Some ugly truths of life

Comparing yourself to others is biggest waste of your precious time
It's harder to be kind than clever.
You can't make everyone happy, and if you try you lose yourself
People are curious about what you do. But that doesn't mean they really care. So don't let other people's opinions guide your life.
Be ok with people not liking you, most don't even like themselves
You will face rejections often. But that doesn't mean you're not good. Just everyone has their own place.
Life is about believing in yourself and knowing that in almost every situation others did it and were successful and you can do it too
If you want to be successful take 100% responsibility of your mistakes and stop blaming others
Time becomes more precious to you. You can never find time, you have to make it.
Life is not a linear line but a pile of tangled threads. You may feel confused from time to time but that's okay.
There are lots of things that you can't change, the only thing you can change is yourself.
Trustworthy people don't make you question whether you can trust them or not.
Letting go is always the most difficult yet the most important thing we need to learn.
Everything will change. The earlier you master the art of letting go, the easier life is to you.

Prophetic buffay

Once upon a time, a very strong woodcutter asked for a job in a timber merchant and he got it. The pay was really good and so was the work condition. For those reasons, the woodcutter was determined to do his best.

His boss gave him an axe and showed him the area where he supposed to work.

The first day, the woodcutter brought 18 trees.

“Congratulations,” the boss said. “Go on that way!”

Very motivated by the boss words, the woodcutter tried harder the next day, but he could only bring 15 trees. The third day he tried even harder, but he could only bring 10 trees. Day after day he was bringing less and less trees.

“I must be losing my strength”, the woodcutter thought. He went to the boss and apologized, saying that he could not understand what was going on.

“When was the last time you sharpened your axe?” the boss asked.

“Sharpen? I had no time to sharpen my axe. I have been very busy trying to cut trees…”

Our lives are like that. We sometimes get so busy that we don’t take time to sharpen the “axe”. In today’s world, it seems that everyone is busier than ever, but less happy than ever.

Why is that? Could it be that we have forgotten how to stay “sharp”? There’s nothing wrong with activity and hard work.

But we should not get so busy that we neglect the truly important things in life, like our personal life, taking time to fulfill our hobbies, giving more time for our family, taking time to read, enhancing our skills, upgrading our knowledge, being aware of our strengths and weaknesses, spending time for our self-development and health etc.

We all need time to relax, to think and meditate, to learn and grow. If we don’t take the time to sharpen the “axe”, we will become dull and lose our effectiveness.

Ps.144.12 - That our sons may be as plants grown up in their youth; that our daughters may be as corner stones, polished after the similitude of a palace:

Eph.2.20 - And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;

Isa.28.16 - Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste.

1Pet.2.6 - Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded.

Rev.7.17 - For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.

Like Abraham God will bring his purpose for your life to come to pass
Like Isaac God will proper you in all your endeavors
Like Jacob God will guide, protect and lead you in the way you should go
Like the children of isreal God cause your enemies to be smitten before you, the shall flee when no one is pursuing them
