilities in God despite the situation he found himself that looked like there was no hope.
Romans 4:18-19 KJV
Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations; according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be. [19] And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sara's womb.
The servant of Abraham doubted the possibility of getting a woman who will desire to come to Canaan to settle with Isaac from the Ur of Chaldea and made this known to Abraham. Instead of considering that possibility, Abraham responded in faith by saying that God will send an angel to connect the servant with the right woman which eventually happened. He did not allow the opinion of the servant to sink into him but spoke based on the knowledge of the God he served which gave him the right testimony eventually. The happenings thereafter showed that God responded to his faith as the right lady went to the well at the time the servant requested as you read further in this same chapter.
Beloved, could it be that any of your desire from God did not come to pass because you responded in doubt when you were discussing with family and friends. Could it be that most of the time you allow the doubt of people concerning what God planned for your life to affect you, thereby losing out in the package of destiny. As you read this today, everything can take a new turn if you decide to respond in the ability of God to back you up and give you testimony over whatever you desire of Him that is meant to bring glory to His name. People have their mouth to speak and their heart to doubt but you must not allow the knowledge of others to change your knowledge about God. Speak in the direction of what you have read and know of God and not what a man tells you about God. He may be speaking out of his sinful or doubting experience but you should stand on your own faith-full experience.

1. Lord, I receive grace to stand in faith at all times.
