World Communications Sunday 2026
Theme: Preserving Human Voices and Faces

Faces of Faith. Voices of Truth.
"I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made." — Psalm 139:14 🙏🏾

These beautiful pictures from our World Communications Sunday 2026 celebration are more than just photographs — they are a testament to a community that gathered, learned, worshipped, and committed to preserving what makes us irreplaceably human in an increasingly digital world.

Look at these beautiful faces!
Every smile. Every gaze. Every expression captured in these photos is a reminder of one sacred truth —
Our faces are God's signature upon us.
Our voices are our God-given identity.
No filter can improve what God has already perfected. No algorithm can replicate the beauty of a human soul made in His image and likeness.

Fearfully made. Beautifully made. Wonderfully made.
And called — each and every one of us — to communicate that truth to the world.

The Grand Finale of our Parish ComWeek 2026 -

To close out what has been an extraordinary week, Revd Fr Dr Emmanuel Ikpekha took the floor one final time and delivered not one, not two, but three powerful themes that brought ComWeek 2026 to a truly memorable conclusion!

1️⃣ Protecting the Vulnerable Online In a world where the internet can be both a gift and a danger, Fr. Emmanuel reminded us of our sacred responsibility — to be shields, not swords in digital spaces. The vulnerable — children, the elderly, the grieving — deserve our protection, not our exploitation.

2️⃣ Agents of Communion: We are not just content creators or social media managers. We are called to be Agents of Communion — building bridges, healing divisions, and drawing people closer to God and to one another through every word we publish, share, or speak.

3️⃣ The Importance of Face to Face: 👥 Perhaps the most convicting of all — no DM, no reel, no post can ever fully replace the power of looking someone in the eyes and being present. In our rush to go digital, let us never lose the irreplaceable gift of human encounter.

Every theme landed with weight. Every heart in the programme left fuller, wiser, and more intentional about the calling to communicate for Christ.

🙏🏾 To Revd Fr Dr Emmanuel Ikpekha — thank you for pouring out so generously across ComWeek 2026. Your words will echo far beyond this week.

To every participant and supporter — ComWeek 2026 was what it was because of YOU!

ComWeek 2026 — What A Week It Was!

Revd Fr Dr Emmanuel Ikpekha
on the theme:
"My Face is God's Signature, My Voice is My Identity — Digital Empathy"

Fr. Emmanuel opened our eyes to a truth we sometimes forget in the rush of digital life — your face is not just a profile picture. It is God's unique signature upon you. Your voice is not just sound — it is your God-given identity, and it carries weight, responsibility, and dignity in every space you occupy, online and offline.

The concept of Digital Empathy hit home for every participant — reminding us that behind every screen is a human soul deserving of truth, kindness, and respect.

The joy on the faces of our participants said it all — they didn't just attend, they learned, they reflected, and they were transformed!

The anthem echoed louder the second time!
After Revd. Fr. Dr. Emmanuel Ikpekha's powerful ministration, something beautiful happened — our participants couldn't hold it in. They broke into the ComWeek 2026 Anthem once more, and this time, the joy was even more electric!

This is what happens when the Word lands deep — it moves your feet, lifts your voice, and fills the room with praise!
Watch and feel the atmosphere for yourself.

ComWeek 2026 is still ongoing! It will end on Sunday May 17 which is World Communications' Sunday.

Come and be a part of this Spirit-filled experience.
