BLESSED IN CHRIST

THE WORD
Ephesians 1:3 (KJV)
"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ.”

To be blessed in Christ is far greater than material wealth or favourable circumstances. Our greatest blessings are not merely what God puts in our hands, but what He gives us through Christ—salvation, forgiveness, grace, peace, acceptance, divine access, and the hope of eternal life.

Paul says God “hath blessed us.” Our blessings in Christ are not merely future possibilities; they are present realities. As 2 Peter 1:3 declares, God has given us “all things that pertain unto life and godliness.”

Being blessed does not mean we will never face difficulties. Paul and Silas were beaten and imprisoned, yet at midnight they prayed and sang praises to God (Acts 16:25). Their circumstances were painful, but their joy remained because it was rooted in God, not their circumstances.

David declared, “Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me” (Psalm 23:4).

The blessing is not that we will never walk through the valley, but that God walks through it with us.

The elder brother in the Parable of the Prodigal Son became so focused on what his brother received that he overlooked what he already had. His father reminded him, *“Son, thou art ever with me, and all that I have is thine”* (Luke 15:31).

We can make the same mistake when we focus on unanswered prayers and forget God’s countless blessings. Today, remember what you already have in Christ: His grace, His presence, His promises, and the assurance that nothing can separate you from His love (Romans 8:38–39).

We are also blessed to be a blessing. God told Abraham, “I will bless thee… and thou shalt be a blessing” (Genesis 12:2).

You may not have everything you desire, but if you have Christ, you have the greatest blessing of all.

LET US PRAY
Father, thank You for every blessing I have in Christ. Help me to remain grateful in every season and make my life a blessing to others. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

TOTAL FREEDOM

John 8:36 (KJV)
"If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.”

There are different levels of freedom, but Jesus offers the highest—total freedom. The Bible calls it being “free indeed.” This means true, complete, and undeniable freedom—not partial deliverance or temporary relief.

Freedom is not merely a teaching; it is found in a Person—Jesus Christ. We cannot free ourselves from sin, fear, guilt, or destructive habits by human strength. Only Christ can truly set us free.

Where Jesus is Lord, liberty follows. “Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty” (2 Corinthians 3:17).

Total freedom means freedom from the penalty and power of sin, freedom from fear and guilt, and freedom from anything that keeps us from God’s purpose.

Jesus did not die to give us half-freedom. He died to make us completely free. Galatians 5:1 warns us not to become *“entangled again.”* Therefore, do not return to the habits, relationships, or environments that once held you captive.

Walk consistently in the Spirit, for “Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh” (Galatians 5:16).

Whatever area of your life still feels like bo***ge, bring it to Jesus today. The Son who sets free can break every chain.

LET US PRAY
Father, thank You for my freedom in Christ. Help me to walk in freedom from sin, fear, guilt and every bo***ge, and never return to what You delivered me from. In Jesus’ name.

AN INTIMATE MINISTRY

1 Corinthians 6:19 (NKJV)
"Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own….”

There is much misunderstanding about the Holy Spirit. Some treat Him as a mere influence, an impersonal force, or a kind of energy. Yet He is fully God—the third Person of the Trinity. He is not an “it.” He is a divine Person with will, intellect, and emotions.

While Jesus walked with His disciples as their Helper, Comforter, and Guide, He promised that after His departure another Comforter would come. The Holy Spirit is that Comforter, the *Paraclete*, the One who comes alongside to help and advocate for us. Jesus even said it was better that He go away, so the Spirit could be sent.

What the disciples could not imagine was that Jesus could only walk *beside* them, but the Holy Spirit would live *within* them. This intimate, inner ministry surpasses anything they had known. The Creator of the universe has chosen to make the heart of every believer His dwelling place.

Never reduce Him to a power or influence. A force cannot be grieved, but the Spirit can. He knows the deep things of God, leads us into truth, and is at work even now conforming us to the image of Christ.

What amazing grace that God Himself lives in us.

LET US PRAY
Lord, thank You for the gift of Your Holy Spirit. Help us to honour His presence within us, to listen to His voice, and to yield to His leading. May we never grieve Him, but walk daily in the intimacy of His fellowship, as He conforms us to the likeness of Christ. Amen.

We don't just receive power to feel something.

We receive power to DO something.

🌍 “The uttermost part of the earth” is not a decoration; it is a direction.

The power we receive is meant to take us beyond ourselves—to our communities, workplaces, schools, cities, nations, and ultimately wherever God sends us.

🗣️ Tongues is a message, not a monument.

It is not the destination. What God puts in us must find expression through our lives, our witness, and our assignment.

The goal is not falling down, but standing up and doing the work.

Power is not given merely for an experience; it is given for impact, service, and witness.

"As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love.”

John 14:1 (KJV)
"Let not your heart be troubled.”

As the Lord prepared to leave the disciples He loved, He comforted them. He knew the sorrow they would feel and the troubles they would face. He told them He was going to the Father, but would come again. Though they would no longer see Him, He would not leave them. He promised them the Holy Comforter, who would come to indwell them.

Jesus knew they would face tribulations, disappointments, pain and trials. And He showed them the way through it all: Abide in Me. Remain in Me. Keep your heart fixed steadfastly on Me.

To abide in Christ is deeper than merely finding rest. It is a decision of the heart and a daily consciousness of His presence, of resting in Him and allowing Him to live through us. It is to make Him the centre, sphere and circumference of our lives.

In sadness, He is our abiding joy. In disappointment, our abiding hope. In darkness, our abiding light. In suffering, our abiding grace. In sickness, our abiding strength. In poverty, our abiding treasure. In death, our abiding life.

Soon and very soon, we will all stand before the Lord. Until then, every passing day is a day of grace—an opportunity to draw closer to Him, lean on Him, rest in Him and, above all, abide in Him.

LET US PRAY
Lord, give me the grace to abide with you in all circumstances. Let nothing shake my faith in you in Jesus’ name.

PROVERBS 22:3 (NIV)
“The prudent see danger and take refuge, but the simple keep going and pay the penalty."

Sometimes, we are not being called to do more. We are being called to just be careful.

Be careful what you allow to influence you. Be careful what you repeat. Be careful who you listen to. Be careful what you become comfortable with. Be careful with decisions made in moments of excitement, anger, pressure or disappointment.

A careless moment can produce consequences that a sincere heart never intended.

This is why Scripture says, “Keep thy heart with all diligence” (Proverbs 4:23). Notice that the Bible does not say visit your heart occasionally. It says keep it. Guard it. Watch over it.
Because what enters the heart eventually finds expression in our words, choices, relationships and actions.

You may be strong today, but just be careful.

You may know the Scriptures, but just be careful.

You may have good intentions, but just be careful.

You may have walked with God for many years, but just be careful.

Never become so confident in your strength that you stop watching your steps. Sometimes, the safest response is silence. Sometimes, wisdom is walking away. Sometimes, maturity is refusing to react. Sometimes, protecting your peace requires you to create distance.
And sometimes, the most spiritual thing you can do is simply wait before making a decision.

We live in a world that constantly demands our attention. Voices are everywhere. Opinions are everywhere. Pressure is everywhere. But you don't have to give everything your attention.

Guard your heart. Guard your mind. Guard your words. Guard your relationships. Guard your values.

LET US PRAY
Father, give me wisdom to navigate life with discernment. Let Your wisdom guide my steps every day. In Jesus' name, Amen.
