Until your purpose is discovered, existence can feel empty or directionless. Purpose gives meaning to life because it connects our actions to something greater than routine or survival. It becomes a source of fulfillment by providing clarity, motivation, and a sense of contribution. Without purpose, people may wander through life without deep satisfaction, even when they possess success or comfort. Discovering purpose does not always happen suddenly; it often grows through experiences, challenges, relationships, and self-reflection. Once purpose is found, life gains direction and value, making struggles more meaningful and achievements more rewarding. Purpose transforms mere existence into a truly fulfilling journey.

People often compare their journeys to others and feel delayed when life unfolds differently, but growth does not follow a universal clock. You are not late; you were simply becoming the person your experiences needed you to be before blessings could arrive. Every setback, silence, heartbreak, lesson, and season of waiting shaped your strength, wisdom, and resilience for the opportunities ahead. Some flowers bloom in spring, others in winter, yet each is beautiful in its time. Trust your process, honor your pace, and remember that success is not measured by speed, but by depth, purpose, and authenticity of your journey.

“The darker the night, the brighter the stars” reminds us that difficult times often reveal our greatest strengths and deepest hopes. In moments of pain, fear, or uncertainty, courage shines more clearly, kindness feels more meaningful, and determination becomes stronger. Just as stars are most visible in darkness, human character is often revealed during struggles. Challenges teach resilience, patience, and faith in better days ahead. No storm lasts forever, and every night eventually gives way to morning. Therefore, we should never lose hope when life becomes difficult. Instead, we should remember that even in darkness, there is always light waiting to guide us forward.

Sometimes silence isn’t weakness, it’s wisdom. Not every misunderstanding deserves your energy, and not every battle is worth your peace. Walking away from pointless arguments is often the quietest form of strength.

This week, our hearts are filled with gratitude to God for His encompassing mercies. By whose faithfulness, we are not consumed, even in the face of great adversities and terrible decrees. Therefore, no matter how turbulent the storms or tough the road, we must keep faith and remain steadfast.

Our Sages uphold four essential teachings of Judaism, which are: - Monotheism: The belief in one God; Following Jewish Teachings; Equality and Social Justice; and The Importance of Study.

Belief in one God is unequivocal just as following Jewish teachings, and upholding equality and social justice. All the above three are perhaps only strengthened and reinforced by no other habit or practice than STUDY. The importance of study cannot be over emphasized, even more so now in these age and times eroding values and practices. We must arm ourselves with study and cultivate learning as prerequisites for total Torah understanding knowing that only Jewish philosophy and wisdom - The Torah - hold the answers to all life’s questions.

So, this week, as we battle various challenges, from political insecurities, health challenges, ethnic violence, wars, and various unrests, meditate on this faithful assurance that says: “He will destroy in this mountain the face of the covering that is cast over all peoples, and the veil that is spread over all nations.” (Isaiah 25:7).

Be safe. stay well, take care of yourself and your loved ones. Seek and pursue peace. Do your part in keeping our world safe and immersed in Sound Doctrine. Shalom.

As we keep the Shabbat, we mustn’t fail to recount His enduring goodness, for keeping us safe, alive, and well in these very turbulent and virus beleaguered times. We also include the fervent prayer that God will, in His compassionate mercy, heal the world and bring an end to every pestilence, pandemic, conflict and war. Let us therefore keep from defiling the Shabbat and remember that more than we have kept the Shabbat, the SHABBAT has kept us as a people, together, and safe from annihilation.

May HASHEM, the Eternal One, blessed is He, grant that we experience the limitless joy of the holy Shabbat and through it, bring peace to our borders and shower His blessings upon our leaders that they may lead the nation(s) in righteousness, with equity and justice. Amen.

Destiny is often defined as a predetermined course of events, yet many perspectives emphasize that it is actively shaped by personal choices, character, and actions rather than just chance. While often viewed as a divine, high-purpose, or fated path, it is commonly seen as something created through daily habits and decisions.

Tips to note about Destiny:

Choice & Action: According to Williams Shakespeare, "It is not in the stars to hold our destiny but in ourselves". Destiny is often considered a matter of choice, not chance.

Character & Habits: The trajectory of your life is built on habits, which become character, which in turn becomes destiny.
Divine Purpose: Many believe destiny is a purposeful, God-given path that individuals are responsible for working towards, rather than a passive experience.

Common Phrases:
"Everything happens for a reason."
"It was meant to be."
"Your destiny is in your hands"

The book of Deuteronomy 30 vs 1-19 bears testimony on the matter of choice leading to a great or bad destiny.

JOURNEY OF LIFE
Life is like a journey on a train with its stations and different routes. At birth, we boarded the train and met our parents and we believe that they will always travel on our side. However, at some station, our parents will step down from the train leaving us on this journey alone.
As time goes by, other people will board the train and they will be significant including our friends, siblings and we may even find love awwwwwn. Many will step down and leave a permanent vacuum while others will go unnoticed. This train ride will be full of joy, sorrow, expectations, tears, trails, battles, goodbyes, e.t.c.
One of the keys to success included having a good relationship with all the passengers requiring that we give the best of ourselves. The mystery about this journey is that we don’t know at which station we would step down. Therefore, we must endeavor to live life in the best way, forgive, make friends and offer the best of who we are so that when the time comes and we have to step down, we would leave behind beautiful memories for those who will continue their own journey.
I wish you a joyful journey on your train of life, reap success and most importantly, thank you for being one of the passengers on my train.

THE SCAR
I've come to the realization that everything you go through in life is part of your training process.
There's always a story behind every success; you may not know about this, but there are people who were honest enough to share their challenges with us and how they struggled to get to where they are today.
The day I heard Gabriel Prudent share her story, I was like God! Is this how you raise someone from bottom to top in a blink of an eye? I had to watch that particular video more than once because it was exactly what I needed at that moment to take the step I needed. Many people won't tell you about this, but believe me or not, every great person has a story to tell.
Prudent's story is one that inspires me so much; it taught me how your passion can give birth to something great.
A lot of us might be tired already because we feel the scars are getting too much, but I'm here to tell you today that you need to hold on for tomorrow. Yes, you do!
1. The SCARS will TEACH you how to stay in the secret place even when you have all you need. 2. The SCARS will remind you that only God can do certain things. 3. The SCARS will be the reason you will never feel too big in His presence, because you know where He brought you from. 4. The SCARS were what made David dance to the point of removing his clothes, and he didn't mind if he was the king or not, because he knew the One who gave him the THRONE.
There's a habit I've developed, and that is writing down every single thing. Yes, I write them down, and there comes a time when I'd read it and remember where He brought me from.
Please don't give up on those SCARS; you need them, and people will need them to keep GOING.
I hope someone finds relief from this.
