Have you ever being in a crowd where everybody is falling for something and you're wondering what's so special about it?

There was a new boy that moved into my class in SS2.
He was undoubtedly handsome and all the girls were drooling over him but to me, he was just like every other boy.
Not because he wasn't handsome, but I didn't find him attractive.

And life is like that too.

You can be the most qualified for a job and they still won't pick you.

You can be the friendliest in the friendship group and they'll still love you less.

You can be the most beautiful red but if their favourite colour is blue, it won't matter.

You don't have to keep adjusting to their red.
There are people who love all the shades of blue and they'll find you.

Just keep being yourself so that the people looking for you will find you.

He waited for me every Sunday.

He always came to church because of me.

He was always there in the congregation, patiently waiting for me to notice him.

But I never did.

I thought he was too common, and that wasn't my love language. I wanted something rare.

Because I knew he was easily accessible, I only went to him when I needed help, and then I'd snooze him.

One day, in my school, he came to church again.

And that was when I truly saw him.

Then I realised that he was a Prince.

And I wondered, "what does a Prince want with an ordinary girl like me?"

But he held my hand and called me, “Friend.”

And greater than every form of love he had shown me, he died for me.

Now I'm helplessly in love with him.

I'm falling head over heels every day.

Dear Jesus, till this life is over, it's me and you.

Life by the spirit
GALATIANS 5:16:26 So I say, live by the spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the sinful nature. 17 For the sinful nature desires what is contrary to the spirit, and the spirit what is contrary to the sinful nature. They are in conflict with each other, so that you do not do what you want .18 But if you are led by the spirit, you are not under law. 19 The acts of the sinful nature are abvious:sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; 20 idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions 21 And envy; drunkenness, or**es, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God. 22 But the fruit of the spirit is love, Joy, Peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness and self-control. Against such thing s there is no law. 24 Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the sinful nature with its passions and desires. 25 Since we live by the spirit, let us keep in step with the spirit. 26 Let us not become conceited, provoking and envying each other.
