“For with God nothing is impossible.” (Luke 1:37)

Rev. Chike James reminded us today that no situation is beyond God’s power. What looks like a dead end to you is not the end with God.

Do not be weary over any situation you are facing. That same situation can still turn around. Hold on, believe, and trust God, he is still in the business of making the impossible to become possible.

It is not the will of God for anyone to go to hell… yet going to hell remains a personal choice.

Sin is the pathway that leads people there. Hell is the final destination of the unrepentant, a place with no peace, no mercy, and no second chances.

But there is a way out.

Accepting Jesus, staying rooted in His Word, and living a Christ-like life keeps you on the path of life, for Christ remains the only way, the truth, and the life.

What a powerful end to the 2026 Easter Retreat. Through powerful messages, worship and prophetic prayers hearts were realigned, lives transformed, and all barriers broken. All glory to God, it ended in praise and victory.

---
MESSAGE HIGHLIGHTS
First Speaker: Rev. Samuel Eze
Topic: Biblical Steps to Revival (Dealing with the Barriers Against Revival)
Text: Habakkuk 3:2; Isaiah 57:15; Psalm 85:6

Sin is the major barrier to revival. The sin of worrying about material things is one of the greatest sins that forms a barrier to revival.

Revival simply implies the manifestation of divine fire in one’s life, generated from a place of fervent prayers.

7 ways of dealing with barriers against revival:
* Prayer
* Fasting
* Worship and thanksgiving
* Bible reading
* Studying the Word of God on issues like fear, doubt, finance, and more
* Engaging productively in the work of God
* Do not forsake the gathering of believers

Second Message
Speaker: Rev. Michael Ogbonna
Topic: The Importance of Death and Resurrection (Wonders of the Empty Tomb)
Text: Matthew 28:1–6; John 20:6–8; Romans 10:9; 1 Cor. 15:14–15

The resurrection morning validates the authenticity of the Lordship of Jesus. 1 Cor. 15:14–17 teaches that if Christ did not rise, our faith is futile and preaching is in vain.

7 reasons for the resurrection of Jesus:
* It authenticates the identity of Jesus Christ
* It validates victory over death
* It justifies believers as righteous
* It lays a foundation for future resurrection
* It gives believers hope and new life
* It bestows the power to live for God
* It validates the Bible and prophecy

Which fruit do you bear as a child of God? Do you bear the fruit of self-control or that of anger?

Anger has destroyed many hopes. When you are provoked, learn to pause, be led by the Spirit, and respond with wisdom, not impulse. Control your emotions before they control you. Choose forgiveness, choose peace.

Our ultimate goal as Christians is to make heaven at last. No matter what you face, stay firm, stay strong, and don’t let the devil rob you of the privilege of reuniting with God on the last day.

Day 2: Evening Session|| AGC Easter Retreat 2026 || Kano District || Message Highlights

First Message
Speaker: Rev. Mrs. Godiya Ajiya
Topic: Living Above Financial Limitations (Prosperity)
Texts: Gen. 26:12–16; Deut. 8:18; John 3:1–2; Ezekiel 34:26–27

Key Points;
Poverty is a financial limitation that pushes people into bad choices, makes them feel inferior and rejected, leading to depression and frustration. It destroys families and can be passed from generation to generation. It is a condition that can be changed.

Prosperity is God’s divine plan for His children to rise above lack.

God takes pleasure in our prosperity. Deut. 8:18 teaches that He has given us the power to make wealth and expects us to be fruitful.

Examples of men God prospered in the Bible:
* Abraham
* Job
* David
* Solomon

Ways to prosperity as a Christian:
* Salvation: Matthew 6:33 teaches us to seek the kingdom of God first, and every other thing will be added
* Prayer
* Faith
* Obedience
* Giving and paying tithe
* Creativity and investment
* Open-mindedness and hard work

Second Message
Speaker: Deacon Onyebuchi Amaonwu
Topic: Holy Spirit, the Power We Need
Texts: Acts 1:8; Acts 2:1–4; Joel 2:28; Acts 8:26–27

Above all the power God has given to men, the highest power is that of the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit is the active and visible power of God in our lives.

Why we need the power of the Holy Spirit:
* Active witnessing of the gospel
* Empowerment for boldness and the manifestation of power
* Guidance and direction
* Outpouring of the gifts of God
