NOTIFICATION ON UPDATED DETAILS OF THE WEST AFRICA REGIONAL FELLOWSHIP UNITY CAMP 2026

Steadfast greetings to all Battalion Councils, Companies, Officers, Boys, and Members of the Kaduna State Council.

Reference is hereby made to the National Headquarters Letter with Ref: BBN/NC/SEC/25/26/Vol.099 dated 12th May, 2026 on the Updated Details of the West Africa Regional Fellowship Unity Camp 2026 scheduled to hold in Ghana from Monday, 10th – Sunday, 16th August, 2026.

The Camp is strictly designed for BOYS between the ages of 13–18 years.

Cost Implications
* Camp Fee: 70 USD (Approximately ₦100,000)
* Transportation (Abuja – Ghana – Abuja by Road): ₦250,000
* Transportation within Ghana to Venue: ₦25,000
* BBNigeria Contingent T-Shirt: ₦15,000
* Total Estimated Cost: ₦390,000

Requirements
* Participant must be an active BBNigeria Member with Identity Card.
* Participant must possess either:
* National Identity Card
* International Passport, or ECOWAS Travellers Document
* Participant must meet all financial obligations and required items for the Camp.

All intending participants are advised to carefully study the attached National Letter for full details and requirements.

State Councils and sponsors are to submit names and ages of intending participants through the Kaduna State Council Secretariat on or before 30th May, 2026 for onward submission to the National Secretariat.

Please note that participation is strictly based on fulfillment of all stated requirements.

All Battalion Councils, Company Captains, Officers, Warrant Officers, NCOs and Members.

STRICT COMPLIANCE WITH NATIONAL COUNCIL DIRECTIVES ON UNETHICAL PRACTICES

The Kaduna State Council wishes to draw the attention of all members to the recent directive and strong warning issued by the National Council of The Boys’ Brigade Nigeria on unethical behaviours and practices contrary to the rules, regulations, and policies of the Brigade.

Particular attention was drawn to issues relating to:
1. Unauthorized ceremonial practices and activities not recognized by BBN.
2. Abuse and misuse of Boys’ Brigade uniforms and formations.
3. Unsafe and prohibited camp activities and related practices.

In line with the directives from the National Council, all Battalion Councils and Companies within Kaduna State are hereby warned to strictly adhere to the approved standards, procedures, and practices of The Boys’ Brigade Nigeria at all times.

Company Captains and Battalion Executives are advised to properly monitor all activities within their jurisdictions and ensure that no member engages in any act capable of bringing disrepute to the Brigade.

Please note that any member, officer, company, found violating these directives shall be disciplined accordingly in line with the constitutional provisions and disciplinary procedures of The Boys’ Brigade Nigeria.

Let us continue to uphold the discipline, integrity, and standard of our great organization.
