*SUNDAY 12TH JANUARY, 2025*

*BIBLE READING:* Exodus 5-9

*TOPIC* : *BE THAT DIFFERENCE*

*TEXT* : "And in all matters of wisdom and understanding, that the king enquired of them, he found them ten times better than all the magicians and astrologers that were in all his realm". *Daniel 1:20*

God does not count on a multitude to effect a change, He counts on a man. You can be that individual to effect the desired change to bring glory to God. You can be that difference that will project the glorious gospel of Christ beginning from where you are.

Why behave like them and expect something different to come out of you? You can be that kingdom lifestyle dress code for others to emulate. The way you carry yourself with dignity and humility can be that difference that others will see and follow suit.

The totality of you in good manners, diligence, intelligence, wisdom and understanding can be that difference to preach the gospel to others.

Daniel and his three friends stood out above others because they chose to be the difference.

They stood for their faith in God and never compromised.

They were determined to be different and disciplined their flesh to achieve their desire.

To be that difference, you must be willing to go extra miles to do what others run away from.

You must be ready to undergo temporal discomfort to achieve it as Daniel and his friends did.

Your lifestyle must be tailored towards your expectation by being disciplined.

You cannot go everywhere, eat anything, talk anyhow, have all manners of friends and be that difference that will glorify God.

*PRAYER* : "Father! My Father! As I begin to pray, empower me Lord, to pay the necessary price to be that difference.

*SATURDAY 11TH JANUARY, 2025*

*BIBLE READING:* Exodus 1-4

*TOPIC* : *GOD'S CHOICE*

*TEXT* : "And Joseph dreamed a dream, and he told it his brethren: and they hated him yet the more". *Genesis 37:5*

I have discovered that once God's hand is specially on a person, from that very moment Satan casts his eyes on that person, making him or her his target for destruction. In other words, God's choice is the devil's target. So, don't keep lamenting when he'll broke loose over you or challenges springing up one after the other against you. It is all because you are God's choice to do the unusual in your generation.

Take a look at Joseph, all he went through because God chose him to preserve His people in the future. Just because he was God's choice the devil even had to use his brothers against him to truncate God's plan in his life. He went through the pit, Potiphar's house, prison before he came to the palace. It was as if he was the only son of Jacob because of God's hand on him for a special assignment.

The truth is that God has not left His chosen at the mercy of the devil. There is also a special backing of God to keep His chosen safe irrespective of the attempts of the devil against him or her. This is the reason why no matter how he and his cohorts have schemed against the Lord's anointed or chosen, they always end up disappointed and put to shame. What they strategized always turns out working for good for the ones they schemed against. When they line up challenges, they help the Lord's choice to cultivate the lifestyle of praying, fasting and other kingdom exercises thereby growing. However the angle they come, God has planned a way of escape to keep His own safe (1 Cor. 10:13) and give him or her victory. This makes the enemies of God's choice to look like fools, always attempting, yet failing. God's choice, despite he is the devil's target is safe in the hands of God.

**TOPIC: 𝐆𝐎 𝐅𝐎𝐑𝐖𝐀𝐑𝐃*

**TEXT* : "𝐀𝐧𝐝 𝐃𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐝 𝐰𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐧, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐰 𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐋𝐨𝐫𝐝 𝐆𝐨𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐡𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐬 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐡𝐢𝐦." *𝟐 𝐒𝐚𝐦𝐮𝐞𝐥 𝟓:𝟏𝟎*

In this kingdom we are in, there's no room for retrogression or stagnation; the instruction from our commander is to 'Go forward'.

There is something always ahead to reach out to; you are not to pack up until you are out of this world.

As expressed by our anchor text, David went on and grew great, so is every child of God supposed to go from glory to glory and grow as the path of the just should (Prov 4:18).

To remain a child is an anomaly. One is expected to grow to maturity and exercise one's sonship.

No wonder scripture spelt out in Galatians 4:1, "𝐍𝐨𝐰 𝐈 𝐬𝐚𝐲, 𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫, 𝐚𝐬 𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐬 𝐡𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐚 𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝, 𝐝𝐢𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐡 𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐚 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐭, 𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐞 𝐥𝐨𝐫𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐚𝐥𝐥; Not to grow is to groan in this kingdom.

Advancement is expected in all ramifications even in speech and understanding.

𝟏 𝐂𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐬 𝟏𝟑:𝟏𝟏, " 𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐈 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐚 𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝, 𝐈 𝐬𝐩𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐚𝐬 𝐚 𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝, 𝐈 𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐚𝐬 𝐚 𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝, 𝐈 𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐚𝐬 𝐚 𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝: 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐈 𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐚𝐦𝐞 𝐚 𝐦𝐚𝐧, 𝐈 𝐩𝐮𝐭 𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐲 𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬."

You are to go forward and possess all your inheritance in Christ.

If you are conquered in one aspect, move on to also conquer the others.

God said to the Israelites in 𝐃𝐞𝐮𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐦𝐲 𝟐:𝟑, "𝐘𝐞 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐦𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐞𝐧𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡: 𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐧𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐡𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝." You also can posses all, so arise and go forward.
