ROSELINE ADEBOLA SODEINDE
Mother Celestial Roseline Adebola Sodeinde was born on the 19th of December,1930. Though, she was born a Roman Catholic, she converted to the Anglican Church through marriage. By special calling, she became a member of Celestial Church of Christ in 1970.
Her father is Chief Stephen Babalola Kuku of the Royal Borogun ,Ijebu Ode Dynasty and her mother is Mrs. (Princess) Sylveria Ibiade Kuku,nee Badejoh of the Royal House of Fidipote in Ijebu-Ode.
She attended St. Mary’s Convent School,Broad Street,Lagos in 1934 and later went to St. Agnes Teachers Training College,Yaba,Lagos, from 1947-1949 where she obtained her Teachers Grade II Certificate.
MC Bola Sodeinde got married to Mr. Simeon Peter Olalekan Sodeinde of blessed memory in 1953. She proceeded to London in September 1955 on a scholarship from the then Western Production Board. Her husband joined her in 1956. In London,she attended the Northern Polytechnic, now North London University to study Catering and Dietetics as a full time student for 3years. She came out in flying colours in her exams. She interned at the London School of Economics for 18months.
She was a Fellow at the Hotel Catering and Institutional Management ,London. She was also a Fellow at the Royal Society of Health and Nutrition . She returned to Nigeria in 1960 with her husband and son. On arrival in Nigeria,she worked at Abeokuta Psychiatric Hospital as a Catering Officer for about a year after which she was seconded to the University of Lagos as the Assistant Catering Officer in 1962.
In 1970,she represented the Nigerian Tourist Association,African Travel Commission at the Gastronomic Exhibition in Kampala,Uganda and also at the All Africa Trade Fair in Nairobi,Kenya in 1972. She played very prominent role as a member of various food societies and clubs.
She was the Chairperson,Catering Committee of the Nigeria Festival of Arts, which took place in Lagos in 1974. She was an Executive Fellow of the Hotel & Catering Association of Nigeria; Member,Nigerian Home Economics Association and Chairman ,National Food and Research Committee,Nigeria.
She retired from the University of Lagos in 1974. She also took a prominent part in the ex*****on of FESTAC ’77. She was an adviser to the Nigeria Sports Commission.
Between 1978-1985,Mama Sodeinde hosted a cookery show as a Catering Instructor on N.T.A where she taught Nigerian local dishes. She also served in various committees organized by the Federal Government in the ‘80s. She led hundreds of Nigerians on Holy Pilgrimage to Jerusalem from 1983 to 1990.
Since 1988,she voluntarily gave her life to fulltime ministry in Celestial Church of Christ,both home and abroad and became one of the most active women in the church. She was a renowned prophetess who humbly worked very closely with Rev. S.B.J. Oshoffa (the late Pastor Founder of CCC WW). She also served with great devotion and loyalty with Rev. A.A. Bada, who succeeded the Pastor Founder. She continued her diligent service to subsequent Pastors, Rev. P.H. Ajose and most recently, Rev. EM.F. Oshoffa, until her transition.
She was installed as Mother Galilee by late Rev. A.A. Bada at the CCC Family Day (Easter Monday) in 1998 and until her exit,she maintained the position with dignity and a sense of commitment.
In her walk with God in Celestial Church of Christ,she held numerous key decision making positions and belonged to several Christian bodies until she passed on. These include:

In 1992,she represented Celestial Church of Christ at the Text Writing Workshop on Theological Education by Extension in Nairobi, Kenya, where shere she pent three months on a full-time study . During her stay in Kenya, she authored 4 books with the following titles:
- Prophecy and Revelation in the Church of God
- Women and Education
- Conflicts in Marriage I
- Conflicts in Marriage II
All these books were based on theological teaching and can be found in the library of OAIC Headquarters in Nairobi,Kenya.
Mama Sodeinde is blessed with two brilliant children,five grandchildren and three great grandchildren and thousands of spiritual sons and daughters.
At exactly two years ago, Sunday 14th April,2019 she bidded the earth farewell at the ripe age of 89.
C.C.C. WW will continue to cherish her as the Lord God of Celestial Church of Christ used her mightily for the progress of this church. She remains a true heroine in CCC.
May her soul continue to rest in the Lord Jesus Christ.
