CONDOLENCE MESSAGE
​Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un
​On behalf of the Executive Council and the entire membership of the Muslim Students' Society of Nigeria, Bayero University, Kano (MSSN-BUK), we extend our deepest condolences to Sister Habiba and her family on the passing of her beloved mother.
​May Allah (SWT) forgive her shortcomings, grant her soul mercy, and admit her into Jannatul Firdaus. May He grant the family the strength, fortitude, and patience (Sabr) to bear this irreparable loss.
​Our thoughts and prayers remain with you during this period of grief.

EXAM RELIEF: Supporting Students During Examination Period

The Muslim Students’ Society of Nigeria (MSSN), Bayero University Kano (BUK) Branch, through its Exam Relief Programme, distributed raw food items to students across the University campus, including the New Site and other areas of the campus.

We recognise that the examination period comes with significant academic pressure, while some students also face challenges in meeting their basic needs, particularly access to food. In response, MSSN BUK initiated this programme to provide meaningful support and ease, even if modestly, the burden faced by students during this demanding period.

The Exam Relief Programme reflects our commitment to student welfare, compassion, and collective responsibility. It is our hope that these food items will provide support to students as they prepare for and sit their examinations.

We sincerely appreciate everyone who contributed to making this initiative possible. May Allah reward every hand that supported the programme and grant all students success, ease, and excellent results in their examinations.

A Respectful Visit to Sheikh Abdulwahab Abdallah

The Muslim Students’ Society of Nigeria (MSSN), Bayero University Kano (BUK) BRANCH, was honoured to pay a respectful visit to Sheikh Abdulwahab Abdallah.

The delegation comprised the National Ameer, National Vice Ameer, National Secretary, National PRO, A-Zone Chairman, B-Zone Chairman, the BUK Ameer, and the BUK Executive Council (EXCOs).

The visit reflects the commitment of MSSN BUK to strengthening relationships with respected scholars and seeking guidance, wisdom, and counsel in the pursuit of excellence and service to the Muslim Ummah.

May Allah reward Sheikh Abdulwahab Abdallah for his time, wisdom, and continued contributions to the Ummah, and bless the leadership of MSSN with wisdom and success.

Are you passionate about memorizing the Hadith and deepening your connection with the Sunnah? 🌿
The Muslim Students’ Society of Nigeria (MSSN), Bayero University, Kano, in affiliation with the Center for Sunnah Studies in Africa, invites eligible BUK students to participate in the 3rd Hadith Memorization Programme (Daura).
📖 Books: Mi’atu Hadith 1, 2 & 3, Umdatul Ahkaam, and Saheehaini (Bukhari & Muslim)
📅 Daura: 31st August – 6th September 2026
⏰ Time: 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM daily
📍 Venue: Central Mosque, BUK New Site, Kano
📝 Fresh participants: Interview on Sunday, 30th August 2026, from 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM at Ummah Masjid, both campuses.
Eligibility: BUK students who have memorized the Qur’an fully or partially, possess basic Arabic communication skills, and are committed to full participation.

"Indeed, we belong to Allah, and to Him we shall return."
It is with heavy hearts and complete submission to the will of Allah (SWT) that the Muslim Students' Society of Nigeria, Bayero University Kano Branch (MSSN-BUK) extends its deepest and most sincere condolences on the passing of a beloved mother.
We pray that Almighty Allah (SWT):
Forgives her shortcomings and showers her with His infinite mercy.
Illuminates her grave and grants her Jannatul Firdaus.
Grants the entire family the strength, comfort, and patience to bear this irreplaceable loss.
Our thoughts and prayers remain with the family during this trial. May Allah reunite her with her loved ones in the highest ranks of Jannah. Amin. 🤲
