THE INCORRUPTIBLE KING IN HIS GLORY

BIBLE READING: EXODUS 24:15-18; LEVITICUS 9:6,23; 1KINGS 8:10-11

“For the Earth shall be full of the Knowledge of the Glory of God as the waters covereth the sea." Isaiah 11:9(KJV)

We are in the Days of His Glory and one thing that characterizes this Kingdom Age is the Manifestation of the Glory of God. Men are going to literally carry His Glory in an unusual dimension far more than the Early Church experienced because Heaven is about to do a Quick Work (Amos 9:13). It is going to be a combination of the Former and the Latter Rain (Hos. 10:12; Joel 1:13-14; Joel 2:12-32). It is imperative to note that the First Key for every Divine Visitation is Heartfelt Repentance. However, if we are going to carry the Glory of God tangibly, we must understand that there were three things which are symbolic which were found in the Ark of the Covenant that made the Glory of God to continually rest on it:
1. The Golden Pot of Manna: (Ex. 16:32-34; Jn. 6:30-35) Manna signifies the Rhema Word of God. God and His Word are One. In other words, if you are full of Revelational Knowledge, then you are full of God Himself (Jn. 1:1,14). If we are going to carry God in these Last Days, then we must constantly be in touch with Revelation because there is a fresh manna for every day. It is for this reason the Scripture admonishes us to be rich in the Word *(Col. 3:16).
2. Aaron’s Rod that budded: (Num. 17:1-10): It simply means that God makes His Choice in men, hence the Bible declares that many are called but few are chosen (Matt. 20:16). Simply put, God determines the Calling while man determines the Choosing. There is always a price for Divine Election.
3. The Tablets of Stone: (1Kgs. 8:9-11; Jer. 31:31-34) These Tablets of Stone upon which the Ten Commandments were written represent Kingdom Values in our hearts (attitudes of the heart) preached by the Lord Jesus during the Sermon on the Mount. (Matt. 5:3-13; 1 Cor. 13:1-18; Jer. 9:23-24).

Men that would experience and carry the tangibility of God’s Presence are those men that stand in His Counsel, men of revelation who are willing to pay the Price for Divine Election and that cultivate the right attitudes of the heart which are Kingdom Values. In order to become carriers and custodians of His Glory, we must be men who are willing to avoid three major things i.e., Ignorance, (Hos. 4:6) Unfaithfulness (Prov. 25:19) and a lack of Moral Values (Ps. 45:6-7). The Lord help us with this solemn responsibility... Selah.

PRAYER:

Heavenly Father, please help us to be part of this Last Days Move of God. Please give us a heart like Yours and enable us manifest Your Glory to our generation in Jesus' Mighty Name. Amen

JESUS THE PRINCE OF PEACE

BIBLE READING: ISAIAH 9:6; REVELATION 1:5; ACTS 5:31; LUKE 2:14

“For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given and the Government shall be upon His Shoulder, and His Name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The Mighty God, The Everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace” Isaiah 9:6(KJV).

One of the Names or Titles of the Lord Jesus is “Prince of Peace.” He is the Only Person Who gives Peace to our hearts, family, community and the Nations. The Scriptures talk about the Peace of God that passeth all understanding through Christ Jesus our Lord (Phil. 4:6). There is an Inward Peace and Serenity that comes into our hearts when we as Christian believers have fellowship with Jesus and walk in His Will (Jn. 14:27). In other words, a life of fulfillment comes through daily Intimate Communion with the Holy Spirit and living a life of purpose. A songwriter once said, “There is no other way to be happy (Peace) in Jesus but to trust and obey.” When Jesus is in your boat, you will experience Rest and Peace even in the midst of the storm (Mk. 4:39; Jn. 16:33). The world is troubled from every side with violence, wars, etc. because they have not embraced the Prince of Peace but rather they have rejected His Gospel.

Don’t be deceived by the so-called peace and security that the world offers. The Bible declares: "For when they say, “Peace and safety,” then sudden destruction comes upon them, as travail upon a woman with child and they will not escape" 1Thess. 5:3(KJV). This is one of the major reasons why the Gospel of the Kingdom must be preached unto all nations because it is the Gospel that guarantees global peace and security in our lives, families, communities and nations. In conclusion, the Lord Jesus said in clear terms to His followers: "Come unto Me all you that labour and are heavy laden and I the Prince of Peace (Paraphrased) will give you Rest (Peace)" Matt. 11:28(KJV).

PRAYER:

Heavenly Father, we thank You for the Gift of Your Son Jesus Christ the Prince of Peace. Please help us to maximize this Precious Gift in affecting our world unto global peace and security in Jesus' Mighty Name. Amen.

EXPERIENCING THE MOST HIGH GOD

BIBLE READING: GENESIS 14:18-20; PSALM 7:17; LUKE 1:26-38

"And the angel answered and said unto her “The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the Power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that Holy Thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God” Luke 1:35 (KJV).

The Lord God Almighty Himself dwells in an Exclusive Class of His Own. Amongst His Most Notable Characteristics, one of them is His Omnipotence which is expressed through several of His Names (Ps. 138:2). One of such Names is El Elyon (translated from the Hebrew "the Most High God"). The fact that this Holy Name transcends all superlatives is self-explanatory.

No rival throne survives with the Lord God Almighty. Just before the Exodus of the children of Israel from the land of bo***ge to the Promised Land, He executed judgment on all the gods of Egypt (Ex. 12:12) simply because He could. The reason He could actually do this was as obvious as it gets: They were not and could never be on His Level no matter how hard they tried. The Holy Scriptures never refer to Him as "the Highest." For the sake of clarity, the phrase "the Highest" is from the Greek word "hupsistos" which literally means "Most High". (Lk. 1:32, 35). In other words, calling Him the Highest would be tantamount to making Him "Primus inter pares" or First amongst equals whereas He has none.

After killing thirty thousand Israelites (including Hophni and Phineas, the sons of Eli the chief priest) capturing the Ark of God, the Philistines made the biggest mistake of setting it right next to their principal god Dagon but got a rude shock the following morning: Their god lay prostrate before the God of Israel Who has no rival (1Sam. 5:1-4) before later getting beheaded. They had to learn this the hard way: There's none higher than the Most High. Blessed be the Name of the Lord, El Elyon Himself.

PRAYER:

Heavenly Father, we thank You for being the Most High God in our lives and over all that concerns us. There's none to be compared with You hence we give You all the Glory, Honour and Adoration in Jesus' Mighty Name. Amen.
