Is It Wrong To Get Married Without Being Blessed By Your Pastor?

ANSWER: Well, if you belong to a church, which you should, why would you want to get married without letting your Pastor know?

🔴Even in a large church where it might be difficult for every member to get to the Pastor, there are leaders, there are structures, so if you use those structures, the Pastor will get to know.

🔴If He doesn’t know you personally, through the structure, the leadership will be aware and you can have God’s blessings on that.

🔴It’s important, so don’t go ahead and get married without the church knowing; it’s not right!

𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗧𝗘𝗖𝗧 𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗙𝗔𝗜𝗧𝗛, 𝗟𝗜𝗩𝗘 𝗜𝗡 𝗔𝗖𝗖𝗢𝗥𝗗𝗔𝗡𝗖𝗘 𝗧𝗢 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗗

🔴The divine love of God, imparted to us through the Holy Spirit, is a precious gift that requires our vigilant protection.

📖Romans 5:5 And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.

🔴In Revelation 2:25, Jesus instructs us, “But that which ye have already hold fast till I come.” This directive underscores the necessity of guarding the love we’ve received from God.

🔴Just as God’s love fills our hearts, it’s essential to safeguard it diligently to prevent its loss.

🔴Guard your hearts with all diligence, His love can be lost if not adequately protected. This principle is exemplified in various aspects of Christian life. For instance, individuals who receive healing may, due to neglect, sin, or disbelief, find their healing diminished or lost.

🔴Our daily actions should reflect our love for God by adhering to His teachings and maintaining our faith. Jesus stated in John 14:15, “If ye love me, keep my commandments.”

🔴Each day offers opportunities to live out His Word, affirm our faith, and express the significance of Jesus in our lives.

🔴It’s crucial to keep your focus on Jesus, as He is the core of everything that truly matters. Protecting your love for Him involves a consistent passion for spreading the Gospel and interceding for those who are yet to receive salvation.

🔴In Hebrews 12:15, the scripture warns us, “Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled.”

🔴Avoid offence, malice, or bitterness that could disrupt your devotion to God.

🔴There are instances where believers, who once fervently served God and led others to Christ, become disheartened and cease their church involvement due to offences or disappointments. Pastor Chris advises, “Let nothing quench your fire.”

🔴Colossians 3:23-24 encourages us, “And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.”

🔴With the end of all things approaching, maintaining your zeal for the Lord is imperative.

🔴Keep producing fruits of righteousness, and remember, a crown of glory awaits those who remain steadfast.

🔴In a world where distractions and challenges abound, safeguarding your love for God requires daily commitment and focus.

🔴Protect your faith, live in accordance with God’s Word, and continue to grow spiritually.

🔴As you journey in faith, let nothing deter you from your devotion and service to the Lord.

𝗛𝗘𝗜𝗥𝗦 𝗢𝗙 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗦𝗣𝗘𝗥𝗜𝗧𝗬

📖Galatians 3:29 And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.

🔴If as a Christian you’ve been praying, “O God, prosper me,” then you’ve been praying amiss, because our prosperity, as far as God is concerned, is a settled fact. In Christ Jesus, we’re heirs of prosperity. It’s like praying that God should make you a human being. That’s not going to work!

🔴In the same way that the righteousness of God was imparted to your spirit when you were born again, prosperity and greatness have been imparted to your spirit.

🔴2 Corinthians 8:9 says, “For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich.”

☀️What does this mean? First, understand that Jesus never became poor spiritually. So, the scripture above is talking about physical, material, and financial blessings.

☀️Jesus became poor for your sake, so that from what He gave up, you might inherit abundance.

🔴Think about this: God laid our sins on Jesus on the cross, and conferred His righteousness on us at His resurrection.

🔴In Christ, you’re born His heir.

🔴All of God’s wealth and resources belong to you because you’re His heir.

🔴The Bible says the silver, gold, precious stones and the whole world belong to Him : “The silver is mine, and the goldsmith, saith the Lord of hosts” (Haggai 2:8). “For every beast of the forest is mine, and the cattle upon a thousand hills. I know all the fowls of the mountains : and the wild beasts of the field are mine…for the world is mine, and the fulness thereof” (Psalm 50:10-12).

🔴So, as an heir of God, and joint heir with Christ, the silver, the gold, the cattle upon a thousand hills, the world and the fullness thereof, belong to you as much as they belong to Him. No wonder the Bible says, “all things are yours” (1 Corinthians 3:21).

🔴See yourself in this light, for this is the truth about your prosperity.

📖Ephesians 1:11 In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:

📖Colossians 1:12 Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:

🔴Don’t see your job or business as your source of income, but as a medium to bless others.

🔴Reject poverty, sickness, and everything that’s inconsistent with the realities of the God-life, and live a joyful, prosperous life every day.

𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗕𝗜𝗕𝗟𝗘'𝗦 𝗧𝗥𝗨𝗧𝗛 𝗔𝗕𝗢𝗨𝗧 𝗛𝗢𝗠𝗢𝗦*𝗫𝗨𝗔𝗟𝗜𝗧𝗬

🔴I understand there are some Christians who are still unsure whether it is right or wrong to be g3y. Are you out of your mind?

🔴You don't want to read the Bible. The first book of the Bible, Genesis, talks about g3ys. Talks about their community. And talks about how God despises what they do. And how God destroyed two cities because of their attitude, because of their sins.

🔴The last book of the Bible concludes with it as well and tells you God is going to judge S***m.

🔴Don't deceive yourself that it is natural or that somehow you were born with it.

🔴Nobody was born g3y.

🔴It's not possible to be born g3y.

🔴The Bible says a man is tempted when he's drawn away of his own lost and enticed.

📖James 1:13-16 Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man: 14 But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. 15 Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death. 16 Do not err, my beloved brethren.

🔴It says, do not err, my beloved brethren. Don't go astray. It's warning you.

🔴So it's not right. If you are engaged in it, repent and start living right. Because it's all in your mind.

🔴A man is tempted when he's drawn away of his own lust. Lust is what? Evil desire, unrestrained desire, evil concupiscence.

🔴When your desires are going wild, then you start thinking, maybe this is something you're interested in and then you start reading those materials that are associated with it.

🔴Stop looking at magazines that gets you into such situation. Stop going to those websites.

🔴Don't visit g3y websites. Don't flirt with those things. They'll destroy you. They'll destroy your life.

🔴Remember, just because a lot of people are doing something doesn't make it right. The Bible says wide is the road that leads to destruction and many there be that go in that way. But narrow is the way that leads to life and few there be that find it.

🔴So if it's popular in your community, it doesn't mean it's right.

☀️You got to stop it. If you want to stop it, you can stop it.

☀️If you're a Christian, all you have to say is, “In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, I will no longer do it,” and the power of the Holy Spirit will be there to help you right away but if you keep protecting it and keeping it and nurturing it, it'll grow like a giant and one day bind you if it has not already bound you. You're creating an enemy from within to destroy your life. And when you get sucked into it, you bring demons into your life. Doesn't matter that you're singing “Amazing Grace” all the time. You can sing songs, you can preach, doesn't change anything.

🔴If you're bound in that area of your life, you're bound. You have to free yourself and start walking in that direction and the earlier, the better.

🔴Remember, the earlier you free yourself from it, the better. Don't make excuses. You were not born that way. It's not natural.

PROSPERITY CONVICTIONS

I affirm that there is great illumination of the Word of God in my financial path. I am living the transcendent life in Christ, where I know no lack, need or want.

I am superabundantly supplied; before the need manifests supply overtakes it. The Lord has blessed me with all the spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. His divine power has given me all things that pertain to life and godliness. I have been called to a life of glory and virtue.

I am the seed of Abraham, an heir of God and a joint heir with Christ. Therefore the whole world belongs to me. I am a possessor of all. All things are mine. The earth and its fulness thereof belongs to me. Hallelujah!!!

THEME: STAY IN FAITH

My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience (James 1:2-3).

Have you ever been in a situation where, after you’ve done everything you know to do, things didn’t seem to change? You’ve prayed, applied the Word, and followed every counsel given, yet the situation looked the same. Like the student who once wrote me a letter after sitting for the same examinations several times and failing again and again, asking, “Pastor Chris, what more can I do? I’ve tried everything.”

But the Word already gives the answer: stay in faith! Refuse to give up. Faith always works. Refuse to stagger at the Word of God through unbelief, but against hope, believe in hope. No matter the adversity you face in your academics, your workplace, or through people who seem determined to hinder your progress; refuse to be flustered, discouraged or bitter. Keep acting your faith.

You may encounter individuals who decide that no matter what you do, you won’t succeed unless you compromise; stay on the Word. The Bible says if you’re afflicted, pray (James 5:13), but that doesn’t mean things may change instantly, and that doesn’t also mean God hasn’t heard you. But one thing is certain: He believes in you.

God knows He has trained you enough to face the situation and win. That’s why you don’t chicken out; you face it and win. You stand your ground. You hold fast to the Word. Even when it seems like everything is collapsing around you, refuse to panic. Refuse to quit.

Maybe you lost a job, or something didn’t go the way you expected, don’t be moved. The Bible says, “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose” (Romans 8:28). This is your life, and it will always be your experience as long as you’re in faith. So, keep serving the Lord joyously and putting your faith to work.

CONFESSION

I’m a victor in Christ Jesus. I walk in dominion, power and ever-increasing grace, glory and peace. My mind is renewed by the Word; therefore, I only think victory, success and abundance. The glory of Christ, His righteousness, might and wisdom are expressed in and through me today, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

“To Him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood, and has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen."

LET’S TALK⏩
The kings of the earth employ painstaking efforts to raise and culture their children, because they’re royalty. Their kids don’t walk, talk, dress or behave like everyone else. The expectations are even greater when the child in question is the heir-apparent. That’s why Solomon said, “I was my father’s son, tender and the only one in the sight of my mother. He also taught me, and said to me: ‘Let your heart retain my words; keep my commands, and live’” (Proverbs 4:3-4).

Solomon certainly wasn’t David’s only child, yet he said, “I was my father’s son” because he was the one groomed for the throne. There was a special training David needed to bequeath to him, which the other sons didn’t get. As God’s children, we’re His heirs: ”and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ...” (Romans 8:17). You’re a joint-heir with Jesus Christ!

You’re not an ordinary person; you’re a prince of power with God. Your heavenly Father owns the whole world and has placed you in charge of His possessions. No wonder the Bible says all things are yours (1 Corinthians 3:21). What an honour to be an heir of God! You’ve been called to reign in life as a king. Make up your mind to walk, talk and live as a king that you are.

Refuse to use beggarly language; the children of kings don’t talk cheap; they exercise authority. In your prayers, don’t beg. Relate with God as a son. He loves you and knows you’re His heir, who has a right to His inexhaustible inheritance. Glory to God!

Dear heavenly Father, I thank you for making me your heir. Thank you for my royal lineage! When you received Jesus, something wonderful happened—you were born again by the Word of God.

This means God’s life and Word are in you. Because you’re born of the Word, you can live like God’s child and show His goodness to others. Just like Jesus lived the Word when He was on earth, you also express God’s Word through your thoughts, words, and actions.

Every day, you can let God’s Word guide what you say and do. Remember, you’re born of the Word, and your life shines with God’s truth and blessing.
