What a powerful and timely word we received in God’s presence today!

Rev Amanwandi took us through the bible passage that spoke of Jacob and his household who journeyed according to God’s instruction, the Lord went ahead of them and caused the fear of God to fall upon the surrounding cities. This reminds us that when we walk in obedience to God, we can trust His presence and protection.

Points to Note:

- Strange gods must be intentionally removed from the gathering of believers.

- Obedience to God’s instructions positions us under His divine covering.

- He who walks with God’s instruction has no reason to fear, because the Almighty God has gone ahead of him.

Prayers:

“Father, in the name of Jesus, we cancel every spirit of death!”

“Father, in the name of Jesus, we stand in the gap for every sick man and woman. May their healing be restored now, in the mighty name of Jesus!”

May the God who went ahead of Jacob go ahead of us this month. May His presence shield our homes, families, journeys, health and destinies in Jesus's name, Amen!

: MISSIONS SUNDAY 2026 || BREAKING THROUGH ALL BARRIERS TO MISSION || 02•08•2026

Today for Missions Sunday, Evangelist Ugochukwu Samuel reminded us of a fundamental truth: the true strength of a church has never been about how many people fill the seats on Sunday morning. It is measured by its sending capacity. God did not grant us grace, gifts, and spiritual talents just for us to keep them inside the building. They were given so we can manifest them out in the world.

The early Church was unstoppable in spreading the gospel to many nations. What made them unstoppable?

First, genuine repentance. You simply cannot stand with the devil and expect to cast him out. Second, they knew God far beyond their immediate circumstances. And third, they walked in continuous boldness through the Holy Spirit.

The Church is not defined by financial status or academic qualifications; it is defined by its transformational capacity. It is never the will of God for anyone to perish and go to hell, but that all should come into repentance.

May the fire for souls burn afresh within us. May our daily lives become living epistles of Christ, and may we never grow weary of proclaiming the Gospel until every tribe, tongue, and nation hears the good news. Amen!
