MY STORY
This picture reminded me of how I've been serving God in my own capacity.
One day, my husband and I trekked a long distance from the house to the road - it was raining and there was no bike.
As at then, I was carrying my first son, Dan-Rhema. We suffered before reaching the church.
Service closed around 8pm and it was still raining. We passed the infamous Maraba traffic...the holdup that day was Pro Max. We managed to get to One-man village and got off the vehicle.
There is a bridge that must be crossed before getting to my house.
I was about climbing that bridge to pass, when I saw the bridge collapse right before my eyes like a piece of biscuit soaked in a cup of water.
The flood that year did a lot of hà voc. It carried away the properties and people even died🥲
Suddenly, tears flooded my eyes, and I began to thank God for saving my family. Meanwhile, we couldn't go home that night, we had to go and pass the night at my family house.
Many times I know my sacrifices of how to leave that environment to go to church. I never missed any church activities and I usually go to church five times a week for my rehearsals, weekly activities, Oilyvoice rehearsals etc. I told God that I am sold out!😀
I am that girl that grew in church and have always been there. I've served God since I was young and till date I'm still serving.
I've enjoyed peace and joy as a result of my Kingdom service to God and humanity.
Many times, even in church you will begin to ask God questions like "Why am I here, what if, how Lord"... But God is saying "follow me".
The truth is "THERE IS NO JOY OUTSIDE GOD". Keep serving God wherever you are. Your service is a seed that will eventually grow and bear fruits.
I've heard people say "I'm not suprised that you are a pastor now", I just smile. It starts with your love for God
IF YOU LOVE GOD, YOU WILL SERVE.
Have a great day!
