Text: Acts 16:19–26
Topic: Making Jesus Known in the Street
Speaker: Pst. Benedict Aliku

The message centered on the true purpose of the Holy Spirit and the believer’s role in representing Christ, especially in challenging situations.

Pst. Benedict Aliku emphasized that the Spirit of God is not for commercial use but for kingdom purposes—transforming lives and revealing the character of Jesus.

He highlighted that God cannot be confined to physical structures or human systems, and His power is not dependent on human activities. Believers were reminded that true Christianity is reflected more in character than in the display of power, as the greatest miracle is a transformed life.

The teaching also encouraged Christians to remain obedient, noting that disobedience—not external forces—can lead to destruction. In Christ, all believers are equal, and even in difficulties, there is an opportunity to make Jesus known.

The session concluded with a call to live a consistent Christian life, avoid exploitation for personal gain, and embrace the essence of fellowship as a means of life transformation.

Speaker: Pst. Samson Adesanya

The atmosphere at Cornerstone Apostolic Network, Kaduna, was filled with insight and spiritual awakening as Pastor Samson Adesanya delivered a powerful message titled “Rock Solid.” Centered on the importance of building a life that can withstand life’s storms, the teaching emphasized obedience to God’s Word as the sure foundation for an unshakable destiny.

Drawing from scripture, the speaker explained that every life is like a building, and its strength depends on the foundation upon which it is laid.
He stressed that storms and trials are inevitable and often come unannounced, but only those whose lives are rooted in Christ—the solid rock—will stand firm.

Pastor Adesanya highlighted the need to build with enduring materials—gold, silver, and precious stones—symbolizing values and actions aligned with God’s principles. He warned against building with temporary materials such as wood, hay, and stubble, which cannot withstand the tests of fire and adversity.
The message also underscored the importance of divine pattern and purpose.

According to him, every life has a God-ordained design, and fulfillment comes through intentional discovery and disciplined living. He noted that discipline, though often restrictive, is essential for growth and preparation, especially under the guidance of mentors and spiritual authorities.
Emphasizing patience and process, the congregation was reminded that true building is systematic and cannot skip stages.

Young people were encouraged to align their present actions with their future aspirations, prioritizing discipline over pleasure to avoid unnecessary pressure.
In conclusion, Pastor Adesanya urged believers to pursue maturity, build with eternal values, and embrace spiritual principles that guarantee lasting impact. The call was clear: build a life that is rock solid—grounded in

Christ, guided by purpose, and strengthened through discipline.

A Call to Embrace Growth and Greatness Through Humility and Training

Apostle Steve Itodo ministered from Job 8:7, emphasizing the power of humble beginnings and the journey to greatness. He highlighted that God often starts with the small and weak to reveal His greatness, reminding believers that while starting small is not wrong, remaining small wrong.

He encouraged intentional growth, noting that following Christ magnifies one’s life and purpose. The message stressed that training and continuous learning are vital, as greatness is achieved through discipline, humility, and dedication—not inherited.
The session challenged believers to embrace growth, submit to training, and trust God through every stage of their journey.

DISCIPLESHIP CLASS WITH DR. BENEDICT ALIKU AT UKE, NASARAWA STATE

The discipleship class with staff and leaders in Uke, Nasarawa State, was led by Pastor Dr. Benedict Aliku.
It began with a session on staff loyalty, where it was emphasized that loyalty is closely tied to commitment and faithfulness within an organization.

In the first teaching session, Pastor Benedict Aliku spoke on the topic, “The Consequences of an Imperfect Heart with God,” using 2 Chronicles 25:1–2, 14–15 as the major text. He explained that having a perfect heart before God is of greater value than wealth, and that a strong relationship with God is essential for maintaining a pure heart. He stressed that obedience is better than sacrifice and that a perfect heart does not accommodate sin.

He also warned against aligning with what God has rejected and taught that a heart devoid of God and truth reflects spiritual imperfection.
Furthermore, he highlighted dishonesty and deceitful behavior as destructive traits that hinder favor and negatively affect society. The session concluded with questions from the congregation, which were answered by the Director.

Afterward, the congregation engaged in a session of songs, worship, and prayer.
The second session focused on the topic, “God’s Desire for a Perfect Heart,” with Bible references from 2 Kings 20:3; 1 Chronicles 12:38; 28:9–10; 29:9; and 2 Chronicles 19:9.
Pastor Benedict Aliku emphasized that God’s greatest desire is for believers to maintain a sincere and wholehearted relationship with Him.
He taught that everyone lives for a divine purpose that must be fulfilled and that a right relationship with God brings prompt answers to prayers. He also explained that God uses people in their raw and humble state rather than based on outward appearance, and that God values a perfect heart above skillfulness without obedience. Additionally, he stated that the call of God comes with sacrifice and that a perfect heart gives willingly and joyfully.

The class ended with general questions from the congregation, which were answered by the Director, followed by closing prayers and the benediction.

ROOTED IN CHRIST JESUS: A CALL TO STEADFAST FAITH

At the Cornerstone Apostolic Network, Kaduna, on Saturday, 16th April 2026, believers were richly impacted by a powerful teaching delivered by Pastor Dan E. Dan, centered on the theme “Rooted in Christ Jesus” (Colossians 2:6–7).

The message emphasized that while every individual carries a measure of influence, Christians are called to pattern their lives after Christ, echoing Apostle Paul’s charge to “follow me as I follow Christ.” Members were reminded that their devotion and commitment to church should be driven by their relationship with Jesus, not mere routine or external motivations.

Pastor Dan highlighted that Christianity is not a life of ease or mere celebration, but a journey of deep commitment in Christ. He encouraged believers to remain steadfast, noting that challenges and turbulent seasons are part of the Christian walk, designed by God to prepare His people for a greater harvest. He reassured the congregation that though the righteous may fall, they will surely rise again.
The teaching further stressed the importance of continuous meditation on God’s Word as a key to spiritual depth and stability.
According to the minister, transformation comes through consistent fellowship with the Word—“as you behold, you become.” He also warned about the influence of one’s environment and relationships, stating that the company one keeps can either strengthen or weaken their faith.
In conclusion, the congregation was encouraged to remain firmly rooted in Christ, reflecting His glory in all aspects of life, and trusting in God, who faithfully rewards those who diligently seek Him.

SPIRITUAL DEPTH: A CALL TO GO DEEPER IN GOD

Text: Psalm 107:23; Matthew 13:5-6, 20-21
Speaker: Pst. Samson Adesanya

At the recent teaching, believers were reminded that spiritual depth is the true foundation of a lasting Christian life.
Just as a building stands strong on a solid foundation, so a believer’s strength is rooted in how deep they grow in God.

The message emphasized that true spirituality goes beyond emotions, outward appearance, or spiritual gifts. It is anchored in genuine salvation, obedience to God’s Word, and the visible fruit of the Spirit. Without depth, faith becomes shallow—marked by temporary excitement that fades quickly.

Pst. Adesanya highlighted that spiritual growth requires intentional pursuit through consistent prayer, meditation on God’s Word, and seasons of separation unto God. He encouraged believers to seek a personal and deeper encounter with Christ, noting that treasures are found in the deep.
