When will it end?
We keep asking! The killings, the insecurities, when will it end?
Places that were once filled with sounds of Joy from children are now plagued by gunshots. Familiar roads are now are now filled with blood. When will it end?
Staying indoors does not even guarantee our safety anymore, bullets flying everywhere, no one knows who's next.
We now walk with our hearts hammering on our chest, scared if that would be the last time we would use our legs. How about the after effects? Children seeing their parents in cold blood, parents refusing to accept their kids death. The trauma cannot even be imagined.
Death is inevitable, it comes unaware.Yes but it wasn't natural, was it? Some even died with their eyes wide open, how unfortunate!
But wait, we also have a part to play, we must not grow numb, we must stand firm.
This is not the time to watch videos and sigh, we must intercede! It should not continue!
Wherever we are, let's pray. Not just for Jos, but Nigeria as a whole. If the Lord, God of host stretches His hands, who can turn it back? No one!
However, watch while praying, pass across the right information and care for those affected.
May God heal our Land.
