Theme: What it mean to serve God?

Guest minister: Venerable Anthony Lambert

1. It means to worship God. Obeying God and making God the centre of your life, communicating with Him through prayers.
2. To put away every from of idolatry.
3. God entrusts you with a task when you have completed the two previous stages.

Benefits of serving God
1. Divine protection. Daniel 6:19-22
2. Prosperity. Daniel 1:28
3. Good health. Exodus 23:25
4. Long life. Psalm 91:12
5. God keeps record of your good works for remembrance or memorial Acts 10
6. Promotion. Acts 13:2

Questions were asked on how to manage time when struggling with a demanding job that affects time for prayers. The guest minister advised to allocate a convenient and active time for our spiritual lives.

Questions were asked on how to manage funds. He answered that prayers should be made asking God to bless the people so they can give. He said some secret followers are housing the resources that will bless the church, so ask God for followers to have a generous heart.

It was such a refreshing time.
We look forward to having more of this teachings and having our guest minister.
