A covenant activates responsibility, transfers weight and attracts support. You stop moving and carrying life alone but with divine backing and partnership. Heaven becomes invested in your journey, battles and outcomes. This is why some advance effortlessly with unusual ease and speed while others struggle endlessly with little or no results.

‎Activate a covenant with God to get both the visible and invisible realm aligned to help you define your year with structures and purpose to advance your destiny

God does not respond to mere wishes and good intentions; He responds to covenants. What many call “luck” is often alignment. When a year begins without God, you spend days, weeks and months repairing what should have been ordered and secured. Time, efforts, resources and opportunities slipped off unaccounted for. It becomes a year of struggle, confusion and misalignment instead of being of clarity, speed and significance.

Go through your year under the atmosphere of divine coverage.

Every year is shaped before it is lived. Battles are won or lost at the altar, not the calendar. If you don’t define the year spiritually, circumstances will. Covenants don’t follow time—they command it.

God has much more to give men than the fleshy or natural life. In fact, in the eye of God, those who have only the fleshy life are dead. It is only those who have been given the spirit life that are passed from death to life. In this book, the problem of a Christian’s life being different from th....

Msg. Luke 11:20-26. Be Tankfull of God 2 by Percy
[Prayer ministration]
Sun 22 Jan 2023

Opening Worship song:
Choir: Emmanuel, Emmanuel, Emmanuel, your name be praised

Percy: Emmanuel, let's praise, thank and worship the LORD. He is: 1. Emmanuel, God that is {presently, not was past} with us, Jehovah, "God that is with thee". Before now, He had been El or God for the fathers, for Abraham, for Isaac, for Jacob. For Moses, He said, He is "God that is with thee" or JOd hEH VAh Heh, shortened as JEHOVAH. Also, for Isaiah.

Worship Him because He is not only with us, He is 2. the Spirit that is able to be in us, to displace contrary spirits messing up the lives of men. Worship Him, He is God that lives literally in men.

You see, God's plan is not only to be for us, to be with us and to be in us but 3. to be full in us and be through us. His plan is not only that we have Him inside of us but that we be filled or full of Him to the point that He operates through us, {as man Jesus was filled with the fullness of God}. Infact, we can all come unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ, Eph 4:13, practically growing up into Him {by speaking, or lending your mouth to the Holy Spirit to speak through}, Eph 4:15. Hear Paul praying for the Ephesians in Eph 3:14-19: That he would grant you, to be strengthened by his Spirit in the inner man, v16; to be indwelt by Christ by faith, to be rooted and grounded in love, v17; to comprehend what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height {of God}, v18; And to know the love of Christ, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God, v19!

Worship Him, He wants to be full in you.

Our problem is many of us are still heir - children. That is why we are tossed up and down by wiles of devils. We must not mind being crucified. Crucification is by thorns, nails and harsh passage, not by palatable situations. Paul's "crucify" in Gal 2:20 refers to the "thorn" he was being subjected to in 2 Cor 12:7 in which he, like our lord under thorning crown and piercing nails, must remain inhabited by the LORD. The heir child, one not matured or grown spiritually and therefore suffering through life, is not different from a servant, Gal 4:1-2. He can’t live the life of an heir because he sees himself as a flesh / natural man and is yet to learn and put to practise God’s language to speak. He is still speaking the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, instead of that which the Holy Ghost teacheth, comparing spiritual things with spiritual unlike 1 Corinthians 2:13, and thus, cannot let God in him be full and operate through him.

Song:
Every knee must bow, every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is the LORD. Halleluyah, Jesus is the LORD x2 Jesus Christ is the LORD

We want to pray now but learn this Word Perspective first:
God is the Spirit that is able to be in us, displacing contrary spirits messing up our lives
Brethren, the World you and I are living in is a Space of spirits traversing and looking for men to claim as their house of flesh, Luke 11:20-26; Matthew 12:28‭-‬30‭, ‬43‭-‬45 KJV. It is a spiritual World. From the time that Adam and Eve fell, eating a fruit which content is super knowledge (god or darkness - I call it witchcraft) and death or eternal separation from God, the good Spirit, contrary spirits have been indwelling men. Every son and daughter of men born into this World thus became inhabited by evil spirits and are their houses thereby requiring God himself to come down to begin to enter in to chase out these spirits from them to free them. Brethren, if Christ has not yet entered into you, you are still a captive of spirits. Every man needs to check himself or herself to find out who is actually occupying him or her, whether it is God or devils. Brethren, check yourself: who is in me? Too many of us are playing Church. We know it is not the Spirit of God that is in us yet we join them to say we are Christians, we are believers! James says even the devil believes and trembles! Jesus says, by their fruit, ye shall know them, Matt 7:16,20. What is happening in the World today clearly proves that many are not Christians. Many are wolves in sheep's clothing though inside the Church; too many weeds posing as wheats; too many thorns masquerading as grapes; and too many thistles as figs. They are all around stylishly corrupting and making the few born of God's still child heirs to break His Word, Luke 16:8; 9:24; 10:3; Matt 7:15-16; 10:16. We must first purge ourselves of darkness and be born of God and begin a life of God in which ultimately God will opersye through us.

Prayers
1 Thank Jesus Christ for the Kingdom of God that is now in the midst of men. God is: 1 for you, 2 with you, 3 in you, 4 through you. Appreciate Him.

2 Thank Jesus Christ for being there to save men from devils, unclean spirits and strongmen

3 Thank Him for all it took Him to perform this feat: song: Lord, I lift your name on high, Lord, I love to sing your praises, I'm so glad you reign in my life, I'm so glad you came to save me: You came from heaven to earth to show the way, from the Earth to the Cross my debt you paid, from the Cross to the Grave, from the Grave to the heaven, Lord I lift your name on high

4 Say, LORD, I cry to thee afresh, come into my life and deliver me from strangers in me.

5 The mad man of Gergesia ran to meet Jesus. Say, Jesus, I bring myself to you, I look unto thee like that Gardarene, like Priest Nicodemus, please, save and deliver me from the devil.

6 Say, Father, I am here, even if I have not come for you, please, come for me. It was Jesus that went to the woman by the well of Jacob, it was he that passed by blind bartheneus. It was he that went to Saul of Tarsus, etc. Father, pls come for me right now.

7 Father, please, enter Nigeria afresh and rid us of devils for they and their beasts are on rampage in Nigeria more than before.

8 Idols are actually devils, 1Cor 10:20, inhabiting graven images such as wood, iron, cloths, etc while still possessing the bodies of their victims and their lands, rivers and air, killing, stealing and destroying. Say, Father, wherever devils are hiding around me to steal, kill and destruy, locate now and destruy.

Like Paul in Ephesus, Acts 19:19,23-41, Pray same for Nigeria. Say, Father, destroy all the shrines, trees, forests, rivers, lands, air, wooden images ) structures , cloths, rings, curious Arts and Acts, etc harbouring devils or strongmen tormenting this nation

9 God the owner of all men is losing both the ones being killed avd those killing them who are in turn killed by the devils. Say, Father, chase out those unclean spirits or strong men from our people and our lands, water and air, to end their siege and destruction. Help your missionaries, especially those in the North. Help us here too to evangelise men. Empower us to work with you: put in us your own mind, mouth and might in our bodies.

10 Brethren, too many people are made to leave this Earth by these havocs without making it to Heaven. Anyone whose time is made to expire and who leaves without having been saved from death's death has perished, Luke 13:1-9; John 11:1-45. It is not just today that houses have been falling on men or that men's blood are being sacrificed to devils, or that sicknesses have been killing people, What is more important is who such fate meets inside of you, spirit of God or unclean spirits, and whether sleep or death's death. Jesus says they that suffer such fate losing the Earth and losing Heaven are no worse sinners but those who merely misused their opportunity of time unlike dead Lazarus. Say, Father, hellp me to let your Spirit remain in me at all times ie all day and every day, so that if and when I leave or am made to leave, I will be with you like Paul, Phil 1:20-24.

Conclusion
Let's begin to bring our prayers to a close. As you have prayed God, so will He do for you and cause you to grow up to Him and operate through you, amen

NEHEMIAH (Part 23)
{By Percy}

Text: Nehemiah 11:1-36
[Emphasis on the first 24 verses]

Nehemiah 11:1‭-‬24 KJV: And the rulers of the people dwelt at Jerusalem: the rest of the people also cast lots, to bring one of ten to dwell in Jerusalem the holy city, and nine parts to dwell in other cities. And the people blessed all the men, that willingly offered themselves to dwell at Jerusalem. Now these are the chief of the province that dwelt in Jerusalem: but in the cities of Judah dwelt every one in his possession in their cities, to wit, Israel, the priests, and the Levites, and the Nethinims, and the children of Solomon's servants. And at Jerusalem dwelt certain of the children of Judah, and of the children of Benjamin. Of the children of Judah; Athaiah the son of Uzziah, the son of Zechariah, the son of Amariah, the son of Shephatiah, the son of Mahalaleel, of the children of Perez; And Maaseiah the son of Baruch, the son of Col–hozeh, the son of Hazaiah, the son of Adaiah, the son of Joiarib, the son of Zechariah, the son of Shiloni. All the sons of Perez that dwelt at Jerusalem were four hundred threescore and eight valiant men. And these are the sons of Benjamin; Sallu the son of Meshullam, the son of Joed, the son of Pedaiah, the son of Kolaiah, the son of Maaseiah, the son of Ithiel, the son of Jeshaiah. And after him Gabbai, Sallai, nine hundred twenty and eight. And Joel the son of Zichri was their overseer: and Judah the son of Senuah was second over the city. Of the priests: Jedaiah the son of Joiarib, Jachin. Seraiah the son of Hilkiah, the son of Meshullam, the son of Zadok, the son of Meraioth, the son of Ahitub, was the ruler of the house of God. And their brethren that did the work of the house were eight hundred twenty and two: and Adaiah the son of Jeroham, the son of Pelaliah, the son of Amzi, the son of Zechariah, the son of Pashur, the son of Malchijah, And his brethren, chief of the fathers, two hundred forty and two: and Amashai the son of Azareel, the son of Ahasai, the son of Meshillemoth, the son of Immer, And their brethren, mighty men of valour, an hundred twenty and eight: and their overseer was Zabdiel, the son of one of the great men. Also of the Levites: Shemaiah the son of Hasshub, the son of Azrikam, the son of Hashabiah, the son of Bunni; And Shabbethai and Jozabad, of the chief of the Levites, had the oversight of the outward business of the house of God. And Mattaniah the son of Mica, the son of Zabdi, the son of Asaph, was the principal to begin the thanksgiving in prayer: and Bakbukiah the second among his brethren, and Abda the son of Shammua, the son of Galal, the son of Jeduthun. All the Levites in the holy city were two hundred fourscore and four. Moreover the porters, Akkub, Talmon, and their brethren that kept the gates, were an hundred seventy and two. And the residue of Israel, of the priests, and the Levites, were in all the cities of Judah, every one in his inheritance. But the Nethinims dwelt in Ophel: and Ziha and Gispa were over the Nethinims. The overseer also of the Levites at Jerusalem was Uzzi the son of Bani, the son of Hashabiah, the son of Mattaniah, the son of Mica. Of the sons of Asaph, the singers were over the business of the house of God. For it was the king's commandment concerning them, that a certain portion should be for the singers, due for every day. And Pethahiah the son of Meshezabeel, of the children of Zerah the son of Judah, was at the king's hand in all matters concerning the people.

INTRODUCTION
In the last part of this series, we examined what a covenant
is [Percy: a solemn (sincere or serious agreement with responsibilities. We learnt also], the responsibility and blessing of a covenant child of God [Percy: And the need for those in covenant with the LORD to keep their own end of the bargain.] Today as we continue in our studies, may the Holy Spirit open our hearts of understanding to His word in Jesus Name.

1 BY CHOICE OR APPOINTMENT
[Percy: Much business by reason of their new sworn Covenant is required at the holy city and hence there was the need to have men both by lots (appointment) and by willingness (one's choice) to dwell in the city alongside the rulers to carry out the work of God, v1-2.] The work of God suffers reproach and setback today because there are very few men (people) who are willing to surrender themselves for the 'great commission".

But God is looking for men (and women) who are ready and willing to lay down their lives for the course of the kingdom as the "Harvest is truly plenteous but labourers are few". [Percy: This is because there is always a Record with the LORD wherein all things - the Work and the Labourers- are written: Here, we see Nehemiah record again those who participated in the work up to their genealogies, and the works done. Some were Overseers and deputies, v9, 14, 22,:one was ruler over the house of God, v11, some were workers in the house, v12, some Levites were for outward business, v15-16, some were to do Thanksgiving during prayers, v17, some were porters v19, some were singers v22-23, one was at the king's hand to manage the people, v24, others were sent to outside cities v25-36. The Work is much and we ought to lay down our lives or sacrifice to take up the works for Him, 1 Jn 3:16. We must be Willing, 2 Cor 8:12]

Will you be one of those who will say today "Here am I oh
Lord send me:'? Isa. 6:8

Neh. 11:1-3, Mt. 9:37, Isa. 6:8, Mk. 16:15-16, Mt. 28:19-
20, Jn. 15:16, Mt. 20:16, Jos. 24:15, Deut. 30:19-20, Jn,
15:13, I Jn. 3:16, 2 Cor. 8:11-12.

2 THERE IS GREAT BLESSING IN SELF SACRIFICE
[Percy: As we can see from outline 1, certain persons especially of Judah and Benjamin had to be appointed to dwell at the holy city because those willingly offering or choosing to dwell to work there were few, and these were, in turn, blessed by God through people for their sacrifice v2.] There is a great blessing and reward for those who willingly yield themselves up in obedience to do the work of God. [Percy: The Willingness leads to reward,1 Cor 9:17, even the work of Giving requires willingness, 2 Cor 9:7, Being available for services or devotion whenever called for Sundays or Midweeks requires willingness Judg 5:2, II Chro. 17:16, I Chro. 29:6-9, Pastoring or feeding of the flock also requires willingness I Pet 5:2-4]

Neh. 11:2, I Cor. 9:17, Isa. 1:19, 2 Cor. 9:7-8, Ph. 1:14, Jud.
5:2, II Chro. 17:16, I Chro. 29:6-9, II Sam. 22:47-50, I Pet
5:2-4.

Conclusion
When it comes to the work of God, do not wait to be appointed if there is a void but choose or offer willingly to take up whatever responsibilities requiring men because such pull great rewards with them. Will you be one of those who will say today "Here am I oh Lord send me:'?

And the rulers of the people dwelt at Jerusalem: the rest of the people also cast lots, to bring one of ten to dwell in Jerusalem the holy city, and nine parts to dwell in other cities. And the people

Jesus, Jesus how I love you

Text: Luke 15:17-24
And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father's have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger!
I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee,
And am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired servants.
And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him.
And the son said unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in thy sight, and am no more worthy to be called thy son.
But the father said to his servants, Bring forth the best robe, and put it on him; and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet:
And bring hither the fatted calf, and kill it; and let us eat, and be merry:
For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found. And they began to be merry.

Msg. Luke 15:17-24. Be Tankfull of God by Percy

Introduction
We have heard how we start a year determines how we end it. It is also true that how one ends a year determines how one starts the next. One key way to prepare in advance for the coming year is to be full of the One blessing us with the time - full of his great thoughts, great Word, great works, great future and great patience for us. You are a tank - the real you is inside there and needs to be filled up with God.

Presentation
The LORD started emphasizing towards the ending of His ministry, in Luke 13 from verse 1 that men must not misunderstand the opportunity of time to mean they are okay without Him: that our still being around is due solely to Him and He has reason for it and expects us to find it, which is to get salvation from Him. Those who have gone, those Galileans used for rituals and those in Siloam on whom the Tower fell, are not worse than us, nor are we better than them. It is just that they had used up the time allotted them by the One that allots time, misunderstanding the opportunity of time granted them refusing to run after Him to save them from their sins before their time finished. In John 11 at the house of dead Lazarus, as the Jews wept for him, the LORD wept for them because the Lazarus they were weeping for had used his opportunity of time to get salvation from Him before sickness and its death came to him. Infact, he died waiting for the LORD against all odds. No wonder the LORD though coming four days late commanded his grave to be opened and gave just thanks before calling him forth. As the year ends, use your time to get salvation and secure it if you already have it and not allow any sickness or any hardship or enjoyment to sn**ch it from you. Beggar Lazarus despite his poverty and illness made it to the mansion in heaven called Abraham's bosom. Nothing should stop us.

In our key text, Luke 15:17-24, The Father's younger son who had misunderstood his opportunity of time with the Father, never thanking for being a son to Him, rejecting the Father's Word of Restrictions, wanting freedom to live all by himself thereby travelling far away from Him to his peril, suddenly, towards the end of his sojourn, became tankfull of his father. He became preoccupied thinking of and longing for his father and returned physically to Him: {listen} After no one gave to him and ending up sent to a swine farm where he competed with the animals for food after joining himself to a man in the far country who obviously is in famine like himself, he came to himself, realizing there is a man who has overcome life challenges, is never in famine and to whom men who join themselves even as hired servants, have bread enough to eat and to spare. He realizes there is no better man than this man, and that surprisingly the man is his father from whom he separated himself, and it is time to apologize and join back to him to survive. He then physically travels and returns despite his terrible state - no food in the belly, no health, no money for transport and no good clothes, etc, and finds his father outside looking at him from afar off. He must have been the One sending those entreaties to his mind and the news of Him in that far country.

Brethren, regardless of what we are going through in this ending part of the year, God is expecting us to know that He is the good, the right, the self-sufficient and He who is helping men to have a good life and one without engaging in illegal or unrighteous activities. His name is Jesus Christ and His Word is true. We may, like the younger son, have separated from him in the beginning of the year but now in the ending, it is not too late to join with him, to apologize and to reassure Him of our readiness to walk and work with Him. Let's not mind being His servants at His "goods" business but I tell you the position He has reserved still for us is that of being like Himself i.e. a son born of Him, and not just a son or a hired servant.

One would ask: but there is another son at home with this Father, why so concerned about this son? Yes but though the one at home is a son, he is not like His father, he, having gone far away in his mind from his father. He is not in support of his father's Word of Restrictions either but only pretending to belong: he feels like His father is just using him and is not allowing him to throw some kind of party with his unserious friends! He is not even empathetic about his lost but found, dead but alive brother who has suffered greatly in the hands of people of the far country who dispossessed him and left him to die if not for their father looking out for him

Brethren, the LORD told this story after warning the Jews not to misunderstand their opportunities of time, as He journeyed towards Jerusalem, Luke 13:22-24 and after leaving a Supper party where the Pharisees were gathered and He taught them about the great Supper, and His rebuke of them attracted multitudes of the Publicans to come near to hear of the Kingdom that cares for them, Luke 14:7,16, 25. This younger son in Luke 15:11 to 32 is the Publicans while the elder son is the Pharisees. In whatever state you are, whether a Publican or a Pharisee, let's surrender truly to Him and be full of Him in our time, doing what is expected of us (to do) with the salvation we have received, and we will see ourselves falling in line. God that has given us the opportunity of time to live has done many more other things that, if only we can pay attention, are all speaking around us to lead us to Him. For example, look at His seeing us no matter how far we are, and always compassionate, wanting us to understand and be by his side and never far away and declaring jubile [total freedom, complete prosperity and fresh start] for us because there is no jubile away from him.

As the year ends, the LORD is expecting our tanks to be full of Him in our time, doing what is expected of us (to do) with the salvation we have received from Him from now onwards. Let's start this preparation for the new year by continuing as sons and daughters still with Him, the giving of thanks, praise and worship.

Thank you for setting another year before me. I give you all the glory for the opportunity of time you have so far given to me and the awareness not to misunderstand and misuse it on the ephemeral. Thank you, thank you.
