21 DAYS FASTING AND PRAYERS — DAY 1: FAST FOR AN EXCELLENT RISING

Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee. Isaiah 60:1
Today’s Reflection: Rising in God always begins with waiting on God.

Setting out to fast and pray at the beginning of the year is a wise spiritual decision. It is a clear declaration of our absolute dependence on God, without whom we can do nothing. As it has become our spiritual culture, we will be fasting through the next 21 days, waiting upon the Lord in spirit and in truth.

Still basking in the euphoria of the prophetic theme for the year — our year of excellent rising — we are pressing deliberately into God, standing firmly on His Word through this fast and even beyond. Scripture shows us that rising in God is closely tied to waiting on Him (Isaiah 40:31). Decide to join this fast and participate actively. This devotional will serve as a Spirit-inspired guide through the days ahead. Beloved, get set — you will rise, and you will rise excellently.

Prayer Points

1. Father, thank You for this season of bliss. Ephesians 5:20

2. Father, as I begin this fast, I declare my total dependence on You. Strengthen me to wait upon You and not run ahead of Your will. Isaiah 40:31

3. My God, let every veil of distraction, and spiritual dullness be removed as I wait on You in fasting and prayer. Hebrews 12:1

4. My Father, as I seek You in this fast, release fresh strength, fresh light, and fresh direction for my assignments this year. Psalm 27:8

5. My God, let Your glory rise upon me in this season, causing my light to shine and drawing men, opportunities, and favor according to Your Word. Isaiah 60:1–3

🌎GLOBAL MISSIONS WEEK — DAY 5

GOD’S MESSENGERS

> “What are the angels, then? They are spirits who serve God and are sent by him to help those who are to receive salvation.”

Today’s Reflection: this may be someone’s only hope

Throughout Scripture, God used His angels to deliver important messages. They were not limited by location—they always reached their recipients. For example, Peter was in prison, yet the angel of the Lord came to him (Acts 12:7–9).

Today, God is using little books like the one in your hand to deliver His message of salvation everywhere. Though inanimate, these books carry God’s inspired Word, which is spirit and life—just as angels did in biblical times.

We can therefore see the Perfection Daily Devotional as God’s messenger, bringing the gospel to places we cannot reach physically. This devotional circulates in prisons, detention facilities, and hospitals, providing daily doses of spiritual nourishment. A brother released from prison testified that the devotional was the only thing sustaining him during his darkest days.

Saints of God, together we can get more of these messengers into the hands of millions who are heirs of salvation. When this burden takes root in your heart, the Lord will show you specific steps to take. Never underestimate what a single copy of this little book can do for someone’s eternal destiny.

Today’s Reflection: Gratitude unlocks God’s blessings

Gratitude is the attitude of the wise, for it recognizes God’s hand in every opportunity to serve and bless others. As we look back over 2025, we have abundant reason to give thanks. Today, on the second day of our Global Missions Week, we begin by lifting our hearts to our Heavenly Father, the Eternal One, for His unwavering faithfulness. By His grace, we have been able to print and distribute thousands of free copies of the Perfection Daily Devotional this year. Glory Hallelujah!

Next, we give thanks for our spiritual parents, the General Overseers of Perfection Embassy International, Pastors Raphael and Janet Olaniyi. Their prayers, wisdom, and guidance have been a pillar for the team, enabling us to see greater heights and more fruitful days in the work of missions. We are equally grateful to every member of the Perfection Embassy family worldwide, whose consistent prayers and generous support have propelled this ministry forward.

Finally, we appreciate the countless leaders, pastors, chaplains, and organizational heads who have partnered with us to make God’s Word accessible to many. Like Onesiphorus in Scripture, you have faithfully helped others hear and experience God’s message. May the Lord show you mercy on the day of judgment, and may your labor in the gospel be richly rewarded.

🌟 SPEAKING LIFE OVER YOUR CHILD 🌟

“Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.” – Proverbs 18:21

Today’s Reflection: Speak them into the right order.

What you say consistently over a child shapes what they become. Even when they disappoint you, your declarations can realign their destiny.

Instead of saying, “You’re lazy” or “You’ll fail again,” speak the opposite! Use words that plant faith and identity — words of grace and love.

Say things like:
👉 “You are wise.”
👉 “You are focused.”
👉 “You love learning.”
👉 “You will excel because God’s wisdom rests on you.”

Speak it even when their behaviour says otherwise. Faith-filled words are seeds that produce in due time. Never get tired of speaking the positive even when your child seems to act otherwise.

Children grow into the atmosphere of words spoken over them. Soak your home in affirmations and prayer. Let every word they hear from you remind them that they are chosen, gifted, and destined for greatness. Help them create a mindset that will prevail over the negativity they might meet in the wider world. Parents have a lot to do!

Prayer:
Lord, let my mouth be filled with grace and truth. I speak life, wisdom, and focus into my child. I cancel every negative word ever spoken over them. May Your Spirit rest upon them and give them understanding in all things. Amen.

LIVING BY FAITH

“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God.”
— Ephesians 2:8

Today’s Reflection: The just lives by faith.

The whole journey of a Christian is a journey of faith. Remember what the Bible says: “For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.” (Romans 1:17). If we were saved from sin by faith, then we can only remain saved from sin by faith.

Sanctification—our lifelong becoming more like Jesus—is also faith-driven. The Bible says, “…that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.” (Acts 26:18). God desires that we rid ourselves of sinful deeds, perfecting holiness in the fear of God (Colossians 3:8; 2 Corinthians 7:1). If anyone is to enjoy increasing victory over sin, unwavering faith in Christ’s finished work is central.

Holding fast to these godly standards, we must trust in God’s provision of grace in Christ Jesus. We must believe that we are dead to sin and free from its control (Romans 6:2, 18, 22). This truth becomes our weapon in striving against sin and living a life of victory. Even when we stumble, we must not give up. Rather, we press on in faith, training ourselves in righteousness and learning obedience daily. In due time, our victory over sin grows stronger and clearer.

Beloved, let us depend on Christ for the totality of our salvation.

🌟 Today’s Reflection: There is nothing too good for a child of God.

Recently, we received the testimony of a young man of God who dedicated himself to the preaching of the Gospel. Things became so tough that he couldn’t afford to pay his rent. One day, after returning from evangelism, he found his belongings thrown outside—he had been evicted by his landlord. Some good brethren assisted him in securing a place to keep his family and belongings. Not long after, a man heard his story and was moved. He gave him a big house together with the papers! The squatter had become a landlord.

Beloved, God is able to supply all our needs. He is dependable and will never fail when we put our trust in Him. He will never allow His own to see shame. It doesn’t matter what kind of job you do or how much you earn—God can supply your every need. Stop looking at your income and start looking at the greatness of your God. He has built houses for those who had no jobs, given cars to people who couldn’t afford a bicycle, and sent the children of the poor to very expensive schools. Just name it—this is the God we serve.

One very powerful way to get God to supply our needs is to trust Him wholeheartedly. The Psalmist said, “Behold, as the eyes of servants look unto the hand of their masters, and as the eyes of a maiden unto the hand of her mistress; so our eyes wait upon the Lord our God, until that he have mercy upon us.” (Psalm 123:2). This should be our posture before God concerning our every need. Never forget this: nothing is too big or too good for a child of God. Our Father is all-sufficient. Just trust Him!

🙏 Prayer: Lord, I know You are able to supply my every need.
